I was able to find baseball gloves for my daughter and myself. They had a good selection and was even able to find a pink glove! This was the second sporting shop I had visited.

We shop here because they are convenient. If you are looking for shoes and clothing, this seems like a good spot with a lot of sales. Head somewhere else if you are looking for fishing or camping gear. The sales staff is always friendly and we have no complaints.

Do your research on air mattress. We had a problem with it loosing air all night. Had a heck of a time to return.

The entire selection of shoes are confirmed to be counterfeits. Not a single legitimate Nike or Adidas shoe in the entire store. I suggest you have a discussion with your ownership unless this is the type of business you want to promote. At the very least your purchaser need to be made aware he is buying from a bad supplier.... and youre hocking fakes for a 10x profit.

All the people there were very helpful and friendly. Big 5 always has cool stuff and good ideas for presents.

Their stock is mostly male in footwear. Then children and last female. I like it because I can always find two or more pairs. You will not find high price flashy shoes or sports apparel here. However thats not to say all items are cheap here, just discounted.

Went to big 5 in Lynnwood yesterday and had no problem. However, today at the shoreline location, my son, who is black, was followed around by an employee. She went out of her way to be next to us the entire time, not politely either. My son finally asked her if she needed something and she said she was just looking around. She wasnt even pretending to work. I just think in this day and age it was a little beyond ridiculous. We were both in shorts and tanks no where to hide something even if we wanted to shoplift.

Staff was very helpful and apologetic that they havent been able to restock weights and kettlebells. But they did help us find the other things we were looking for, and were practicing social distancing and good hygiene.

I could not imagine getting anymore products inside this store. We came in today today to return some sneakers that did not support very will. Bought the shoes 2 months ago, and much to our surprise the manager in Shoreline, found the receipt online. We got to pick out replacement shoes, and pay the difference in tax. Wonderful service, and selection. Go here for your next sporting goods needs, they wont disappoint. Keep offline stores alive.

Was looking for a bench press. Has been hard to find. Stopped at the Alderwood location. They didnt have any, but they did call the Shoreline Big 5, and it just so happens they had one. It was exactly what I was looking for. Someone took it out to my car and loaded it for me, since it came with weights and was extremely heavy. Everyone was so nice at the Alderwood location! You all made my day! Thankyou ‼️

Picked up a really cool ax from here yesterday. Wanted to get into ax throwing for the longest. I decide to finally go try it out. Got a great deal too and they made sure I got the one I wanted lol. Practiced all afternoon yesterday and Im so hooked now. Im headed back to pick up another ax as soon as they open.

Didnt have anything in my kids shoe size but once the guy helping us realized this he just never came back to help us. I had to find him as we were still waiting for him to come back from the backroom my boys shoes. We got ghosted by a shoe salesman 😂🤣

We went for the sale and got our items plus a few more. We needed some help and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and didnt disappear so when we had another question they werent far to go and ask. The prices were moderate store was clean staff is friendly and helpful. Dressing rooms were adequate to try on and actually turn around.

My wife, who is disabled, needs special velcro walking shoes for her aching feet. Here they are more reasonable than specialty shops, so we save money.

Didnt buy anything this time. Have to get stuff on the incredible random sales they have. Example : 50 dollar item usually half price. I got the best rechargeable flashlight for 2o bucks lasted years . And now Im shopping for one. I miss it now. Because a similar Im finding are expensive...

Tried to buy standard 9mm Luger ammunition, but the clerk behind the counter apparently had social justice issues about firearms, completely ignored me while I was struggling to read the boxes behind the counter. I waited patiently for almost 15 minutes, then left. Called them later to ask if they sold ammunition, and they said some types. It is apparent that they display but dont sell ammunition. Dont ever waste your time trying to buy anything firearms related at a big 5 in a liberal City

Check it out. Their variety of other sporting equipment is also pretty good, from shooting to weight lifting, I love this place.

I have been to this Big 5 multiple times before to buy shoes & other sporting goods & have had good experiences (5 stars). This time I was in to buy a 1-day only sale item of a blue tooth speaker that I was notified about by being on Big 5s email list. They had no inventory out but a guy waited on me & we finally located one in a locked glass case. He got it out & it was the only one available; no original box or instructions. He didnt seem to care about the speaker or me. Because of no instructions I decided not to get it. While makjng that decision the guy that had waited on me disappeared. Previously he seemed somewhat distracted & indifferent; no help to call another Big 5 to see what they had. So I Googled the next nearest Big 5, called them from my cell phone & a nice clerk checked for me that they had the item I wanted in stock. Another guy at the Bug 5 I was at went on the computer & verified inventory quantity at the other Big 5 (he was more attentive & helpful). So I disappointedly made the extra drive to the other Big 5 & bought the speaker. It was unacceptable that the 1st Big 5 did not receive any stock of their email promoted 1-day sales item & give such indifferent service at the beginning. But I will be back to buy more shoes when I need them, but those purchases are easier. Sorry that they were more challenged this time.

Went to look at golf laser range finder gift for my father in law. There were 3. One in a box and two open box samples. Nobody knew anything, even a basic answer about their abilities except the price.Plus the humans manning the store were quite unhelpful.I arm going to search amazon and order from there. Father in law can wait an extra two days.

I have been shopping here for 25 years. I will never come back. I wanted to buy a backpack for my husband. The ba kpacks are now located so high that they are unreachable. I asked for help but could not get help because the 3 employees standing around could not help me. I was told that it gad been a crazy day. So I asked if I could just get something to get the backpack that I wanted down myself. I was denied. Never will I come back. These employees were not that busy.

Walked in and asked if there was any lunch boxes for construction sites. pointed to the back wall. there were some on the top shelf (very high) but couldnt decipher between them. walked around some and decided to just leave as it didnt seem important to notice I couldnt find what I was looking for. walking out, there was a young man spraying the counter that made eye contact with me. I told him what I was looking for and he actually led me to the limited space they were in. he actually helped me. I get that sales and cashiers get busy. I get that they have many things to do and are interrupted often. but please, remember your customers do as well and l. for myself, I am a bit more than lost in this type of store. I dont expect too much, just a bit more than a quick direction. also, if you see someone like me wondering, check in. I know I would appreciate it.

The associates were very friendly and helpful, although when I went to go look for a decent pair of running shoes, I asked an associate if they had a particular pair in size 10 and he told me that there was no stock other than what they had up front. A little disappointing that there were so few sizes, but its not a specialty shoe store, so I wont make too much of a fuss about it :)

I went there after the gym so I had my gym clothes on I needed some shoes and found what I wanted fast. The manager made me feel like a thief he asked if I wanted to keep the box of shoes up front. This pissed me off. Ive spent several thousand there . Im gonna find another store to spend my hard earned money.

This place is packed with all sorts of stuff, somewhat overwhelming at first but ultimately I was finding my self yelling over to my girlfriend whoa look at this! over, and over, and over again. Friendly staff that greeted us as we came in and made us laugh as we left.In short, this place is a gold mine of a little bit of this and that, you wont be disappointed if you take the time to look around.

My 9 year old son and I visited the Aurora Village (Shoreline WA) location earlier this week. We were shopping for baseketball shoes. We went to the shoe section and found the style he liked. I then went to find a staff member to measure his feet.I guess I should add that when I found him he was leaning over counter chatting with a young lady that was working as cashier. The young man measured my sons foot and said he wore a size 9. I thought this odd as his last pair was a 3 1/2. When I questioned him he said he doesnt work in shoe department often. As this young man went to find the shoes in the back room, he stopped and said actually, it is about time for my 10 minute break. Okay if I get someone else to help you? I was shocked and said yeah, I guess. The young man comes back a few minutes later and says the dude that will be coming to help you is helping someone in gun department but would be over in a while. I replied seriously...oh well, I guess I will have to wait. So we wait for about 10 minutes and I see the entire staff (4) congregating around the counter area. As we are leaving one of them mumbles - thanks, have a good night. I couldnt let it go - I tell them that the young man needs to develop a work ethic. The young man asks one of the others didnt you go to help them? The guy replies no - I didnt. No apologies, no offer to make things right. Unbelievable. I tell them I have been in many times before but I guess I should go to Sports Authority. Again - no offer to make it right. Shrugs, mumbled apologies and then back to their conversations. The staff seemed to think it was humorous.Too many options besides Big 5. Sign me - A Former Big 5 Customer. I was very impressed with Sport Authority - helpful, friendly and knowledgable staff.
