My car had some curbed wheels I finally decided to get fixed and refinished in Hyper Silver. I was quoted a reasonable price of $750. Dropped off my wheels on April 12 and got them back April 26. Heres where I ran into my first set of issues with this business. When I was finally able to pick up my wheels I was greeted with the worst refinish job I had ever seen, they completely ruined the finish of my wheels. The finish looked gritty, rough, and had absolutely terrible orange peel everywhere. Where the center caps go the paint was lifting and chipping off. Theres tons of imperfections and particles embedded in the paint finish. I had notified them of my dissatisfaction and they agreed to redo the wheels. The second time round they had my wheels for another 3 weeks, and in the process of removing and installing my tires put a hole in the sidewall of one of them. You also have to call them for updates instead of having them notify you your wheels are ready to be picked up. Very poor communication on their part. This whole ordeal cost me 4 one hour round trips to them and back, 5 weeks of running spare wheels and tires, and $1,100 when accounting for the cost to replace the damaged tire. Terrible business, they have proven incapable of installing tires without damaging them let alone repairing and refinishing wheels.
Alloy Wheel Specialists do amazing work. I hit a pothole and bent my Toyota rim causing my wheel to shimmy. I called and they said to bring the rim over for inspection. Extremely pleasant staff and very knowledgeable. They assessed the damage and gave me an estimate for the repairs. Very reasonable pricing and a prompt turnaround time too. The rim and tire drive and ride like new. I am very pleased with the results and would recommend their services to everyone.
These guys are the best, I had some curb rash on a few wheels and they fixed them up in no time. When I picked up my wheels they looked brand new and couldnt tell there was ever any curb rash on them! They do phenomenal work, thank you guys!
My Tesla wheels want to do a standing ovation for this shop for the great service, but unfortunately, my wheels do not have hands (or curb rash anymore).
Had a rim badly Scratched up by valet parking. So i brought my truck in to have the rim repaired (touched-up) Fast service, professional and Good people. Rim came out better than expected and saved me $$ didn’t have to replace the rim.
The did an amazing job refinishing my wheels and much cheaper than replacing them. The receptionist was very nice and helpful with all the questions I had. 10/10 would recommend.

I refer customers here for wheel repairs and refinishing. Their work is exceptional. They’ve taken curb rashes out of rims making them look new. Very easy to work with. Mobile and in house services.
Mark was nice guy and straight forward. I was told I had 3 bent wheels so I brought them to him to repair. He checked them in about 5 minutes. He could have said I needed all 3 fixed, but he was honest saying one was for sure bad, one was not worth fixing and the 3rd was in between and borderline. I chose to get 2 of the 3 repaired. They are now back on the car and the wobble is gone. Glad I brought them there or I would have paid for 3 wheel repairs instead of 2 and also paid less per wheel.
My partner went to get our rim repaired. The tech told us it wasnt damaged and charged us to get them rebalanced. Went back to discount tire who originally told us the rim was damaged where they pointed out where the damage was. Wasted an hour trip across town and money on rebalancing. Decided to just buy a new rim.

Dropped my 911 wheel off to repair a crack and bend, they took fantastic care of it for a fair price. Wheel is now back to being in perfect round and holding air as it should. Repair was quick and painless. Would recommend to anyone needing wheels repaired.

I had an appointment to repair one of my wheels. I was told to drop off the car on 03/31 for repairs. I called in the morning to know what time is the drop, the customer service rep was unhelpful and indicated that I’m not a priority because I’m only repairing one wheel. Also they won’t have my car take up space... the whole time she very rude and unprofessional.

Wow! I just had the rims on a convertible I decided to restore. I was wondering if I should do it but did. They have turned out fantastic and the car looks like new! It even drives and rides better with the wheels tuned up! I highly recommend the AWRS. They do great work!

This place is amazing, and they have gained a customer for life. The quality of work is phenomenal, the environment is clean and inviting, and the staff is top-notch and very friendly. They were able to correct some pretty awful bends in my rims, saving my well over a thousand dollars. Clearly, I highly recommend them.
I had 4 rims polished for a warranty claim, dropped the vehicle off for a week so they would have plenty of opportunity to do a quality, and not rushed job. At the end of the week, when they were running behind I allowed them an couple of extra days to complete the polishing. I went to pick up the vehicle a few mornings later and was surprised the learn that the wheels werent on the vehicle yet. No apologies or acknowledgement that they were behind or they screwed up. When I got the vehicle back, it was obvious they rushed to put it together as the interior of my SUV was dirty from the mechanics clothes not even attempted to be cleaned up, and the rims were also dirty. You couldnt tell that a final polish was done to them. I had great expectations from this company seeing all the good reviews but I am disappointed with the results we got.

Bought an older Z4 with BMW 108 2 piece wheels. Both front wheels were in rough shape. I contacted two different wheel repair shops (via email) and Jason replied right away, provided a quote that was very fair and I dropped of the wheels a couple days later.The other shop was slow to respond, twice the cost and their outcome prediction was underwhelming at best (and Im being nice).Well, I picked them up today and WOW - these wheels are gorgeous - the look as good if not better than factory new!I am so excited, I could not wait to right this review! They have earned my respect and next time I have wheel repairs done - this will be my go to place!

Had a pretty deep curb rash on the edge of a nicely finished wheel... when I saw it after the repair I was convinced the result was the workings of some unknown witchcraft or literally a new wheel. I almost want to gash another rim just so I can see them do it again. Phenomenal work.

The owner, Jason, is excellent. He got my business because hes a common sense good person. Hell keep my business because he and his employees do excellent work. My aluminum rims were in pretty good shape for being 10 years old except for a big scratch on one, a dent in another from a careless so called tire professional, and all had minimal corrosion & pitting on the edges. Im not easy to please, but the finished product looked perfect including matching the powder coat chip/swatch.Jason isnt looking to make as much money as possible from each customer interaction. His motivation is to provide each prospective and current customer with the best solution. Sometimes its expensive. Sometimes its inexpensive. Sometimes its between expensive and inexpensive. If youre looking for someone to cut corners so you can save money, please go somewhere else. Jason has built his reputation by always doing the right thing, following the process and doing it the right way.Restored the rims on my 2008 Impala SS to BETTER than factory new. How? Powder coat over the aluminum then clear coat over the powder coat. Way more pretty & durable than any factory applied clear coat over aluminum. Clear coat was never meant to go over aluminum. But, its cost efficient to do this at the factory and it lasts long enough to deter a class action lawsuit.Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists ALWAYS use stick on weights after they refinish your rims. If you care enough to refinish your cars rims, for the love of your vehicle & your rims, stop using pounded on lead wheel weights! They chip off the clear/powder coat, scratch and/or gouge the bare aluminum accelerating the flake off process including corroding and/or pitting.If you love and value your pretty rims like I do, remember to request of your tire professional stick on wheel weights only AND use the plastic protective pieces on the tire machine so they dont scratch your rims changing tires. If youre lucky, theyll have a touchless tire machine. If they give you ANY reason why they cant use stick on wheel weights or claim damaging your rims is just part of changing tires, go somewhere else.
The work was completed when promised and with care. The folks I talked to were very pleasant and knowledgeable and did an excellent job with the repair. I would most definitely recommend them!
Finished product was better than expected. Nobody was at the front desk the 2 of 3 times I was there which is very odd. Had to walk into the shop to get help. Quoted 2-3 day turn around. Took about 4-5 days for each set of two I ran through them. Jason seemed to be annoyed when I called to check status after 2 days. He didnt answer when I called to check on the day he said they would be done. I had my wife call which was promptly answered. One of the four tires started leaking due to tears on inner sidewall where it seals on the rim, likely an install issue. I didnt go after them for it. There is a chance Discount Tire screwed up on the initial install but they had been fine until the rim refinish. Tires werent great but now Im buying a new set of 4 after paying to have them rims refinished which sucks. Rating should probably be lower but I love the finished product.
