The woman who works here during the day is such a sweetheart. She went out of her way to order something for me that they currently did not have in stocks. She gave me a date that it would be in. I called on that date and my order had arrived and was ready for pickup. The nicest woman you would ever want to meet especially since you were new the area after just moving here and she went above and beyond. Im sorry I cant remember her name right now. I must have gotten the wrong assistance, but I came in to ask for a beach chair because websites for Ace said they carry it. I was Rudely and quickly told no, basically didn’t want to be bothered. Oh well I guess I will never step foot in here again. If this is the norm I guess I grew up treating customers better

TC always hones our good kitchen knives SO sharp that he can shave with them. I cannot recommend Ace highly enough for razor sharpening of any knife. The folks at Ace in Simpsonville are just plain NICE people who make you feel welcome and who express their gratitude for your patronage. Look them up; you wont be sorry.

Fantastic place with excellent customer service. My 9-year-old son brought back his broken Ace hardware brand tape measure and they replaced it with no questions asked. They give much better advice than the big box stores just around the corner. If you want knowledge this is the place to shop.

I save time and a lot of exercise by going here first instead of the big box stores. At Simpsonville Ace, I always get the friendly help and advice I need. If they dont have an item in stock, they can order it for delivery to their store and I can pick it up there. They also have some gift items!

I had ordered a ladder from the weekly add. The ladder came with the free platform. Cooperate emailed me stating I would not receive the platform. . After calling and speaking to a call center rep, she informed me I would not get it at all. I could understand if being out of stock, she could tell me I would get it as soon as they get more in stock. Completely understandable. But to not get it at all?I went to the Store and talked to the owner, Ben Duncan. He immediately called cooperate and got them to send the platform! That was wonderful costumer service! Merry Christmas to my husband! Thank you!

Have always had friendly service at this location, and its kept clean and orderly. One staff members saved me from having to patch a wall and suggested toogle bolts to reattach a piece of hardware. It was a time saver, thanks Ace.

Rude associate. Due to the pandemic, I am doing strictly curbside pickup, since I have a pre-existing health condition. I ordered a box of miracle grew plant food on a Saturday same-day pickup. I received an email on Wednesday, May 27 the that it was ready. Pulled up there a little before noon and called the store explaining I was there for curbs pickup. A girl who answered the phone said I needed to come in. I said I was there for curbside. She said, We dont do that. I politely explained that I was holding a receipt that said curbside pickup on it. Then, she said they didnt have time to bring it out to me with only two people on register. I looked around and there was only one other car in the parking lot. Before I could answer, she rudely said Ill have to wait awhile and theyll try to get out to me when they are able. I replied that I will not be doing that and to keep the order. Why are they advertising same-day and curbside pickup when its non-existent?
