I am disgusted by this hair salon. I went there last Sunday for a hair cut and a had a picture to show what I was looking for. I clearly told her, the place owner, (Mira?) that I cannot have a hair too short because I have some spots with thin hair. Seems like she did on purpose to cut my hair so short that seems like I went to a barber shop.My hair was shoulder length and I asked for it short on the back to the length of my shin. On one side my scalp is about 2in exposed. I was ashamed to go to work Monday.The anti-professionalism doesnt stop there. When she came to cut my hair, she started dishing the client who just left because the 3y old boy did not behaved during his hair cut. She criticized the way the mom was raising the kid, and that she was using an excuse because the boy had ADD. I was very uncomfortable with her comments. Them, she told me I should not use fake jewelry because I had a green line on my neck. It was from the cord holding my reading glasses. She looked at my wedding rings and made a comment that fake rings will also leave a green mark on my fingers. I was appalled by her audacity with a first time client, and I regret not leaving before she destroyed my hair.

The owner did both my hair and my daughters and we came out looking FAMOUS! I highly recommend Amira and Cute Cuts!

When I brought my 2 year old son here for his first pro haircut, I wasnt sure how he would do. Elijah and his wife made it easier then I could ever believe. They are well equipped(toys, fun atmosphere) for kids haircuts and they made me and my son feel at home.

Be forthright about prices, explain what’s being charged when checking out. Be careful to understand your customers requests regarding their hair prior to taking action and don’t take liberty to go beyond the request which is explicitly described by patrons. I would not recommend this salon. I tried to be direct by reaching out to the owner privately via Facebook message about my disappointment and dissatisfaction with results to seek a potential fix while avoiding a public negative review ..but I got no response and therefore am leaving the poor review. Had I known the prices of this salon (which weren’t visible and not verbalized neither itemized in description upon check-out) I’d much rather visit a luxury salon in the heart of Nashville where I at least could get my money’s worth and be happy with the result. I left with only feeling exploited and super unhappy with my hair. >300$ for highlights where I explicitly said “I want absolutely zero warm blonde tones and want to lift the warmth by going ash/cool blonde” my hair now looks more yellow and warm than prior to arriving at the salon; I specified “I only want about 1-1.5 inches of hair trimmed”, the owner cut off about three inches of my hair, gave me bangs which I said I do not keep bangs and then proceeded to style my hair with a curling iron when I said I do not want nor usually style my hair and I’m sure I was charged for that as well. The owner was nice at first but her demeanor changed right at check out and I felt pressured and exploited. 0/10 recommend and hopefully the owner takes this seriously because they didn’t respond to my cordial attempt to address my concerns privately.

Asked for a bright red and got a purple so dark it looks black... Im getting married and dont have time to come back for her to fix it, nor do I want her touching my hair anymore. She is the owner of the store and her name is Mira. The hair cut is fine and was the first step she took. She then bleached my hair, again fine. Then she put the dye in at least an inch away from my hair onto my skin with not even vaseline to protect my skin. Left it on my hair and skin for OVER AN HOUR. I asked if we could wash it off and was told Just a few more minutes since she was with another customer and then proceeded to wait 20 more minutes (to equal an hour and some odd minutes). She washed my hair and forehead at least 4 times, trying to get the stain off.When I saw the color I let her know I was not pleased at all with it and that it wasnt what I asked for and was told I could come back in a few days if I didnt like so I could get it fixed and I told her I do not have time because I work full time. I dont like to be confrontational so I paid and left. After thinking about it I turned around and went back. I told her calmly that I would like a refund for the color because I wasnt happy and did not receive what I asked for. She refused and told me she wasnt wrong. I told her I wanted to pay for the cut and style but I wanted the money back for the color and still she refused and became childish. I didnt want to deal with her anymore so I left and am currently trying to dispute it with the bank.TLDR: She messed up the color in a big way, do not go to Mira (the owner) for color.

I brought my two year old son here for a long awaited haircut since the shutdown and was very happy with how they handled my son even as he became a little antsy.They have a special sit-in car seat for children and plenty of toys to keep him busy and when he got a little irritable they worked as a duo to keep him distracted from the haircut. His hair came out looking great, he went from mop top to real boy again.Super polite and professional; a local business. Consider Cute Cuts next time before going to a major chain. Small business needs its local populations support now more than ever, not all were supported like the bigger companies through this situation.

Amira did an amazing job! My hair was originally red, then I got navy blue instead. She layered it then curled it for me to see what it would look like curled which looks beautiful! I took my 2 year old son for a haircut and she was great. I must add that my son is not easy to cut but she was patient and kind to my son. Also, I took my 85 year old mother in for a wash and set. My mom can be very picky and somewhat difficult too, nut she left very satisfied.

Wow. I don’t live here in Smyrna. I’m working here for a little while. It’s so hot today and I decided I needed a shorter hair style. I googled hair cuts and found this salon with great reviews. Well I see why!! I walked in and asked if she had time for a shampoo, cut and style. She said: sure what do you want? I told her. This is one of the best short hair styles I have ever had. Thought I would go in and get a trim, but I took the pictures with me that I had of some hairstyles that I liked. When I visited other salons I would show the pictures to them, but I would always leave with the same hair cut I went in with, but Amira actually listened to me describe the the type of hair style that I wanted and I finally got. It is nice to finally have someone that not just listened to what I wanted, but actually gave me the style I wanted. Rarely do I post. I put this off for 2 weeks. I asked for an angle trim. Stating trim only as I had grown my hair out for 5 years. She cut 4 inches straight across. The sides were so chopped I had to get another salon to help. I wanted mainly all blonde, I got mainly brown and 2_3 inches near my scalp were never colored. I dare not say anything because I didnt want her to cut anymore off. The salon I went to next could not believe how badly it was cut. I cannot wear it anyway but straight because its so short . The lady was nice though but the price and job I got was horrible.

Very nice hair stylist and very nice hair cut. I have long thick hair and asked for quite a bit to be cut and layered. I had a picture to show and it was exact to the picture except for one detail, that i wanted my bangs not cut, but I feel I should’ve been more specific. Otherwise a very beautiful cut and style!

Nice people but she does what she wants. I told her an inch she took 3, I showed her a picture of blonde almost white hair and I ended up leaving with brassy hair not a even cut just all around not good. Don’t suggest it and for the worst hair color I’ve ever ever gotten it cost me 220 don’t EVER go here. If u like your hair and don’t want it destroyed because she sure will.

I went in today to get my eyebrows threaded but also left with a haircut and product! Its funny, I am very weary about who cuts my hair but after she finished my eyebrows and I saw how good they looked, i knew she was talented at her profession. So I asked for a cut as well. I got a little trim and layers added and I am SO HAPPY with how it turned out. She even curled it for me! Then she recommended a shampoo and conditioner and I was happy to purchase it because by the end, I knew she was somebody I could trust. I will definitely be going back!

Amira is the first Stylist ever to cut my very curly long hair the right way; dry cut. The second cut was done wet and I did not have positive, even results. She was happy to go back and revise that second cut on dry hair which helped and did not charge extra to fix it.

Took my 3yr old to have his hair cut We have taken him several times to other places and have never gotten a decent quality cut. The former stylists have left my son with choppy uneven hair. Amira simply listened to me, I just want a little boy hair cut that will work with the way his hair grows. 15 minutes later a happy mom left with a happy kid, who was high-fiving his stylist. We will all be back.

Clean shop and sweet staff. The prices are clear and economical however the end product did not leave up to expectations of the previous post. Scheduled an appointment for a wash & cut, and it took about 40mins total.

Today there was no waiting but if you have to wait it is worth it. They really know how to cut hair. They cut my 11 year old son too. This is way better than going to super cuts or one of those places.

Worst cut I have ever gotten. My sister and my mom also got their hair done. The price was too expensive. My mom got a horrible job done. She has curly hair and she had it cut wet. And with my sister and I we wanted to get our hair thinned out a bit but our hair is sooo uneven. Our hair is not growing as fast it used to. It became so dry and frizzy. The cut wasnt how it was supposed to be. The price was NOT worth what we got done on us. I do not recommend this place at all.

I was needing my hair cut last minute for an event I’d be attending tomorrow. I found cute cuts on Facebook. I contacted them and they were able to get me before a scheduled appointment she was waiting on. As soon as I entered the shop Amira greeted me. She was super friendly and didn’t mind my two little ones running around. I told her what I wanted and she went above and beyond. The whole time she made sure what she was doing was what I wanted. It was the best experience I’ve had with someone doing my hair. She was also able to recommend products that I think will work very well for myself. I will definitely be back for other services and products.

Amira cut and conditioned my hair. She listens to what you say and does a very good job. At first I didnt like my bangs and I showed her a pic of what I was expecting and she fixed them right. She spent alot of time styling it to perfection. I will definitely be going back. I read her reviews on here and that is what got me to try her shop. I was going to do the group on coupon but she said she would just give me the advertised price in the shop. Give her a try you wont be disappointed!😃

I had an appointment for 10. Nobody showed up til 1015. When I got inside the stylist said she would start with someone else. He was kind enough to point out that I had been here first. I had scheduled a shampoo and a cut. There was NO shampoo, she didnt even wet my hair til we were 2/3 of the way done. She did NOT cut my hair like the picture I showed her and she just kept cutting MORE AND MORE hair off til it was way shorter than what I asked for. Then she asked if I wanted bangs. I said no. She asked if I wante more layers in the back. I said no. So what does she do? Starts cutting more layers in the back! Then she starts blowdrying my DRY hair. It was SMOKING. Itold her to stop. She asked why. I said, BECAUSE MY HAIR IS SMOKING. She acted like this was normal and said its just the oil in my hair. I told her to stop. She did...for about 2 minutes. Then she started soaking my hair with the squirt bottle and attempted to blow dry it AGAIN! I finally had enough and told her I was done. I will not be coming back. The stylist seemed like she was in a rush, she clearly doesnt listen and honor peoples wishes or appointments. Horrible. Now I will have to grow this haircut out and go somewhere else to get it fixed.

ASK PRICES FIRST!!! Also, ask what shes doing before she does it, I apparently got a conditioning treatment I didnt even know about until it was posted on her Facebook page. Do not leave a review before you are completely finished! I went in and got color, PARTIAL foil, cut, shampoo and conditioner(40 bucks for both but its just bed head brand) and a tip and was charged THREE hundred dollars!!! You will be pressured to leave a great review the whole time and what youre going to say and to leave it before youre even at the wash sink. She is nice and my cut is cute... but my color or experience was not worth THREE hundred dollars!
