The team at Bill Smith are absolutely fantastic. This is the second time I have used them already highly recommend them to all of my friends. They opened extra early to cater to my work schedule and along with the oil change they also kindly checked two other issues at no extra charge. One of the issues were my brakes as another garage had told me I urgently needed my brake pads changed and was risking my life driving with them. Bill’s checked and were very honest and said I had plenty of wear left on them and it wasn’t necessary. They also fixed the other issue free of charge. It’s hard to find an honest mechanic and as a female find I’m often a target for garages up selling and fabricating issues. The team here are wonderful, very friendly, very honest and great value - thank you!

Bill Smith is the place to go. Best prices west of the 5 and great service. I know I can trust their recommendation. After being advised I needed 4K in repairs from another place Bill Smith gave me an estimate for $500 for the only critical repair and the car has been great for two years since. I will use these guys as long as I’m in the area.

These guys are the KINDEST! So honest too - if you dont have a mechanic you trust, try them out! They checked my engine out and since there wasnt anything wrong with it they didnt charge! Theyre still taking theyre time to diagnose, so its extrememly kind of them to not charge for that visit! I highly recommend using this shop!

THESE GUYS ARE THE REAL DEAL ! After getting good work done here on my wifes car recently I booked my car in for an oil change yesterday. When Laurie said I could have the 9am slot and get my car back within an hour I thought she was pulling my leg. I was used to dropping my Nissan 350Z off at the dealer at 8am and waiting, waiting and waiting until about 1pm to get it back. I dropped my car off here just before 9am. Fred met me in the car park and took the keys. I reminded him I wanted synthetic oil and left to walk down the street to get a latte at a coffee shop down the street. Laurie phoned me at 9.45am to say the my car was ready. I was charged under $40 for 5 quarts off synthetic oil and an oil filter. UNBELIEVABLE BUT TRUE. These folk are super friendly, honest as heck and they wont rob you blind......And weve been back recently to have a new sun visor installed on my wifes Versa. Fred ordered the sun visor in for us and installed it for free. We just paid the cost of the visor. Fantastic !

Stay away..... totally got taken at this place. They did not use the correct parts and after coming back they did not correct the repairs. If i could i would leave 0 stars. The lady who works there is NOT friendly at all and hung up on me after follow up. You need to learn some customer service skills. over charged and treated horribly, Caution....

I initially called on a Friday morning to determine the cost for a car battery replacement. The woman who answered the phone told me that their computer system was down but that she would call me back when it came back online to give me a price.All Friday and the weekend went by with no call, so Monday afternoon I tried back. The system had come back online, but they forgot to give me a call. No big deal, things like that happen.The woman who had assisted me on Friday proceeded to get the information about my car and determine the cost for replacement in their computer system. She told me $280 for the battery and $45 for the labor.I responded very politely that this seemed high for the cost of a battery and I asked, again very politely, what type of battery this was and whether that was the retail price for the battery.Her response? Its none of your business what the retail price of the battery is.EXCUSE ME?? I told her I thought that was a rude way to respond to a customer and she proceeded to hang up the phone on me.Im actually glad this happened because it saved me the trouble of dealing with a repair shop that refuses to be transparent about how they are charging you. Dont say it is $45 in labor if you are charging me an extra $100 markup (or whatever) for the battery. If this is how they do business in general, Bill Smith Automotive is an auto shop that should be avoided at all costs.Deceptive, and rude.
