Anytime I have to bring my vehicle in for repairs, I always fear the worst — money grabbing nonsense, surly attitudes and absurd estimates along with filthy waiting areas and bathrooms. This establishment so pleasantly surprised me in every way. The public space is immaculate with free coffee, sodas and bottled water. Sean, the owner, is gracious, polite and very professional. They diagnosed my vehicle’s problem quickly. (I thought it was the transmission. It turned out to be a couple of shot engine mounts). Considering the labor involved, the work was performed before day’s end and at a very fair price. The rough shifting and vibrations were fully resolved. These guys do it right the first time, a rarity in the auto repair game. I am extremely impressed and I am most certainly never easily impressed. Many thanks to Sean and his team of pros.

Took my older jaguar here for transmission replacement awhile back. It took awhile to get it back. But I also know its a jaguar. The car runs like new for a year now. The price was competitively priced. The owner/manager talked to me every single time I called. And he kept me up to date on things that came up. Never had me in the dark. Sadly I called for normal service and told me they are no longer taking my kind of cars.

I took my car here because of the 5 star reviews. Told me I needed another transmission and replacement with a used one would run just over 3600. Was told nobody works on transmissions when I asked about fixing it instead. Paid them their $112 and took it to someone that does work on them. Couple of bearings at $700 to actually fix. If you need an actual mechanic that can troubleshoot dont go here.

Shawn and his team were awesome. I’m driving across country and my car started misfiring. I pulled up to the shop around 8am hoping he could help me determine the cause. He took me in right away and was able to quickly determine an ignition coil was defective and got it replaced within 2hrs so I could get back in the road. Great price too. My 99 Dodge/Cummins Ram 2500 broke a serpentine belt just outside of New Orleans. I was traveling through the area in my way to Florida. Pro-Auto Repair allowed me to drop my truck off after hours and fixed my truck the very next day allowing me to get back on the road.It turned out that the serpentine belt (a new one I had a mechanic put on in Arizona a few days before) turned out to be the wrong one because the pulley was for a different size. This was due to an alternator replacement with the wrong pulley three years ago. To save me some money, auto-pros assured me if they replaced the spindle and serpentine belt with narrower belt it would function fine. It has and my truck made the rest of the trip with no more serpentine belt problems.

I had some work done by this company and it had nothing to do with the door. I picked up my car and went around the block and realized that my door was broken. I went back to the office to complain that now my driver side won’t open from the inside. The mechanic said he did not do it and it was fine when he worked on my car, he then said it must been my fault. The owner then said I could leave it and he could give me an estimate for fixing what they broke. After being called a liar, I then left and vow to never return and warn every body about them! I went in to change out the brake pads on my 2010 Pontiac G6 in March 2020 as a walk-in. They managed to get the pads installed within 40 minutes at a discounted price! The technician also advised me to get my rear brake pads and bearings replaced, so I think I know where I will be headed to get that done.Great service, wonderful facility, and fair pricing. The shop had my Jeep Grand Cherokee fixed up and ready to roll in one day. The water pump on my Jeep was bad, coolant was leaking, and the thermostat was on the outs. Had my Jeep towed to Pro-Auto after my clutch went out on I-10. I picked this shop because I saw they had good reviews in general and specifically did transmission work. I’m very glad I ended up choosing them in the end. Everyone there was professional and friendly and very upfront the whole way. Disassembling/ reassembling a clutch is not the easiest procedure but they got it done well and quickly. Shawn kept me up to date the whole way and ensured all my questions were answered. Was even kind enough to offer me a ride to the shop after they finished up with the Jeep. Overall a very professional, personal, and reassuring experience. Military friendly too. I reached out to Shawn before a very long journey to Arizona (21 hour drive) to make sure everything was safe as I had an intermittent check engine light. He identified the issue Immediately as an O2 sensor issue which would’ve basically ruined my engine! He also found my steering tire rods are worn and could have cause steering wheel malfunction! He took care of all this same day and always available to chat for questions in between. Now I have peace of mind to venture on this journey and the work was extremely high-quality . He gave me his card and a month later the A/C was no longer cold traveling at speed... seemed to be a slow leak. Called to make an appointment, brought in at 8:15AM, expected to get a call for a refill/dye/return to find leak.... but NO, it was the compressor, he had one ON-HAND and could fix it today out the door $1026 w/3yr warranty. I have in search of a good quality shop and I have found it with Shaun. All the respect and dignity I deserve as a customer and quality service to my vehicles. I decided to keep my 1999 work truck but it was time to upgrade. I called Shaun and his diligence convinced me to go all the way. They replaced my engine, water pump, power steering pump, ac dryer and orfice tube, hoses, my fan clutch, ok just about everything under the hood in less than a week. If the weather didnt hold up the delivery it would have only been three days. Omg! They are great! 100,000 mile warranty on the engine. I got a new truck without the note! Im sure Ill have it until I retire thanks to pro auto. I rarely trust folks when Im spending a lot of money but I really got everything I paid for with these guys. You get what you pay for at the other places. Trust me I know!

My alternator went out on a Friday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. I called and asked if they could fit me in. 2.5 hours later I was back in my car with a brand new alternator. Extremely fast, efficient and professional. We needed engine replacement in my suburban(rod knocking due to oil pump failure). Normally I do all repairs myself, but due to time constraints didnt have time to do it. I dont trust mechanics usually as I have had plenty of bad experiences. We called early Monday morning to get prices for a remanfactured engine. I felt the price was fair and decided to go with Pro-Auto. They kept me up to date with their progress, when the engine came in, and any parts that he felt would be a good idea to replace that were transferred from the old engine. They called Wednesday afternoon saying the truck was ready for pick up. Getting a engine swap completed in two days from initial contact on the phone absolutely astounded me. I have seen plenty of shops take upwards of 1-2 weeks for the same repair. I cant speak highly enough about their professionalism or their work ethic.

I brought my sons car in for a diagnostic check. Mr. Berger was prompt, courteous, professional, and thorough. Well on Monday my transmission went out in my f150 cargo van so I dropped it off at Pro auto car repair on Old Spanish Trail and by Tuesday morning Mr Shawn had a new transmission at the shop they took my old transmission out and installed the new one the same day and at 3:30 that evening I picked up and was back to work. Mr Shawn and his crew are very friendly and they new that I needed that van to get back to work. I would like to thank him and his crew for a job well done . Took my car here today because it broke down almost on the way to Alabama, and these guys got my car fixed within hours so I could keep going. Reasonable price for how many issues the car really had. Took my vehicle in because my a/c was working sometimes and not working at other times. I left my truck there but my a/c was working at the time so the trustworthy staff didn’t just guess the problem and didn’t charge me. Decided to replace my tired and leaky Bronco 351 with a reman. I had been planning and researching this for a couple of years. When I saw the reviews for Pro Auto I knew I had to bring it there. You see my dad was in the service station business for over 20 years and I know what it takes to keep reviews as high as Shawn does. And let me tell you Shawn did not disappoint. Not only was the price very reasonable, it came in far under my budget and a quote I had from a local shop from 2 years ago. They kept me updated on the progress and called if anything outside of the norm needed to be changed. I had requested some work in addition to the engine swap and even this was extremely reasonably priced. Do your self a favor if you ever need anything for your vehicle and give Shawn a call. Ill see them next year to refresh my transmission.

Highly recommended, I brought the truck in on a Friday with a blown engine. Shawn was on top with finding and replacing and I was able to pick up the truck on Thursday. Very easy and quick to work with. No throw in charges, they call when the motor is out and advises you of what parts is no more good and will advise of older parts that should be changed while the engine is being replaced.Only charge for parts and no labor. They immediately put me at ease and let me know a transmission wasn’t the issue. Instead they conducted a fuel injection service and within a few days I was back driving my car and still had money in my pocket. The customer service was also exceptional. They keep me abreast of every decision and asked for permission before changing my air filter. Thank you for your services Pro Engines! I will definitely use them again in the future.

We took my teenagers car in to get diagnosed and Shawn was super helpful and completely up front and honest with us. He gave us a couple of scenarios to work with and detailed the outcome of each scenario.
