As a business customer have had to wait for over 46 days to have a sensor replaced. Totally unacceptable in a business world. Even with the current crisis our nation is in, a small task and repair such as this should never have taken this long. We have been with ADT for 37yrs. Too bad that they wont be making it 38.
I asked for the usual visit by the ADT guy. But the company double-billed me for the visit. They deny double-paying and wont return my money. Go to their website and youll see no way to contact them. Customer service says its not their problem. You can *FAX* a complaint to them, unwilling to provide a phone number or email.In short: youre dealing with a national company, youll be trusting your familys security to someone in Indianapolis or wherever.Like doing business with the Post Office? Then youll love ADT.Post script: the email address offered by the owner below is a dead address.STILL WAITING FOR A WAY TO CONTACT ADT.
Do not listen if they say they will move your equipment when you need to transfer service...my wife has been on the phone over twelve hours, still no resolution and they want to sell all new equipment for the new address! We bought our equipment only eight months ago...wish there was negative star rating!!!!
After they get the money, need a service call. First 2 times, somebody said going to call me back, nobody did... 3rd time, a guy tell me we are going to set up a time for you, and put me on hold for 30 minutes... seems to me, basically they care you dearly before you sign the contract, and rest you guys can figure out...
Installation and function of the system works well. If ADT themselves dealt with the system then I think things would have been fine.ADT subcontracts to Defenders for all other work in my experience. Trying to deal with Defenders is an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend ADT as long as their subcontractor is Defenders.
The agent that installed my system was beyond amazing. Our of 5 stars He gets a 10. The call to start everything was not very clear. I however believe that the agent who came to my house saved my relationship with ADT he is a true example of great customer service.
Our installation person was here on time and very professional. I feel that we received individualized attention to our needs to protect our home. We are very satisfied and hopefully will never have the need to use the system.
Buyer beware! We purchased an alarm and camera system from ADT in February of 2017 for our warehouse in DuPont, WA. During the installation, the installer apparently quit. Now, this is not ADTs fault because they outsource all of their installs, but ADT did not communicate this to us and frequently lied about the progress or lack thereof. Once the install was finally finished, 4 months after the install was supposed to be, we were left with a camera system that barely functions, for which we paid 20k for. I cannot even load all of my cameras at the same time, and I have to manually load each camera everytime I log in. Currently, ADT and the sales rep have declined to respond to my countless emails for questions I have with this poor system. Take the time and find another vendor as these people DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!
