We shop here twice a month. Store is clean, employees are helpful and friendly. The bakery cakes are the best, so tasty! 😋

The store doesnt seem to be ran as well as other locations. Example: frozen items sit out too long and thaw before the freezer is stocked. Also, it doesnt look like they check the temperature or time on the fried chicken and other cooked items. The food isnt consistent. It looks like its been in the warmer for hours. Produce at times is older. The Lakeside store is ran much better.

I really appreciate how the Show Low Safeway keeps the shelves stocked with all food and non food items. The staff and cashiers are helpful and friendly which makes your shopping experience easier. The market is very clean and I noticed that the aisles are kept free of crates of product that are needing to be restocked on the shelves which is a more than I can say about another nearby local shopping center who I believe doesnt do their stocking after hours like Safeway does. It would be nice if we could possibly see another grocery store in our area as the population seems to be growing by the day.

Nice clean store, prices are higher the other local stores. Staff friendliness is hit or miss. There app and systems are not always in sync.

As far as chain grocery stores go, especially for living in a small town, I like this Safeway. Its rare they dont have what Im looking for, the staff is usually friendly and helpful. They have a better selection than the one in Pinetop closer to home, so I try to go in when Im in Show Low during the work week.

Great meat dept other than that not much variety. Deli food always looks and tastes old and dry. Some of the associates could use some good customer service courses.

They had neither of the 2 things I needed. One was a one-gallon jug of water. The only ones they had were $4!

The coupons are great. Service and convenience is a plus.

Was out of more items than the smaller Safeway in Springerville. Aisles were crowded with shoppers and stockers. Did Bidenomics mess up their supply chain?

Lets start with this footnote. Show Low and Pinetop-Lakeside have been growing like a weed keeping pace with Valley of the Sun this past decade.Allow a growing resort district to have only 2 Safeways, one Walmart, and the famously small Eddies owned by Bashas. Now combine with a big holiday weekend like Labor Day. Can you say, Slow moving train wreck?!Now walk in Friday Sep. 3 at the start of a long holiday weekend. What a mess! Water aisle gutted, paper goods gutted, and other departments looking like a biblical horde of locusts had chewed thru the shelves. Now add the icing on the cake. Short staffed and all checkstands running 6-8 deep with obviously frustrated customers.No hint that any senior management was on the floor. Not even front end mgr. or PIC.YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. BUY GROCERIES & ESSENTIALS AHEAD OF YOUR VISIT TO THIS OTHERWISE WONDERFUL LOCATION IN AZ. CANT STAND CORPORATE INCOMPETENCE & CLINGING TO OUTDATED SUPPLY TECHNIQUES WITH CHANGE STARING THEM IN THE FACE.

Went with a friend, to order a cake for a family get together after a difficult loss. The cake was breathtaking, and captured the memories perfectly. Ive never seen a cake make so many people cry, but it was an unforgettable experience. The bakery alone is enough for the establishment to receive 10 stars, but the rest of the experience was equally pleasing. Thank you Safeway

I visited this Safeway on a nice Saturday morning in Springerville. It was a nice experience.

Above average grocery store. Two choices in this location, Walmart and Safeway, we use both.

Safeway was great, but their upgrade on their app, bites the big one and will be calling corporate.

The young man who loaded my groceries was awesome. Still getting used to what to substitute and what not to.

Clean and pretty much has everything you need at a grocery store.

Every time I go there I I get charged more on my receipt have to get a refund and I dont understand But I know one thing I need to check my receipt all the time or I will get cheated I got my money Other than that I love the store

What can be said about a Safeway, the staff here is so much nicer than any of the Safeways near our Phoenix home. The only downside is not their fault in any way. Its just always very busy as its one of the very few options aside from Walmart in Show Low.

I love Safeway because its so close to where I live and I dont have to go far to grab groceries!!!!

As I was leaving this store I passed a mother and her 2 very young children and then was passed by two of the store employees walking back into the store. The profanity coming out of the employees mouths as the passed me and the small children would have made any sailor blush! I turned around and yelled at them to stop and come back out of the store which they did. I asked them if it was ok with their employer to use such language in front of small children and customers and told them to apologize to the Mum and her kids and I left. Wont be going back.

Had everything we needed, much nicer than Walmart.

Safeway is the best we have in out quirky mountain hamlet

This store is very dirty. Inside and out. Employees walk over the trash thats on the floor and the ground. They allow non-service animals in the grocery. Unacceptable

The food at Safeway is fresh and delicious the associates are hard workers.

Cashiers and most of the clerks are amazing. I try to deal with management as little as possible. I posted that they were out of the gallons of chocolate milk 2 or times a week and it has since gotten lots better. I drink a gallon a week and only miss out on getting some about once a month.

Very crowded! Nice that they had an organizer for self check out. It was needed.

Its where I shop regularly and the just for you really helps out not only do you save money buying you get points towards gas

The prodice seems fresher than Walmart since they specialize in food. If you have the Club Safeway card, it has great deals!! Some are even better than Walmart! Highly recommend 👌

Bathrooms were closed and there was a line of 5 people waiting. The person cleaning just ignored every one and continued at a tortoise pace.

The lady at the meat counter is unable to focus on a single task. It took 45 minutes for her to cut 1 lb roast beef, 1lb turkey and half pound cheese. She kept cutting a few slices and then just started walking around. My mother in law asked me what was wrong with her. The brand new kid who didn’t know what he was doing helped two customers with identical sized orders to ours and finished before she did. At one point she was wandering around looking for a bag. I don’t know a bag for what or why she couldn’t wait til she finished slicing the meat. She had A few slices of meat cut and 3/4 of the roast still there. Also store was out of 2% milk, had no smal bottles of creamer, no pot holders, no dog bowls, no fine ground pepper and many other common items (root beer)Update: second visit and I avoided meat counter but cashier shorted me 13 monopoly tickets. Added photo of receipt and tickets to the store photos as proof.

Nobody in the ShowLow Safeway pharmacy wants to do their job. I finally had to switch all my prescriptions to WalGreens after 5 days of excuses concerning a medication that I CANNOT skip for even a day.1. We’re out2. It wasn’t called in3. Order didn’t come yetI’m 72, I’ve worked in the medical field and dealt with multiple pharmacies. Never have I seen such poor customer service and lack of concern for their customers.They won’t care about loosing customers or a bad review.

I like to see the diversity of employees at the store. All employees seem to be doing their best and all employees are wearing masks. With how many people are constantly going in and out it is amazing this store is as kept up as it is. Busy place.Many guests arent wearing masks and going the wrong was on the one way aisles... And theyre always out of baked chips and Gatorade zero.

Good store clean and well stocked, some might be challenged by seeing some people wearing no masks etc in store- but its a smaller town so you got to understand the local view on things. Didnt deter us or bother us.

If there was another grocery store in the area, I would not be at Safeway. Lots of shelves are bare, sent to customer service counter when I asked the cashier for a rain check (none at her register?), and other problems in this store.

Well kept store, but allowing people into the store to shop that were not wearing masks. We are in a pandemic and protecting their customers is not a personal choice. The entryway was clearly marked, but the policy was not being enforced. Will be shopping at a store that cares about the safety of their customers.

Clean store, produce section was very well maintained, full, and presented very well. I hated their self checkout though. It took longer than needed because of errors. We had to wait for an employee to clear them. It wasnt just the self check out we were using, all of them were having issues. They need to update them.

We are buying a home in the area. On quick trip up to do an inspection, we realized we left my heart medication at home. My Dr sent an emergency prescription to be filled and suggested I call the pharmacy to ask that they let the insurance company know it was an emergency fill. First I talked to someone who obviously had no interest in helping. She was simply obnoxious and stated I own the issue. She said it is my responsibility to deal with it and they don’t do that. While it may be true I own it, to have the nerve to throw that at your customer is beyond me. It is a courtesy most pharmacies are happy to do. After to much dialog with his poorly trained employee, I asked for the pharmacist. It was obvious this person (Kathryn?) did not like the request. After being put on hold for an overly extended time and being disconnected, I finally made contact with the pharmacist, David D. David was just as uninterested in helping. He did everything he could to not help. Once I challenged the fact that they should be willing to help, he defensively said he would try, but they are busy and it would not be until the next day. Again...emergency medication for a heart patient. I was absolutely shocked. This store will NEVER get my business. They may not miss it, but those who run big boxes, know how much a person spends in a life time and how valuable referrals are. Neither of these will be had by me. If you can, go elsewhere. Totally unacceptable. An embarrassment for the Safeway brand!

Best grocery store in the Show Low/Pinetop area. Well stocked and good variety. Better than the Safeway in Pinetop but the Pinetop Safeway would be a close 2nd.

Used to love the sushi here, but they no longer offer eel, and put spicy mayo on almost everything.
