This is my absolute FAVORITE place to shop for clothing. The ladies are fantastic at choosing outfits for me and I always have a delightful time going into this store.The merchandise is ever changing in the clothing dept. and home decor is unbelievable. I constantly shop here for house warming gifts.Ive been shopping here ever since I moved to Washington back in 1994.More than 5 stars. 10+ for sure!

I love their clothing and have spent a lot of money there. Its my favorite shop on that street. But almost every time we shop there, the owner lady comes down and hovers around us and we feel like were being watched. Were decent-looking, well dressed and well mannered, normal people.. I dont know what the problem is. But its offensive and makes me uncomfortable. I keep returning though because I love their stuff and ALWAYS buy something. Owner: please stop treating your regular customers like criminals.

Great store. Lots of amazing finds for home decor needs! We love the posters they sell for cheap nice wall hangings. This store is clean and displays everything in a very inviting fashion. Love stopping in here every time we are walking around town.

Use to give this a 5 star rating but they have grown to big more into trendy clothes than anything and employees are all family, great but deal with the customers too. Also seems like the craft a lot of the cutesy home items themselves. Sure has changed in the past few years. Kind of snooty

I absolutely love the clothes here! Very fashionable and brands I love. I love how many dresses they have and the flowy and lace designs to so many of the clothes. Pricing is very fair for the quality of clothing and expected for a boutique. I do love it and have no problem spending my money here.

Joyworks is the place to go all year round. Especially during Christmas! They have color schemed decorations for your home, christmas tree, kitchen, childrens room and anything you can imagine vintage or eclectic. The clothing area is such a find. My daughters and I have fallen in love with this place because the clothes are stylish, hip, vintage, and figure flattering. Theres an abundance of choices for high end dressy attire or upscale going around town attire. They have almost every color of hats and gloves that will meet anyones fancy. Not to mention the word plaques with whimsical sayings and the gift shop area with cards. If youre in Snohomish, this place is worth visiting. Weve been coming here for awhile, and always find something that makes you just have to have it!

Im a busy, working mom of 3. Im 10 days late getting my mom a birthday gift. Ive been wanting to go to her favorite store, joy works. I finally drag my tired butt to snohomish and drive around in circles for 20 mins trying to find a parking spot. My first though it WOW this store is too dang cute!Walk straight to clothing.. looking around enjoying my 15 mins of peace and quiet with NO kids. A friendly lady walks up asks if I need help.. YES! Im looking for a gift for my mom! The lady walks all around with me showing me outfits and styles that are popular. She was very kind and helpful.Ok, so now I have my gifts. Then I notice there is a downstairs. Gotta check it out!I get half way down the stairs and a lady says from the top let me hold those for you (talking about the clothes I have picked out) ok! Great! I walk back up she takes them and I continue walking down the stairs.Not even 30 seconds later she is behind me. I continue to wander and look and there she is again. Trying to look busy. Trying to not be noticeable that she is watching me.What an icky feeling. I start to think.. why is she watching me like this? Why does she think Im going to steal from them? What about me screams THIEF?!It dawns on me.I have last nights make up on, my hair is on top of my head and Im in yoga pants.She is judging me by the way I look. It was so obvious I couldnt even concentrate. I decided ok, Im done. Back up the stairs and there she is right behind me. I go to the counter and as badly as I didnt want to spend my money there I knew my mom would love what I had picked out. I spent $130 and left that store knowing Id never go again. Turn around one more time as Im walking out the door and she is right behind me. It took every thing in me not to completely lose it on her in front of the entire shop. I had never felt so humiliated.Im also a local vendor with a large clientele in the area... and while most days I try to put myself together, some days Im just treading water trying to keep up with my business and run a household of 5 while my husband works a million hours.Today I was treading water. Today I had 1 hour to run and get my mom a gift. Today I was judged for the way I looked.While this store is beautiful and I think the prices are right. They lost a customer. Word of mouth travels and it is never good to jump to conclusions. After all, we are in the same business.
