Took my vehicle in to get seen since it was making a rattling sounds and needed alignment, had to take it back since the alignment was still not fixed the owner frank did the work but I didn’t bother taking it back for the 3rd time as of now my vehicle is still making rattling sound and my alignment still pulls to the side especially in the freeway. Don’t bother taking your vehicle in for alignment they don’t have the equipment to make sure it’s Aligned correctly.Update: Maria, contacted me on 5/11/21 to offer me a refund of $60.00. This is a wonderful, family run, local business that is a ways off the beaten path, but totally worth discovering. They sorted out an ancient unloved barn find ATV for me and it runs great. They kept us informed as we waited for parts over the Christmas season and prices were very reasonable (less than expected). Theyll gladly work on anything with a motor, and Ill be bringing my old daily driver to them soon.

Through the years, Ive visited many local shops. Almost all have poor to mediocre customer service with filthy offices. This shop has a legitimately friendly atmosphere. Its a husband/wife running the business. Honest, welcoming, and reasonable prices. I have the ability to do high level diagnostic work at home, but Im not comfortable doing engine/transmission work. Frank is very knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I have been taking my vehicle to F & M for over a year. They are very professional and have a nice clean office. I started by talking my 1st truck by a recommendation and loved how everything was explained. It was a pretty big job and I couldnt go check it out but they sent me photos and saved me the bad parts so I can see for myself. Everything else my cars have needed have been no different. They will work by appointment which is perfect for me. I recommend this shop.

Best auto repair place ever! I 100% recommend. I do not trust Salinas after they didn’t fix a part that they constantly told me to go back and spend money on, frank fixed it the first day and did a car exam and told me what else was wrong with my car. Frank and Maria were a huge help recently when I ran into trouble late on Friday night in the hills outside Soledad. I was in town for a weekend to see the sites, and really needed to get my car back into good shape. While some of the other local shops didnt have mechanics working on Saturday or not until late Saturday morning, I took a shot at messaging F&M, and they were willing to help out. The repair job was just as quick and on target as their customer service -- they got the job done in a little over an hour, and had me back off and running. No B&S, just good, timely service on all fronts. Frank and Maria are great.

My 72 VW Super Beetles fuel pump failed when I was driving through Soledad over the Martin Luther Kings weekend. I was very lucky to have found F&M Auto Repair. Maria went out of her way to arrange for a tow from the motel I was staying at to their shop. Frank is a super knowledgeable mechanic who diagnosed my cars problem right away and installed a new electric fuel pump to get me on my way. They charged me a very, very fair price for both parts and labor. Considering that I was a stranger stranded in an unfamiliar town, they could have easily taken advantage of my situation and charged me a much higher amount, but, bless their heart and their wonderful business ethics, they didnt. Maria even personally drove me to the nearby Starbucks so I could wait in comfort while the part my car needed was being driven up from King City to their shop. They have a new customer for life. And did I mention their dog, Mona, was friendly and entertaining?

I was having problems with my 66 Chevy Nova. No one would take a look at it. A friend of mine recommended F&M. I called them and Maria was very nice, helpful and sounded very knowledgeable. They had it towed to their shop. It had some major wiring problems and engine problems. I approved the work and within days the wiring was installed. The engine got fixed and it has been running better then it has ever been in a long time. I got a one year warranty. They truly are good people and they went out of their way for me. This will be my go to shop. I really recommend them.
