Not to clean, overall store needs an upgrade and was not well stocked I know we just had a storm, but thats been almost a month ago and I have been in this particular store before needs to be better..

Cashier was scanning all our items twice. We asked that he begin over and he refused. We took Our items to another line. Horrible service. There are a few ppl in this store with amazing attitudes. We only use this store when we need to pick up a few items.

I love this store, they have everything from Sushi to Freshly hot boil Seafood, potatoes, corn and carrots set out for lunch time. And their Deli is remarkable. I purchase a lot of the store off brand which is the super store brand instead of Market known products. The store is so awesome.

I regularly shop the rouses on gause close to the interstate and the one close to front Street. The two stores are markedly different in quality of the store appearance and variety of products. The store near the interstate consistently has fully stocked shelves and a much better variety of products. additionally the lighting in many of the reach-in cooler and freezer displays at the store on front Street are burned out and have been out for months. Hopefully someone in management will review this and take action.

Clean and well stocked..can get in and out quickly as well. Friendly atmosphere. Food is from local growers and vendors.

Clean and orderly store. Prices are high, but what regular grocery store doesnt have high prices? There are some good sales scattered around. The customer service was adequate. Not cheerful, though.

My favorite shopping market. Reliable, decent prices and stock availability. Good Louisiana place to shop. Meats, sausages, seafood, can goods, breads. It’s all there. No pandemic shortages

Employees are nice and helpful. Their groceries are a little more expensive.

Good fruit and veggies. Picked up a half dozen bottles of Rouses Peach hot sauce for my step daughter. She loves the stuff but lives in Tampa now.

Reasonable Prices they have good crawfish when in season. They have hot plates as well check them out.

Store is hard to shop, employees dont reall know item locations. Checkers cold and act like they hate being there.

Being as Im from north of the Mason Dixon line, nice grocery store, picked up a bit of pastrami hope it tastes good. Update to follow later 🤞

Great deli, boiled crawfish, produce. Just a little smaller than larger one on Gause by I-10.

This Rouses feels more like piggly wiggly than other ones. It needs updating and looks run down comparatively.

Best quality food and local louisiana specialties. Found no place else. Love it

It’s just so dirty. Defrosted rotten bags of shrimp that were once frozen. Rotten produce. I just don’t get it, it’s like Rouses corporate just forgot to take care of this location. Not good.

Seems like Rouses carries more of their brand name then others, some products were not stocked and not alot of choices, I usually Like going to roused, but this particular store was lacking

Walmart, Rouses across town and Winn Dixie are more organized than this Rouses store. It looks and feels like an old thrift store. I stop here only if I need a few items because its enroute to my home from work.

I really love Rouses the variety they have is so much better.

The store is very dirty. There is so much dust on the air vents and air returns it is hanging from the celing...OVER THE DELI. It is okay for a store to be older or a little outdated but no excuse for how dirty it is. I cant imagine how they have passed a health inspection.

I learned no grocery store had what I was looking for, I settled for a split turkey. The butcher at Rouses took a few minutes to get that order for me. It was nice of him to do that during his busy day keeping up with his normal routine.

I lived in Slidell from 1991 to 1999 and have not been here since it was an Albertsons. Rouses would do wrong to spend some money towards making this a pleasant shopping experience from the looks perspective. The place looks dirty unkempt the carts are all beat up the floor is scuffed. The choice on fresh produce is limited altogether and overall just a blah experience. It doesnt take much to make you feel good about shopping for food except a dirty and unkempt store....

Im handicapped and have 1-1/2 legs. When I got out of my vehicle I had the cartman ask me not only did I need help but would I like for him to get me a cart to which I said yes. He brought me the cart and then asked if I would need help loading my groceries. I told him no that I just only picking up only a few things. Upon leaving the store I saw the same youngman who said to not worry about the cart that he would return it for me. Upon asking his name he tod me it was John. He told me he started watching out for handicapped people who need help after seeing someone fall and would take care of them.

Way overpriced. A bag of KitKat at rouses $5.99, at a competitor $2.50. Same pricing issues with many items. Especially meats. I understand the reasoning, but be reasonable. I want to give you the business, cant afford to.

Cool place lot of neat stuff you dont find any where else Louisiana owner operator and loved also they have a hell of a wine selection, Meat Market, Seafood, candy...

When my Marine comes home on leave he always asks for a king cake. No matter the season, Rouses is the perfect one everytime.

It is a smaller Rouses but good for a quick run.

Absolutely love the layout of the store and the helpfulness of the employees. I would actually do all of my grocery shopping here especially because its a local company and I like to support local businesses except that their prices are just simply higher than Walmart. they are better than Walmart on some items and if things are on sale but in general they are higher. Shop wisely! I will say that their alcohol selection is the best in town in my opinion especially for beer.

I went in to grab some flowers wine& cheese for a date night the establishment is clean with a friendly staff.

My first time there was very good, the cashier was not only friendly but helpful. I would recommend it to any and all.

I have been here a few different times and it is a great store. Staff is friendly. The store is always clean and organized. Fair prices for some things. Some things are cheaper elsewhere. Just depends. All in all, it’s a very pleasant experience.

As a transplant from Central New York, the one thing I miss is good cheese and specifically cheese curds.... I found some today!!! I am one very happy girl. I hope they keep getting them, but today is the first time I have seen them and they couldnt tell me if they would keep them, but today I am happy.

This grocery store stocks only basic items. The interior looks like it will close soon. There are few buggies. One whole wall of freezer space is closed as is the seafood and speciality meat counter.
