When we bought our house, we HATED the shower door that was in the house. Solon glass built us a custom door, it is BEAUTIFUL. We are so happy with the work they did, and the patience they showed us when having to reschedule install for a month because of a drain that burst in the same bathroom. We had a first-class experience with Solon Glass regarding their design and installation of a shower enclosure for a recent bathroom remodel. Scott was very professional when he came for the measurement and within 24 hours we were emailed the design along a very affordable price for the project. On installation day, Matt and Jim were again the epitome of professionalism. I hardly even knew they were in the house and when the install was complete, they gave me all the necessary info to properly care for the glass. Most importantly, the shower looks outstanding!

1 star because 0 isnt an option.3 owners, no communication and just plain insulting. Get it together, this isnt the old times where you can be rude and no one will know. Internet comments exist, theyre public and forever. Let this be a lesson.

Recently made a custom glass top for a hand-crafted coffee table I made and it finished it off perfectly.

I asked them what they would charge to cut some shelving down to smaller size.I received a very blunt reply We do not cut customer glass at all no explanation why they wont or cant do it.Ive a small remodeling company and have been recommending Solon Glass since the mid 70s. I retired a couple years ago and have heard from a few customers that they were not happy with fit of the shower panels and the doors leaked. The Solon glass person who checked it out said that it should have been done differently and other sealants used . Its their measurements and installation but not there responsibility. They do come out a couple times and added more caulk but thats it.The reason Im writing this is for 40 years I threw tens of thousands of dollars in business their way, just because they used to be a small local business and then I get treated like that.By the way I Called Middlefield Glass and they said no problem they could get it done while i wait.

My wife is a designer so we have worked with them for something like 20 years and they are pros for home or biz applications. Excellent quality, good pricing, good service.
