Wow, normally good service, NOT TODAY. I decided to call ahead today to see if they had parts I needed. A nice gentleman answered the phone professionally, asked what department I needed I stated parts, about 60 seconds later another person got on asking who you holding for I again stated parts he then placed me on hold again without saying anything. Another 45 seconds later a gal named Vicky answered. I then proceeded to ask her for the part/kit I need to complete a service on my mower because their service department is backed up 5 months, she rudely stated we dont have kits. Already frustrated having to do the service myself I just hung up. It didnt seem she wanted to help me at all. No questions on what I was up to and or how she could further the phone call. Extremely disappointed as to this is the only John Deere dealership within 50 MI. Amazon here I come, at least I dont get any flack and we all know Amazon is less expensive. Wanted to keep my money local but....Two stars are because I normally receive good service here after everyone is done staring at me.

Purchased a $4000 mower from this local business within the last year. I called to schedule a service appointment for something broken on my mower, and they say the soonest they can get to me is 8 weeks. OK COOL. I guess I just wont mow my lawn for 2 months?! Super glad I decided to support this local business? Home Depot would have helped me out way sooner than 8 weeks.

They were slow, sloppy, and overpriced. They had my tractor in for service, less than 20 hours of operation time ago. At that time I paid them for full service, preventative maintenance, oil change and all. Now, when a serious transmission hydraulic leak occurred, they inform me that it was not going to be covered under any warranty and that it took them 3 hours to diagnose, plus cost to repair. I do not recommend using Pape` Machinery in Snohomish Washington, for any service or repair.

I have to say Vicki that works in the parts department Went above and beyond to help locate our parts. My 24 year old autistic son who is obsessed with mowing our yard was not going to have a good day without the new parts. She tore through 30 boxes to find them instead of making us come back the next day after they inventoried all 30 boxes. Its employees like this that Shine. Thank You Vicki

Terrible. bought new blades and timing belt I installed both, only needed service to set timing, est. 1 hr labor. They threw out new belt and blades installed new, 2 hours labor quoting john deere policy. retrieved new belt and blades from garbage, paid $456. There is more but not enough room.

Called ahead to see if they had the parts I needed. Said they had nine. Went to store and waited over 30 minutes in line with only one person ahead of me. Finally I was helped but they said they couldn’t find the parts (even though there was nine on their computer). There is an hour and a half that I just wasted on my day off.

All of my equipment and purchases were kept on file with Washington Tractor. After Pape took over the information was deleted. This makes purchasing the proper maintenance parts difficult at best. I will just order parts on line. Washington tractor has lost my business.

Professional parts, sales and services for STIHL power equipment. I love my chainsaw and weed eater, and soon a blower. STIHL power equipment is the best; not cheap, but you get what you pay for and wont regret it. This is the place to go for it.

Very expensive, service is slow and ineffective. Next time not getting a deere. Make sure you get a quote in writing or you will be sorry. Quoted price shot up twice for exact same work. Original quote was $250 for labor, they would not honor that. Then we agreed to $550. because they already took it apart and spent more time to analyze problem then agreed to then needed or agreed to I let them fix it for a hard fixed price off $550. When I went to pick it up they tried to charge over $750. They did not even complete the work we agreed to. We insisted that they replace all of the parts John Deere tells you to replace when doing this work. Now I am stuck with a old already failed once pressure regulator. The only good thing is that when it fails I will have proof of how long it takes me to fix it. But not happy. I want a shop I can trust. This is not it.

I have always purchase parts for my John Deere Gator from Washington Tractor instead of online. There prices were always competitive with online retailers like Green Parts Store or Amazon. Today I was very disappointed, since switching to Pape machinery, prices have changed beware!. I priced out all parts for new brakes and rear rotors from Green parts store $428.78 and free shipping. After ordering the same parts from Pape Machinery Snohomish the parts were $575.21 a 25% difference in price. Pape Charged $5.03 for a Washer that cost less than a dollar online. My recommendation is price check items before ordering from Pape. The one good things is they still have the same great people working behind the desk, it is obvious they are frustrated by the changes and new company ownership too.

These guys are great! I needed to upgrade my lawn mower to handle my new yard. When I reached out by email Jon got back to me right away and we setup a time to come in and look at the different John Deere models. Jon showed me the different models and features and let me test drive a couple different mowers. Once the right model was selected we picked out the options I wanted and worked out a trade on my old JD mower. Couldnt have been easier, great guy to work with. Fast forward one month and I have a problem with my new John Deere x590 not wanting to start. Emailed Jon on a Sunday assuming he would get back to me Monday, nope he responded right away on Sunday and helped me troubleshoot the problem. Once determined it needed the service department to repair he had Brandon work with me and get my new mower fixed. Now it always sucks to have something new break, but how it is handled and fixed speaks volumes. These guys are great, picked the mower up, fixed it and returned to me the next day. Awesome service! Thank you and couldnt be happier that I purchased my new mower from Washington Tractor in Snohomish.

I called Washington Tractor, parts Dept. 4/13/20, at 8 am. Was put on. Hold for 20+ min waiting for. Jim to look up a part. Hung up called back o ly to be told by Jim that hed had many calls. Didnt bother to let me know. Just let me wait. Washington Tractor needs a parts man that understands customer service. Very very poor. Service at present.

After two very useful telephone calls to parts and service department I was impressed by their knowledge and willingness to help me restore my older JD lawn tractor. I sent the John Deere D105 tractor in for the Service Special in late November. While removing the blades on the mower deck the service department broke the deck. It will now cost between $600-$800 dollars to get the mower back in the same condition it was sent in to Washington Tractor. I have been working with them to resolve this issue and recently contacted John Deere corporate since they are taking no responsibility for the technicians work. I have indicated repeatedly I would be happy to pay the $179. Service special but they need to return the mower in the same running condition as when it was deliveredOn Saturday April 11, 2020 I received a letter dated Feb 3, 2020 stating if I did not pay them by April 10th they would consider the unit abandoned. The letter was mailed April 3rd.Washington tractor is irresponsible and careless with others property. I would give them zero stars if that was an option.

Jon has been a tremendous help to my husband (Ted Johnson) and I with our John Deere tractor. The tractor was used, and Jon called the previous owner to find out why he was selling the tractor- the owner was upgrading to a newer model. Just got a Frontier WC1205 chipper attachment for my tractor a few days ago through Washington Tractor. Its a very well built machine with plenty of thick steel in all the key places, which makes me confident that it will last me a long time. With a couple of helpers to hand me branches, I went through a 12 yard pile in under an hour. All reduced to less than a yard of chips. The hydraulic feed makes the job go quickly. I have it attached to a John Deere 3720 tractor with a 44 HP engine. Its a good combination. I only stalled the engine once so far when I tried to feed it a 5+ inch hardwood branch a little too quickly. It ate through 4+ inch hardwood branches without hesitation.I love the service at Washington Tractor. Jon delivered the chipper, showed me how to remove the backhoe and came back the next day with a different coupling to hook everything up to make sure that I was up and running as quickly as possible.

Great place for finding the mower /tractor parts that you cant seem to find. I ordered a coil for my rider that no one seemed to have and it was ready for pickup the same day and not at an absorbent price. Would highly recommend talking to the staff here for parts or issues you have they are very knowledgeable.

Wife and I went here to buy a riding mower on Saturday 8/19/17. First I will say I am giving 2 stars because they do have a large selection on hand which did impress me. It took some time before a salesman even acknowledged us. I spoke for about 3 minutes with him and the minute I mentioned that my property had a small hill he instantly says I should not buy the D100 models and tried to flip me right to a 5000 dollar tractor. I mentioned that Cub Cadet had similar models to the D100 series that said hills were no problem. He said let me look that up and went inside. I said I was going to look around at other models and never saw the salesman again. The wife and I were there and ready to spend 3000+ on a mower and accessories total but apparently the salesman only cared if we bought one that was way out of our budget or even our mowing needs. I looked at a few other models for about 10 minutes and never saw that salesman or any other come help me. Wife and I both left with a bad taste in our mouth about this kind of service. I would prefer to buy from a local dealer and not the big box stores but that kind of service does not help sale me anything.

I previously had a negative review with my experience with Washington Tractor. My tractor was just not getting fixed.I decided to give it one more shot and found Pape had bought the place. Never dealt with Pape previously.Tractor was picked up within a few days. I was called within a week to let me know of my issues and price and what the warranty would cover. I proceeded with service.Tractor was back within two weeks, fully mission capable. Very satisfied. My experience with JD prior to this was not good. Now I’m more confident in my machine and local services. Thanks Pape Machinery.

The guys at Washington Tractor were so patient with me. It took me about a year to make up my mind on what I wanted and what I could afford. They never made me feel like it was a bother to answer question after question. We ended up getting a 3033R with forks, and a back hoe. It is awesome!

I have been researching garden tractors and sub compact utility tractors for sometime now after a very poor experience with a riding mower from one of the big box stores. Great customer service and knowledgeable staff. I had spoken with Ryan and he has all the farm machinery and tractor implements, attachments, and accessories you need to equip your tractor. I would not buy from anywhere but Washington Tractor.

Called these guys twice to come pick up my John Deere and no response. Guess theyre too busy and dont need the business. They also quoted a head gasket replacement at over 2x the price of the other shop I spoke to. Going to Precision Turf and Equipment, theyve been responsive and are sending someone out to pick up the mower.

My husband and I bought a new tractor (he knows the model, details, not my thing :) ) and elements from Jon Gouras at Washington Tractor a few months back. Jon was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and easy to work with. He not only help explain how the equipment worked but he even made a house call to help use figure it out on site. I recently moved to a large piece of property and was in need of a tractor. After looking at the other brands/dealers in the area I found myself going back to Washington Tractor to meet my needs. Jon Gouras worked with me to find my John Deere 2025r which was the perfect fit for my needs. Not knowing a lot about tractors he helped to find the right one which I am grateful for sense I was looking for a smaller model however after going over my needs he helped me to identify the right one, along with the additional implements needed to maintain my land. Sense then I have been in for a number of parts for my John Deere GT235 lawn tractor and Sthil weed eater and blower and Jon along with the parts team there have always been more then helpful finding even the most obscure parts. I have been, and will continue to use them for all my property equipment needs.

I have an old Yanmar tractor that shares a lot of John Deer parts. John over at Washington Tractor was a huge help. It wasnt a big sale but he took care of me and Ill be back and recommend him.

Salesman didnt seem too enthusiastic to help with the sale. After we loaded the tractor we realized that there wasnt any manuals, gas, or even an extra key. I bought a new car recently for the same price as the tractor and they spent the time with us showing where everything is and how to operate everything on the vehicle. We didnt even get the cute keychain that the keys were in at the store?? Its the little things that customers remember and bring them back. None of that happened for us. Oh, and the other salesman that day seemed very attentive his clients. Wish we would have had him :(

I would never go to this place again. They over charged my 78 year old grandma by a thousand dollars. She went in for a check in (which the Mt Vernon store said should have cost $265) and got the lawn mower back 6 weeks later with a charge of $1300. $700 of this was purely labor for changing two small parts that would have taken my husband 15 minutes to do and yet took the Snohomish store 6 weeks at $100 an hour. They screw people over and the Mt Vernon store get many complaints about their service. We checked these prices with the Mt Vernon store and they agreed that the Snohomish store is overpriced. Do not go there.

Expensive steering parts for a John Deer lawnmower. Only 2 years old, less than 100 hours on this machine, poorly designed and implemented. Very sloppy steering.

I have an LX 178 lawn tractor and it has given me great service. I understand things do wear out. One time my left front spindle went bad and elongated the hole in the wheel. I went to Mt. Vernon to see if they could help me. They said they could but upon inspection of wheel they said they could not press a new bushing in since the hole was elongated and needed a new wheel. they did not have a wheel in stock but looked it up and said Snohomish had one. I live in Darrington so I had already driven to Mt. Vernon ( 5o miles and was willing to to go to Snohomish. I get to Snohomish another 50 miles and get my wheel. They told me to go out back and they would mount it for me. i said great. i went out back and the young man said he could not do it since he was the only one one there answering phones and he was the only one authorised to do that. I said it will only take a minute to dismount my tire off old wheel and put it on my new wheel. He again said I will not do it I have to answer phones. the whole time I was there the phone never rang. he could have had it done in the amount time he kept saying he could not. I walked off and went to Les Schwab and had them do it. 7.50 to have it done. They never even said go to Schwab and we will pay for it. 150 miles that day for a wheel and cost to mount. I thought for sure they would say go to Shwabs and they will bill us. Is that asking too much for customer service. It was still Barnetts then
