On March 20, 2021, I had a service appointment for an oil change and tire rotation on my 2015 Acura ILX. Mind you, I lived in Monroe, so it was a good drive for me to get there. During that appointment the service advisor told me that I needed some maintenance items handled. I kindly told her that Id spent $8xx.xx at Acura of Jackson in January and I shouldve only needed an oil change and tire rotation. She stated that the technician physically noticed that I needed a drive belt. I told them to go ahead with the drive belt because I was taking a long trip in a few days. The drive belt happened to be out of stock, so I couldnt have it done. That following Monday, I contacted Acura of Jackson to see what service was performed and drive belt was on the list. The advisor said that I definitely had it replaced, so I had it checked at a different dealership (Not Jackson) just in case because someone was lying to me. Well, I had it checked and my drive belt was brand new. Acura of Shreveport blatantly lied to me about what I needed and it was a true blessing that the drive belt was out of stock at the time. Businesses need to learn that you dont have to lie to get money out of customers. If you provide the best service....including customer service, the business and money will come. I will never have service performed at Orr Acura again.
Bought a truck from ore pre owned and 2 days later the check engine light came on. Come to find out from a reputable mechanic that it has an exhaust leak and module problem. Took the truck in in Saturday and understandably knew the service dept couldnt even look at it until Monday. I called the dealership and got hung up on and then called back and said the manager was busy and couldnt take my call. I would like to know the status of the vehicle which would have taken a few precious moments of their time .. I only hope their service is better than their manners

Attn. management: You mention you can not find me in any of the paperwork due to the fact that the paperwork was done WRONG as stated in my initial review. And now to add to issues with the truck after a long 600 mile trip I have now discovered the truck has an extreme death wobble that now has to come out of my pocket.The paperwork was done completely wrong. And I was told the batteries would be replaced because they were so awful corroded then my husband looks at them today and you can see where the battery is still corroded to the bracket. I feel like a fool. I will be up there Monday morning asking questions!!!

Best car buying experience ever. They treat you like family, work as hard as they can to get you paying what you want to pay, and bend over backwards for you. It is amazing the customer service in comparison with other dealerships. Its worth a lot trusting your dealership and knowing theyre there for you no matter what. Never felt more comfortable. Will definitely always go through them to buy any vehicle from now on!! Also the best option for busy people like me. They make everything so easy. Not just the car buying, but it is going to be so nice for them to pick up my vehicle from work, take it to have work done or oil changed, and then be back in the parking lot before I get off. What more can you ask for!?! Love them!!!
Skip this place. I have purchased many cars over the last few years. These guys are terrible. They tried car salesmen tactics from 10 years ago or more. Very shady. Worst I have seen in a long time. They have nice manners but will take advantage of you in a heart beat. We purchased our first Acura here 3 years ago and were very happy. They have changed management and it is a different story now. They would not even come off full sticker price. They just tried to justify sticker price. Complete waste of time!

Had an amazing experience, even having a young and lower credit, along with a repossession on my record, I still drove away in a pre owned car that I love. The staff was amazing, and the grounds were clean and catering.Edit to add: Over one year later, I wreck the car purchased in above review. Insurance covered everything, and worked with Orr auto to put a payment on another cad, that Orr Acura delivered to me in east Texas.Thanks guys!
The management team here will serve your purpose for coming to their store, I just pickup out going transmission and the punctuality, paperwork and assistance to the tractor trailer..wow, that is 2nd to none....

Bad experience
I’ve had nothing but problems with the service dept.1st-took car for brake job. I was sure I needed rotors resurfaced or replaced. The brake pads also needed to be replaced since car had original pads & had 55,000 milesThey charged $290 to resurface rotors but they put the original pads back on the car! Who does that? As a result, I was forced to replace the pads, rotors everything several months later!Acura service said I needed a new axle. They replaced it using my extended warranty but neglected to install it properly.While another shop was performing the brake job brakes since Acura didn’t replace the pads previously -my mechanic noticed axle was slinging grease. Took it back to Acura & due to their previous poor service both axles required replacement. I’m on my 3rd drivers side axle now & 2nd passenger side axle.As a result of the axle not being installed properly my tires were cupped. I was under the impression it had been repaired properly. I drove the car 15,000 miles not knowing the axle wasn’t seated properly. So I was forced to replace the tires with low mileage on them. I have free alignment with Firestone. So I have proof the car had been aligned & tires rotated frequently.Then, my car was losing power. I immediately pulled over & called Acura roadside assistance for help. They sent a tow truck out of Texas. They only took $100 off towing bill which was $225. Then they towed my car to the wrong place. They towed it to Gateway tires, claiming they were unaware where to take my car because their service dept was closed. When I called service dept, they were rude, stated it was my problem. I had to pay an additional $116 to have car car towed 1/4 mi to Acura! Service manager refused to give me curtesy car therefore I had to rent a car to drive. Service said it was my tensioner pulley. They claimed my warranty would cover & also cover timing belt replacement since it was due. I would be charged for water pump & timing belt ($550). I agreed. They said car was ready, I turned in my rental car & paid dealership & tried to start car it sounded like a 4 wheeler with bad carburetor! I asked what had they done to my car it wasn’t drivable. They instantly said it was my catalytic converters without ever looking at it! How could all 3 converters go out simultaneously, when the car engine was cold? This car wasn’t ready for its first scheduled tune/up yet! This car has never ever had an engine light come on...EVER! Not only that...they are supposed to be the experts! Why would they say my car was driving fine & ready for pick up if all the converters were bad? They gave me curtesy car & several days later contacted me claiming it was definitely the converters & would not be covered by warranty & they wanted $2100 to repair the car! I asked if car was drivable! These people sent me off in that car in heavy traffic! It was a death trap! It was stalling & backfiring! The VSA light was flashing, the A/C quit working, the engine light was flashing & dinging! I was so scared. I didn’t make it 5 miles & was forced to call for my 3 tow! Acura Service is a complete joke! They are rude, unhelpful & they have cost me a fortune! So I take the car to another service professional only to learn Acura neglected to replace the idler pulley when performing timing belt replacement. The mechanic took pics of idler pulley which shows obvious signs of wear! I was told Acura has set me up for catastrophe failure!What is wrong with these people? Every single time they have worked in my car it has turned out badly & cost me more money to repair their mistakes! One would think the dealership would repair it correctly & completely! The poor service I have received at the dealership in Shreveport is the sole reason I want to sell my Acura! I love my car but cannot risk having any more faulty repairs at Acura!

The employees of Orr Acura of Shreveport are both professional and courteous. I bought my Acura TLX at a different dealership, however bringing it to the service department provided information and great service. Trey assisted me and he is very knowledgeable. Overall, They were better than the dealership I bought my car from....In retrospect if I knew about them sooner, I wouldve rather purchased here.
They have a great selection of cars to choose from and I was treated very well.

Was awesome til after I bought my car and need things done after. Then they acted like they didnt care. They owed me money and was promised to have it by thanksgiving. I still havent seen it!
Terrible so far. I been waiting on my car for 1 week and a half about now. If this week passes that will 2 weeks now.I made a deal for pre-owned Challenger. I noticed there were a few issues on the car, salesman agree to fix it under condition I buy the car which I agreed. Felt happy with the buy and assumed salesman was happy. Well I left the car, with the sales team expecting satisfied work and to which was as agreed above. They told me it would be done in 4 days. (bought on a Tuesday expected done on a Saturday)And, that all will be taken care of. So, far as today. I havent been contacted by them so far. I made all contact to see if the car is near done or at the very least an update but I keep been tolding it will be soon at this point I regret doing business. They tried to a few extra perks but all I wont the vechile.Ill update this post if they finish the work.

Staff really seems to be there to help the customer. Every time I have interacted with them I have gotten the impression they were there to help me as an individual even if their profit was not greatly helped. They are here for the customer first.
