Tech services at Staples in Smithfield is absolutely stellar! The hard drive on my laptop died. Tech Justin took care of everything for me. He retrieved all my files off the failed hard drive (he and the other techs stuck with the data transfer for 3 days as my old hard drive kept crashing), and set me up with a great new laptop that was all set up and ready to go when I picked it up!

Great deal on HP all in one printer, employee was very helpful and straightforward, I actually went to several stores before Staples that had no printers in stock !Im glad I ended up here, I got a great deal.

Ordered item online to be delivered. There days later they say item was never in stock making me miss opportunity to order else where at same discounted rate. Try to have me purchase similar item at double the price. Poor customer service. Poor help. Nothing is worth purchasing in the store as almost everything is much cheaper to purchase online.

I was looking for a very specific product. They brought me right to it, but after purchasing it, it turned out to be the wrong one. They didnt have the one I needed in stock in the store. They ordered the one I needed, and arranged for it to be shipped to my house at no extra charge, and it turned out to be half the cost. They processed the return flawlessly. The whole time, all the staff I spoke to were kind and helpful. Great store, great staff!

Doris and the crew in the copy center are very knowledgeable and professional. I am in at least 4 times a month with complicated print orders and the team get them right, with a smile, every time. Very blessed to have this store right around the corner. You save me time and aggravation. Thank you very much.

I had to get 20 packets, each containing between 40-60 pages, bound and delivered to the Senior VP of my company within 3 hours. I stopped at the Staples in Smithfield Crossing and was greeted nicely by the associates in the store. I presented them with my dilemma and they said it would be no problem at all! Within 1.5 hours the packers were done and I had them in the VPs hands with time to spare! This Staples saved my tail today and hopefully someone in the same situation sees this review so they can rest assured knowing this business is prompt and professional.

Definitely not customer friendly. Doors open at 8am sharp not even 1 min before even though the doors are unlocked. employees are rude and could care less about customer satisfaction. Worst experience ever. If I could give a negative star I would.

They have everything you need to run a business. Staff is very helpful and if they are out of stock on an item, they will order it for you. Love Staples.

Yesterday my daughter and I stopped at Smithfield Staples to purchase a printer. The Manager, Peter, helped us to find what we needed. I am so impressed at this Manager! He not only found the perfect one, but he explained how to use it, things we never knew! And although he had a lot of customers he helped each one, with a big smile on his face, and is the best multi tasker Ive ever seen, because his employees were also asking him questions and things as he help us. A great personality-he reminded us of a Doctor! Thank you Peter for your help, professionalism, and expertise! We will never shop anywhere but at your store again!

Walked around the store for more than 15 mins before I made it back to the front store, before the CASHIER asked me if I needed any help. Its Staples standard is to greet us customers under 10 mins? Plus yall just sell junk and old technology! Yall dont even sell smart plugs in store.

If you Like to Drop your Packages Off, and Have them Stolen and Not shipped-And Find Out a Week later-This is your Place! How Hard is it?. Drop Packages Off, UPS Picks Up, And it goes Out??.. I understand -things get Lost in transit-But your Package isnt even guaranteed to be held and Picked Up properly. It Either the Store or the UPS Pickup. 300$ Plus Package. Stolen. Will never Go there again.

This location is really bad, their staff are entitled and lazy and every time Ive been in they are literally leaning on equipment that they are supposed to be selling. The print shop is useless and they will consistently tell customers they cant print your order because they rent the machines from Xerox when the reality is they are just lazy.Incompetence is the most prominent thing on display at Staples, its no wonder they are closing locations nationwide.

Ruined 3 brand new work related large posters. Dont laminate there. Copies are fine. Posters have to be reshipped with additional charges to replace. They said we cant help you now, we send out an email and let you know what corporate says. These posters were for business meeting this week. They tried to print out and laminate from a file on line at half the size of my original posters and the laminate machine rippled those as well. To replace the new material I brought into staples will cost me more than I had originally paid because site price is higher and there will be additional shipping costs. Lastly all 3 posters went through without anyone noticing the first one came out damaged. So all 3 damaged and un- repairable. So now I have small blurry wavy and large version of wrinkled, creased and bubbled posters for an important presentation to investors. I actually called ahead of time to make sure they could laminate gloss posters they said yes at staples Smithfield ri. So now I wait to see what they say via email.... Time will tell

Jordan at the tech department was dismissive and did not seem interested in helping me at all. I had called the night before to have them hold an iPhone screen for me so that I could replace it the following day. When I arrived the next morning, he told me it would be at least two hours because he had stuff to do not knowing that I had called a few other stores all of whom said it only takes one hour. When I told him I didnt have 2 hours he just shrugged and told me to do what I needed to do. That turned me off from ever doing business at this store again. The manager of this store needs to teach Jordan some basic customer service skills. Had he been the last bit nicer or apologized for the wait time, I would have gladly given my business. Instead I traveled on my work break for nothing but a bad customer experience.

Unhelpful and confused staff. None of the furniture listed on the website as 1 hour pick-up is actually available in the store. Dont waste your time here unless youre looking for something simple like a pencil.

Amazingly friendly manager... on a busy day before back to school the store manager helped us find a lot of things, as we were a first time school shoppers.
