Lived here for a bit and love it

My grandparents have lived here since 2012 and we love visiting them and the community because its so beautiful. The grounds are always well kept and the clubhouse is an awesome place to have celebrations. There always seems to be a beautiful breeze blowing in the wind - maybe because its not very far to the beach idk but I love it.

My parents have lived in this 55+ community for quite some time now and have very much enjoyed their stay so far, so I thought Id write a review for them. My mother isnt too good with technology but she speaks very highly of the community. Bon Ayre is a very quiet and friendly community, and they have had several friendly encounters with their neighbors. The lady in the office is also super nice and always willing to help with any questions they might have, I believe her name is Terry. The area is very convenient for all of us considering I live right down the road from them, in town. They are also near several shopping centers and their doctors office which is only 5 min away, in the town. My mother prefers to get her groceries at the Food Lion which is also 5 min away, but they are building an ALDI down the street which she is very excited about. Smyrna is a great area overall, a town with lots of charm and history. I would definitely recommend to anyone 55 and older looking for a home in the area. If I didnt already have a house of my own in Smyrna, I would have looked into getting a house here myself.

My brother used to live here and its a very nice place. Its peaceful and quiet. He had the best neighbors.

Love living here

Great location close to adult daycare, grocery stores, restaurants, a lot of Doctors offices including a 24 hour emergency facility and churches. Staff is friendly and helpful. Smyrna is close to the beaches, quieter and safer than Dover.

While the community and I mean the residents are very nice and they are the ones that makes this community desirable the sales person and the management are extremely unfriendly and be careful of the rent increases. make sure you get the full Delaware discloser booklet that is required 14 days in advance of signing a lease. Which is Delaware law. rating the place 10 being high and 1 being worse. I would say the residents rate a 10 and management rates a 2 at best.

Nice 50 and over community. On site manager is Great. Her word is golden. Great job Ter.

Convenient location close to everything including shopping. Friendly people.

I service a few customers here. I do their lawn mowing, bed weeding, bed mulching, and home power washing .
