Came early Sunday morning around 7am. Bought a half dozen bagels and 2 apple dumplings. Bagels were great but went to heat up the apple dumplings and noticed a black looking mold on the bottom. Funny thing is The guy who grabbed them for me asked another associate about then and still proceeded to sell me it. Opened it up and saw this. Only reason I gave 2 stars was due to past good experiences and the bagels are good. I would recommend just looking at your food very closely when going here. Today was my first time visiting D & R. I was impressed with the wide range of menu options, and cleanliness of the location. But what REALLY blew me away was the friendly staff. Ill definitely be visiting again in the future. Oh, and the food was delicious too!

Great food, great service, great ambience and great people. It doesnt get better than this. Whenever my wife and I are visiting my in-laws in Cleveland, Ohio I try to make sure I visit this gem of a place and get my bagel fix. The variety of cream cheese flavors in this place is stellar and the hash browns are absolutely divine! Last time we also tried the macaroni salad, which was equally spectacular.

Show me a better deli/bagel shop. I’ll wait…The bagels are made fresh and you can immediately tell the difference between D&R and chain bagel shops. You can make a bagel sandwich with nearly anything you want on it for $5 or less. The homemade chicken salad is smooth and delicious, and did I mention the pastries and muffins are only $1.90?!? I do recommend going there early, before it gets busy and the bagels sell out.

I now understand why D&R Bagels has such a high rating. I came in for breakfast and ordered an omelette and coffee which came with a free bagel. The staff was wonderful ... Especially considering I managed to drop my whole order before I got it to the table. We got it cleaned up and they made me another at no charge.It was fantastic food and the coffee wasuch better than Starbucks. The spinach was fresh and I was given at least double the quantity I would get at Dennys or Perkins for a comparable price.Thank you to everyone at D&R!

This place has everything you could think about wanting on a begal and more! Honestly to many possible combinations to list. I highly recommend you stopping in and treating yourself. The sooner the better.

Ive been here maybe 6-8 times. The bagels are good and the prices very fair, but what stands out is the service. Ive had more than one occasion when someone has gone the extra mile; either come out from behind the grill to take my order or brought my order to the table, and its not just one person. They always seem to be customer focused and friendly and that goes a long way.

The visit was pretty good. The store did not seem to have the variety of bagels I am used to seeing there. There was one small problem; I had a coupon allowing me 4 free bagels, if I purchased one dozen. I did purchase a dozen, but I I only got 2 free bagels...somebody did not count very well...when I asked the server to be sure I got 16 bagels, instead of re-counting she simply pointed out to me that she had used a 16 bagel bag...and that was that. I only became aware of the shortage when I returned home.

Great local deli ( I believe everything is Kosher) so far I have tried a jalapeno bagel toasted and buttered, a turkey bacon and egg sandwich on a croissant, Lox, onion and eggs on an everything bagel and my favorite so far pastrami and egg with swiss cheese on a wheat bagel. As far as delis go this is as good as you will get outside of NYC, even better than the satellite location of that venerable NYC institution Katz located in German Village outside of Columbus. I love supporting local NE Ohio businesses and this ones right up the road. I have found our new breakfast spot!

Its nice they named a samich after the kid who died in the line of duty #RIPTYLERIll never forgot playing Shrek 2 the video game, on the gamecube every sunday night. He was bold, and curious, never able to keep his hands to himself. My mother told me to call her back, I said yes. It was two weeks ago.

Bagels are deliciously delightful. Over 24 different bagels to choose from and over 10 spreads for the various bagels. They also make coffee/ latte etc. Pleasant find of a bagel joint. Prices are fair and the African American working there was doing a excellent job. Someone give him a raise. 10/10 would recommend.

I work out in Solon and a coworker put me on to D&R bagels. Nice shop, WONDERFUL customer service and great affordable breakfast! Even ordered on door dash and everything was the way I asked hot and fresh! Def recommend if your in the area, looking forward to trying them out for lunch as well

Bagels tasted okay, overall quality was mediocre. Some of the bagels we chose had cubed salt/sugar on them and it melted off after sitting on the counter over the course of the day..Honestly I rather drive a couple extra miles to Brueggers

One of my absolute favorites in all of Cleveland. I drive close to 30 min occasionally just to eat here. They have real authentic bagels unlike other fraud chains in the area. They also have taylor ham which is even another huge bonus! Stop and check this place out!

Great place for breakfast or brunch! The bagels were so excited of the best Ive ever had. I had the egg bagel and the everything bagel Think of a fluffier, chewy consistency that is even better toasted. Reasonable prices and large portion sizes. They offer omelettes, soups, and sandwiches as well as bagels and pastries. Coffee and other beverage options can be had as well. Would definitely come here again.

I love this restaurant is the best fresh food around the food is prepared daily and fresh every day love their, bagels and Reuben sandwiches don’t let me forget the fresh wraps. The customer service is outstanding, they are always polite . One of the best restaurants around.

Not just bagels. Sandwiches and more. Breakfast...lunch...what would you like from the menu. Large diner like atmosphere (order at cashiers, take to your table, and then eat😌) or just take it out and enjoy your lox and bagel or corn beef sandwich at home. Its clean lots of choices and prices decent. You should really check out this place. You will be pleasantly suprised.

Very clean lots of variety tons of flavors to choose from! Elise* went above and beyond! It’s my first time at D & R so you could imagine my confusion/curiosity. She made it easy to navigate! I order a whole work order of different bagels! She sliced, toasted, individually warped each bagel and even labeled them for me! She didn’t make me feel like I was a drag either! Definitely returning!

Matzo ball soup, jumbo shrimp with fries anything you can think of on a bagel. The Kyle is amazing and a lox Bagel. Im willing to try anything they make never been disappointed. Amazing food awesome price

I have tried D&R many times over the last 2 years. I have to unfortunately say that you are better off going to Einstein. D&R bagels are consistently over boiled and baked, and often lack any flavor. Morning staff are also generally rude to customers depending on what kind of mood theyre in.

The bagels are made fresh every night and taste great and have great texture. These are true bagels not wonderbread with a hole. Great for breakfast or lunch. Its family-run and it shows. They care about their service and their customers come back day after day.

Food is decent. The girl thats been working there for years (shes now a cook) has a very poor attitude. Ive watched her huff and puff when the cashiers/servers tell her an order. The window to see them cooking is visible from the front. Not a good asset. But their move was well needed.

Very disappointed! Had an omlette, had to throw it away,it tasted terrible. People want quality and what they pay for. Having an omelette done in 3 minutes doesnt do it.

They offer good food and good service at modest prices. I have been a customer for years and have never been surprised by the price or been overcharged. It offers a quiet getaway for me from the office.

I was there today at lunch hour and was not impressed at all. The food that I picked up was just OK but what really turned me off was the rude staff. I was getting a coffee and after I returned to the register to see if my food was ready, I asked this girl if my food was ready and she turned around with a super snotty look and said to me I have NO idea. Who was helping you? so I pointed to that girl and said her and then the girl that was helping me gave me my food. The other rude girl exactly knew what she was doing to me ... She was being rude and she knew it. Disgusting service. Never going back, will be telling everyone about this.

All of those people saying good things about this hell hole probably got paid to do it. I paid $10.00 for a cream cheese and lox bagel and a dixie cup of tuna salad. The prices here are ridiculous. They trick you into thinking that the prices are low by just writing things like Cream cheese and lox bagel with a low price on the menu, then the person making your food keeps asking you if you want extra stuff on it and pickles and extra cream cheese and extra lox and the little portions of salad on the side. After getting tricked into buying all that, I ended up paying $10.00, and the guy making my bagel got all sarcastic and rude after I asked why it was so expensive. I figured it was going to be a pretty tasty bagel after paying $10.00 for it, but I was definitely disappointed. The bagel was hard and stale, the lox tasted funny, and the cream cheese was disgusting. The spoon full of tuna salad was decent, but nothing special. I still cant believe that I got tricked into paying $10.00 for that garbage. On top of that, that bagel gave me indigestion. I shouldve known to walk out before I placed my order, because the place was empty during lunch hour and there were flies flying around the deli. Never buy anything from this place. For the money that it costs, you can go somewhere else and get more food for half the price. $10.00 for a frigging bagel. Still cant believe it.

If your looking for an authentic New York or East Coast tasting bagel, this place is the closest I have found in Ohio. I have lived in NE Ohio for quite a few years now and no place comes even close to bagels like this. I have not tried every bagel shop in the state, but I believe this place has the best bagels in Ohio. I will drive 30-45 minutes for a bagel from D & R Bagels!!!
