Excellent Stock Of Games and Children entertainment

My experience today at Toys R Us, was a most pleasurable one! Interacting with the knowledgeable sales associates was delightful, & fun! Tks again, & Happy Holidays. Look 4ward in the last 2 days B4 Christmas, Joe C.

If I could give this 0 stars i would. I did some Christmas shopping here for my son last night, and my mother came along as well. There was a shelf of Star Wars light sabers marked with clearance stickers on the shelf. I decided to get one. We brought all of our items to the front of the store and waited to check out. My mother checked out first and when she received her receipt she was only given a gift receipt, not an itemized receipt. She asked the cashier if she could get an itemized receipt and the the cashier rudely responded with thats all you get and dismissed her. I was shocked! I knew that with this cashiers attitude this visit was not going to end well. The cashier rang me up and the light saber that was on the clearance shelf did not ring up as if it was on sale. I asked the cashier and she said it showed that it was on sale on her end and to go ahead and swipe my card. Hesitantly I did, and i asked her for my itemized receipt and she gave me one, which did not reflect any sale price (my mother wound up getting her receipt with the help of another associate). I asked her and she had someone check who first told her the item was on sale for $20 (item is regularly $50). She told him to check again and I went back to the shelf where the other associate was and he told her over the walkie-talkie that all the items were in the wrong place. Its not my fault that the item I wanted to buy was stocked in the wrong place. When I went back up to the front the cashier rudely asked me what I was doing. I wanted to know why she told me she could see it was on sale when it wasnt and why I couldnt get it for the price she saw it on sale for. After her raising her voice at me I decided to return it. Ive never in my life had a sales associate be as rude to me as this woman was to me on this occasion, and Ive certainly never had an associate raise their voice at me. I wish I knew her name but she was the only associate not wearing the mandatory name tag. This person is an embarrassment to the company and I am making sure to tell all my family and friends not to shop there. Emailing corporate next.

We love going here for specialty toys and games. If we have any questions, the employees will do everything they can to help us, even if they have to go Google it. We appreciate them going out of their way to make sure we get what we need. If they dont have it, they order it to the store free shipping or right to our home, sometimes with free shipping also. We preorder new videogames here and this is where we get our bikes and big toys for the kids. They bring large items to your car for you, making the process so much smoother.

The customer sales people were extremely nice and helpful today. We made our purchase without any problems.

Good place to take my children so that they can pick what they want. Employees are nice and feiendly. Unfortunately, this location is closing in a few weeks.

As a toy collector I frequent this store to search for exclusives but am always disappointed by their stock. Its like they only stock their shelves quarterly. As for prices, if you can get it some place else, do so. Even their SALE prices are more than Walmarts going rate. The ONLY reason I even give three stars, is because every ToysRUs I have ever been to is always properly staffed with friendly people who are more than happy to help you. In 20 years as a collector I have met ONE rude employee, and that was in a whole other part of the country.

Store is clean, product is mostly well organized even in the semi-chaos of final closing. Not many employees on the floor to help but thats to be expected

Went to see what was on sale since the store is closing. They have great stuff left if you are looking for a a good deal of savings.

I dont mind that they closed down, the workers were rude and even when they discounted items, the items were still expensive. I have honestly bought only 2 items from them my whole life. A rug and a baby doll.

I love Toys R Us because it is convenient for me to go shopping with my grandson and pick out the toys on he likes and I things and I mean and they are very nice and polite in there and I like the coupons that you get when you go shopping in there

Going out of business now is the time to shop for Christmas

Unfortunately, the store had about 1 week left before they closed up permanently, and, the store was in complete disarray, large sections of mostly empty shelves, items in floor, sections of shelves that were full or mostly full were cluttered and in part disorganized, with customers tossing thru bins and shelves without any regard for other customers or employees, and evidently employees either cannot keep up or arent trying to, . . .I always enjoyed going in these stores before, and am extremely sorry to see them going out of business, especially since I moved here in the Bay St. Louis, Ms., area, and this Slidell, La., location is/was about the only one near me ( if you can say 40 miles is near!!! as opposed to several locations in the Dallas Tx. area I lived in before - not that that matters any more, either! ), I hope they find a way to reopen later, and hopefully with more locations in my area, . . .

Older location, not very big. Half of the staff are very helpful and courteous.... the other half... extremely rude.

My lil one and I enjoyed Toy r us. They a great selections toy at great prices.

Nice place to bring your kids, very empty and lots of room to play. Its was nice of them to remove all of those super expensive star wars toys that noone wanted and give all the kids sooooo much room to play. Its allmost feels like they closed down or something 🤔🤔🤔

Has great deals if you look for them but super quite will not be thier to much longer Im surr

I just called to speak with a hiring manager and someone named Tracey answered and was very rude it took her 5 minutes to answer the phone and she hung up in my face! Im interested in employee with the company but not if I have to deal with rude people like that

Bought my son a power wheels for Xmas. They sold us one that was missing a wheel. Thanks! Now I have to explain how santas going to fix it.

Great staff always willing to help, but the out side could use some sprucing up

THis place is truly and honestly just unattractive and disorganized as heck. 90% of employees were standing around doing nothing while we waited in line and finally one of them yelled across if someone could open a second register. So many boxes and trash around the place. Not even busy at all.

Awesome selection of games, toys, bikes, baby gear, and video games. They also do weekly free events for kids.

Clean store. They are closing this location so I was able to take advantage of the discount they have

Amazingly fast and not crowded. Prices are 10-20%higher.

Worst place ever! Dont know how they treat locals, but they wasnt very helpful to out of town people. Floor workers and cashers are all the same, no help, no greeting and no smiles or communication what so ever. We dont have a toy R us, maybe that is why, no service, GOOD SERVICE!

Service was absolutely terrible. Was told to drive around back to back of store to pick up bike.....after calling store multiple times and no one answering my wife walked to front to tell someone and in mean time a guy opened back door and disappeared. Another 5 minutes goes by so I walk into back of store and to my surprise no one is looking for the bicycle I purchased. The girl who Checked me out never told anyone to bring bicycle to back of store.....

Everything a growing kid needs and wants...... A parent with a no limit card!

While I did have a couple of, unsatisfactory visits, having shopped there A LOT over the years, the average number of good experiences were way higher than bad ones.

Cashier very kind the manager on duty on the other hand sunday 7/9/17 at 2:30 pm was very rude and cut me off as I was explaining a price difference turned away and went on to do something else therefore I will not be making any purchases at Toys R Us on Airport Road
