The absolute worst customer service. The owner sold the SAME gun TWICE. He also thought it was appropriate to curse at my mother. Terrible business I can not fathom how he has been in service this long.

Great shop, Ive done multiple transfers here and prior to Covid they had plenty of stock, but thats how things go, they still have a nice little selection though. Transfer fee is $30 and shop owner is a good guy, I always give a call before my order gets there to give him a heads up and he calls me shortly after my order is delivered.

I love to support a small business, and shop local. My husband and I purchased a gun in Maryland, and had it transferred here to do the paperwork and pick up. It arrived to Smyrna Sporting goods in 1/28/21, and we got no phone call that it was in. On 2/1/21 my husband called there, and was told the gun was not there. I called the store we purchased it from, and they gave me the tracking information. I called Smyrna Sporting Goods back, and spoke to a rude and nasty man. It is such a same to see a business like this give such poor customer service, and not even care. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Worst experience ever was told my transfer was on delay for over 7 days

I thought this place was ok at first, but after the third visit I changed my mind. I previously ordered two and had them shipped there, did the back ground check, no issues. The third visit things went down hill from there.I ordered another gun had it shipped there as I did the first two times. When it came to the back ground check, I forgot to include my SSN on the form. The person on the phone from the FBI background check agency asked him for the SSN, and he the stated (none given). I asked him if I needed to write it down and he said NO. Well I was delayed and got denied later.I called the and talked to some one from the agency, and she said it was because of the information given or not given, and that is was best if gave my SSN, that help distinguish me from someone else.I ordered another gun and had it shipped there, thinking I would go back there fill out the paperwork using my SSN number, and it would be ok. Well I was wrong, because he refused to let me do the paperwork and run the back ground check again.I knew it was something wrong, because Ive bought 3 guns since then (from other FFL dealers). And he still have my guns (if the crook havent sold them).I was talking to someone about this location, and they said they can believe he did it on purpose, because of some things he has done in the past.

Went looking for a my first shot gun here and a few other places. This is by far the friendliest place and everyone in there is a healing hand. If the staff is busy there is always someone in there helping out with advise. Also keep in mind that they want the best for you and advised me not to buy a gun from there if it wasnt want I exactly needed and helped point me in the right direction.

I love checking out the hunting and knife sections there. The Shed Knives models are really great and affordable as well. Smyrna Sporting Goods also has a great selection of hunting jackets.

I just recently purchased a firearm from this store, and the owner was very helpful. He was knowledgeable, and very courteous. I plan to get a firearm for my wife soon, and will more than likely go back to this same shop.

Ive been buying guns here since I was a kid. Its been a staple of the community for decades. I try to give them as much as my gun business as I can. They can handle all your FFL transfers there as well.

Customer service is bad. Whenever you call them they seem so agitated that your calling them and says call back again the next day.

Nice store. Had a gun shipped there and owner of nice, friendly and professional. Prices are reasonable. I would buy from there again.

I just bought a Bersa 380. I have been looking for one for some time.. and have called around.. I was very happy to hear that they had some..the store has more to choose from than others bigger than they are... a very good experience. And great service.. will buy from them again..

I tried buying a gun and was denied before I was even finished filling out my paperwork. Someone else, that I did NOT KNOW, tried buying the same gun and was denied. I was told there were too many coincedences and that I could not be sold the gun. I was paying cash, provided both my drivers license AND military id card, have no convictions or anything and was still told no. I drove all the way from Newark because I was told this was the best place to buy a gun for the best prices but, From now on I will go somewhere else first.

If youre a hunter, any type of Hunter and you want to flavor of the local atmosphere stop, into Smyrna Sporting Goods . A couple of great guys will help you pick out the right shotgun, handgun or just talk about hunting experiences theyve had. Even if its just a rainy day on a Saturday its great place to stop in and hang out for an hour.

Its like taking a step back in time. Where even the staff is part of the tapestry. A little rough around the edges, but the group is helpful and knowledgeable.

Good place in town, nice people the only way they turn you down is if you have a felony in your records other than that the aproval by Del state police and FBI is quick, I was aproved right away just 10 minutes.

Called inquiring about H& R 20 guage if they had any first phone call they picked up bout thirty seconds later hung up ! I called back dont know who answered but they seemed agitated I called ! Got told they dont make them any more havent for years ! I know this ! Seemed awful rude my opinion!

Used to buy reloading components here, but when the craze went down a few years ago the price gouged something awful. Havent been back.
