Hobby Lobby has so much stuff in there. If someone has Dementia, theres so much activity they can do using their hands. Great for summer time with the kids too. Games, cars and dolls you can put together, flying kits, and all kinds of toys in there. A great place to find birthday, and Christmas presents.I hope you all enjoy shopping there.

Learn your products. Especially if you WORK the dept. You lost a big sale to a competitor. A person working the sewing area should be somewhat knowledgeable. Not here is what we have.

The store was great, but when I went to check out there were two cashiers standing around and one cashier was checking people out, so when I tried to figure out what register the two that were standing around chatting were working on they told me the other cashier was open, which there was a small line. The cashier that was actually working was very friendly, but the other two non-working cashiers were very rude.

Purchased a clock from here, took it home didnt work. Returned to the store, clearly told them it was broke. Watched them refund me and then put it straight back on the floor for sale, at twice the price I paid (no longer in sale). Pointed out to the staff, they shrugged and said thats what we do....knowingly selling broken faulty products!! I suspect this is how they fund there sales, broken goods! Staff just dont seem to care at all that what they are doing is plain and simple wrong!

Worst customer service experience ever. I never am one to right negative reviews but I have never been treated to rudely by anyone in my entire life. The cashier, Terri, was rude the moment I came up to her registered and acted like I was a more of a nuisance than a customer. Would expect more from a Christian owned company.

Hobby lobby is great for getting you in the mood to be crafty but if what you need is not on sale that week you can forget about it being a fair price. Why not price everything at a fair price and avoid the constant sale rotation. Leave the sales for clearance of old stock and overstock? I guess what they are doing works but I know if I want or need somthing not on sale I will wait because I know it will be 40 to 50%less in a week or so. The selection is great.

This place has it all..a one stop shop for DIY decorating. Im amazed how they keep it so clean and organized. People friendly and its just a great store.

Arts and crafts supply store with tools and materials for various hobbies, including model building, painting, and knitting, as well as home décor items. This store was organized as Hobby Lobbys always are, clean as usual, and a lot of the items were on sale for 50% off you definitely cant go wrong with that... and its just such a cute store. Staff is very friendly and will always help you find things all the time!

The atmosphere is pleasant, and I had fun looking at all the items to do my projects.

Hobby Lobby has an excellent selection of a great deal of inventory. I was window shopping. The store was not crowded & there was an adequate number of employees working. I was surprised not one employee welcomed me when I walked in. I thought that was the new norm in the retail industry

For a place I like so much to have such terrible customer service is very disappointing. At least in framing. They will leave you standing there alone for 30 minutes while 3 employees have personal conversations 5 feet away. I thought no way these ladies work in this department. No way theyd just sit there and ignore a customer for 20-30 minutes. I was terribly wrong.I brought in 2 items to be framed and was told it would take a month to get done. Which seemed excessive but okay. I was assured Id recieve a call. A month came and went and I never heard from them. 6 weeks later, when I stopped in to check on it I was told it was on hold waiting for the customer. This stemmed from me walking back to my car to grab a piece that was left behind on the day I dropped it off. Theres NO reason it should have been on hold. So I resolved that (again) and told them to proceed. Then, I was told theyd call me in a week when it was done. This was 3 weeks ago. Now Im standing here 20 minutes later in the store waiting for the customer service rep that just walked off when I got here and said shed be right back with me.Your business isnt valued here in the least. There are local alternatives for framing. Id rather give my money to a local small business who does everything they can to earn my business rather than a national retailer with employees who couldnt care less about it anyway. I suggest you do the same. Its a real shame because when you do get a rep they are very nice and at least appear to want to help. Paula apologized profusely and Im sure it is sincere. But now I will have to make a FOURTH attempt to get my framing?! Months after it should be complete.And I literally walked in with another $200+ framing job that I will absolutely no longer entrust to Hobby Lobby.Oh... My... God... My framing STILL isnt done! Nobody told her I came in 3 weeks ago and told them to proceed! When it never should have been on hold in the first place! Yet where is my recourse? Where is my compensation for pointlessly wasting literally hours of my time chasing Hobby Lobby to get them to do what Im paying them over $300 to do?! Unreal. Im done with HL. Ill never spend another dime in their store.

Nice. I love all Hobby Lobbys but this was my first time visiting this one. They have a wide selection of clearanced items which I am all about. These books in particular were a great deal. I love the music that they play in the store and their bathrooms were very clean.

After many years of working retail as a LP officer or LP manager I know when Im being followed around a store. The kicks part is LP was a tall skinny black gentleman in glasses and a polo shirt. Every aisle I made he was there. I went to replace an airbrush and compressor and felt so annoyed I just left. It was quite obvious everytime I picked up and item he went behind me in such a way was to make sure it wasnt in my pocket. Ill never shop this location again.

Always a great selection and some type of sale going on. As far as plastic models great selection of more popular kits. Not huge but best rather than big box stores. Not what u would find in a smaller dedicated less general store, but the only decent place in Slidell area. Nice selection of other stuff as well. Just make sure to check the weekly sales and get the weekly coupon online to save some $$$. Employees have always been helpful.

Every adventure at this store is a rewarding journey. Basic and simplistic. Staff is Awesome. I love the creative images that flow through my mind. I go in for one project and come out smiling, I always buy something not on my list. Dreamy.

I came for the brand Yarn Bee. I specialize in blankets with unwoven yarn and Hobby Lobby has the brand I like. They were selling it on discount for $1.99, usually $7.99-19.99. I was so excited. Hobby lobby is also great for home decor. Would definitely recommend with their fair prices.

I just moved to New Orleans and absolutely love Hobby Lobby...I went today and the cashier ( lady with glasses) was outright Rude! I asked her about the 50 percent signs and she said Read the Signs with a rude voice. The last behind me said ..Wow..I am 64 and retired and Not a good experience

Good craft supplies

Bought a snow globe, which wasnt in a box, on Wednesday, got it home and it was broke in the bag. Realized they only wrapped it with one thin piece of paper and obviously the glass was very thin. Took it back to exchange the snow globe and they wouldnt take it back, said once it cross the door it wasnt their responsibility. If you dont want it to be your responsibility, then leave it in the box to protect it, or maybe use more of the penny paper you use to wrap and and protect the thin glass from breaking. Spend hundreds of dollars at Hobby Lobby during the year, especially at Christmas time, maybe I will have to rethink going to Hobby Lobby because if $20 doesnt mean that much to them to keep a customer, then my hundreds of dollars shouldnt mean that much either.. Maybe it would be worth the to use more penny paper to make sure your customers make it home with the item in tack.

I love looking around at hobby lobby. Some of thier decor is too pricey, but the hobby stuff is priced pretty good. I prefer to get my hot glue sticks here than at Michaels and I think thier holiday stuff is usually better priced than Michaels too.

The items are awesome, beautiful, great quality and not pricey at all. Love the weekly sales, they switch up every week. Wall hangings, one week then other things the following week all at 50% off and if you go when something isnt on sale you can use your 40% off coupon. You dont lose there.

A lot to chose from. Wish all the staff got on the same page instead of asking 4 different people where just one item was. That was aggravating. Other then that good prices clean store.

I went in tonight and bought $140 worth of stuff to put in my house be/c my house burnt down for hurricane zeta and we are trying to replace everything well one of the things we bought was a big metal cross and my husband forgot it at the bottom of the buggy when we left and we went back and they was closing well the doors was locked already and the manager came to the door and I asked him if anyone had turned it in or if the person who went and got the buggies from the parking lot found it and he said he didnt know to call tomorrow be/c they was closing up and I asked if he could ask the 3 girls standing by the registers if they know and he wouldnt even ask them said nope call tomorrow said we are trying to get out if here which I understand but I dont understand why he couldnt ask the girls so I will never shop here again which I had planned on coming back to get alot more once I close on my house so yall lost my business.

They have a sale every week! I love the jewelry beads and findings. If you like to make jewelry, if its not on sale that week, wait until the next week!

I really really like Hobby Lobby. Ive been crafting all my life back when there was 5 and dime stores and wading on ends of swamps for cattails and drying grains and flowers upside down and sewing on my grandmas pedal machine for clothes for my doll. Also making things out of scraps of woods. HobbyLobby has a bit.of everything for all.

Sales associates do not know their products in the area they are assigned. Fabrics and framing will be the areas in the store, in Slidell, where you will get knowledgeable customer service.

This is my “go-to” craft store. One reason I love this store is because it is a Christian owned store and I like to frequent those types of stores. From the minute you walk in the store, you feel such a peace. They have Christian music playing very softly over the loud speaker and everyone tells you good morning or evening and Welcome. Their cashiers are awesome. They are very friendly and helpful. If you have a question about something, they take the time to either explain it to you or get someone to help you. The products in the store are quality products and their prices are reasonable. You can always get 40% off one regular priced item by pulling it up on your phone. Sometimes, the savings are really big. They always have sales, every single week. I love the fact they are closed on Sundays to give their employe s time to worship with their families. Great store and great prices.

One can find almost any creative product that may be needed for any project here. Prices are high, with sales bringing the prices to a reasonable retail price. Clearance pricing can get you a true sale price but you have to shop hard and often to get real value. But, theres no other place in my area that provides everything in one place. Special orders are no problem. Staff is helpful.

Theres always great deals going on and Ive never had a problem finding exactly what I need and the employees are always super friendly. Downside though... This store will kill your wallet. Not because its expensive but because youll go in for last minute Halloween craft supplies and and the next thing you know youre buying christmas stockings for the whole family and enough decorations to make a Christmas wonderland down South 😂🤷

My daughter is really into the resin crafts, (checkout Youtube) we found a very small section with few supplies. We normally stop here first, but in this case we will continue our search of the other craft stores.

Ive changed this review from 1 to 3 stars because Hobby Lobby honored their mistake and replaced my photos, including framing them properly the second time around. I do appreciate the effort to stand behind their work.Original review is below.-------------------------------------------This review is for the framing dept. The customer service was decent but the condition my framed photos returned in was terrible, after spending over $600 dollars on three frames!1) My photos were scratched and dented.2) The edges of the frames were misaligned.3) Dust was trapped inside the glass.4) The MAT WAS ON BACKWARDS FOR ALL 3 FRAMES!This is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful to the artist who spend time getting quality shots and prints. I will never go to hobby lobby again for framing.

Favorite store

Wish the employees were a bit more knowledgeable on the items in stock had to ask 3 different employees if they carried bug mounting supplies like insect pins and shadow boxes. Was told twice they didnt carry such supplies. Last employee was able to help with the shadow box at least. All the pins were too big. Surprised that a hobby shop wouldnt have such supplies.

The store was very organized and there were plenty of employees on the floor to aid with the rush. There were a few employees - younger men - who did not know how to help, which was frustrating, however a we found a manager to point in the right direction. The product available was of high quality and the black friday sales deals were great.

Checking out the new Christmas stuff was fun.

Love this store. Ive gotten so many beautiful things for my home. Also some books at decent prices. They are well stocked. Only complaints are the long lines. But that is mainly due to so many customers. Friendly and helpful staff!
