Greg has been such a breath of fresh air in my cycling journey! He is extremely knowledgeable, but doesn’t talk over your head. He respects if you ride for fun or are an elite rider. Not only can he fix your bike, he helped make recommendations for my kit and routes too! Greg got my gears shifting smooth again and was a lifesaver when I got my first flat (nail in the tire) and needed a new tube AND tire. Instead of missing my ride that day I made a quick run to Snohomish and was back in the saddle in no time! Greg is easy to work with and it’s obvious he sincerely enjoys what he does and getting to share that with people. His shop is clean and organized; with all the gadgets and tools to have your bike in its best shape for a comfortable weekend ride or your next race. My wife and I got derailed from our tour when I got a flat. Fortunately, we were only half a mile from La Volupte. Greg was super helpful and patched up the tire in no time and was incredibly friendly and pleasant to deal with.

Greg saved our maiden voyage!We went to Snohomish to ride the Centennial Trail with our used/new bikes. We had not been biking as a family in years. But when we got there, I managed to deflate my husbands tire instead of inflating it (different type of valve than we were used to), I had a loose brake pad, and my sons brake cables had somehow pulled loose during the drive.The only bike shop in walking distance was Gregs, so off we went.La Volupté is an impeccable little shop in Gregs garage. Theres no sign, so make sure you call ahead. Greg was in transit when we called (wed had a little mixup with the phone and thought he was there), but thanks to his wife, Aundra, we were able to get two bikes on the road and go to dinner. Just as we were finishing our meal, Greg called and said the other bike was done. He felt bad about the phone mixup, which really was no big deal. But he insisted on fixing the bike with no charge.Thanks to Greg and Aundra, we had our first bike outing in a very long time and it was glorious.Greg offers bike fittings for comfort, injury prevention and aerodynamics, professional consultations on everything cycling, and it looks like hell get back to offering tours and training soon.Well be back.
