The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Their wine selection is very interesting and broad. If you are looking for interesting wines and other food related items to impress your friends or your taste buds, go here. Their selection of alternative grapes and countries encourages the sophisticated buyer to experiment and learn about indigenous wines. Maybe next time, I will buy a bottle from Georgia (the country).

Overall they have a decent to good selection but I don’t think they have the best customer service. I’ve been there multiple times and each time there are these young guys, not super helpful and zero knowledge. Have gotten the “yeah i don’t know what that is” a few times, very low energy service. Go to Tony’s for the old school good customer service you expect

Good selection and the staff was great. I was looking for a high end bottle of champagne for my parents anniversary. The lady I spoke with couldve really taken advantage of me and sold me a $300 bottle of Cristal, but instead turned me onto her favorite champagne which was only around $80. She saved me money and my parents loved it. Ill definitely be returning.

They have a nice selection of wines, beers, liquor and cheese. Theyve also got locally sourced meat (bacon and sausage). The management is actively looking for local suppliers and I like to support merchants with that philosophy. They have a good selection of bourbons, gins and other liquors, as will as harder to find items like Mandarin Napoleon and Amaretto de Lazzaroni. Its definitely worth your time to go by.

I have had trouble with customer service at other liquor stores. Not here! The staff is very knowledgeable about their products. One staff member, Austin, helped me pick out a variety of beers to try based on what I like. He was spot on with his suggestions.If you want quality, this is the place to get it. They carry brands other stores dont.

Cubans has the best wine and liquor store in Louisiana north of I-10. For fine selections it may be the best in Louisiana excluding New Orleans metro. Yesterday, I was looking for a fine liquor/wine to give as a Christmas gift. They had about 20 forms of (French, there is no other) Champagnes and two shelves of special release bourbons, one for $1999.99 (not kidding). Since Im so effusive, i should note I dont work there or have any connection to them.

If youve ever had a specific question about scotch, or need help pairing wines with cheeses, this is the only store in Shreveport/bossier that offers these types of services. Spoke with Jason and even after he admitted he wasnt the best whiskey guy. He lended a bunch of knowledge and pointed me towards several Scotches that I will be returning and purchasing in the near future.
