Purchase of vehicle was awesome, very much enjoyed the no hassle. Purchased the 2021 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited. First service, was unable to schedule online, called and it took a week to get in in (who knows what theyll be doing a week out?). No service loaner had to make trip in to drop it off and another to pick it up. All services are required to be completed there for their warranty. Love the purchase will not recommend the Don Franklin Warranty (Go through JEEP)

I have been shopping for a new truck for weeks. Today I stopped in at Don Franklin DCRJF in Somerset, KY. I sure am glad I did. They have a great team of salesmen there. I was greeted at the door and instantly made to feel welcome. I had the pleasure of meeting Alex. He was extremely helpful, friendly and courteous. I also met with Jeff who was super nice, friendly and very knowledgeable. Together this team brought me truck after truck and hunted the expansive lot until I found just the right one. I went and had a recall done on my car (motor was taking to much oil) . When I left after getting the recall finished my car would barely even run and was shifting really bad I immediately turned around and went back to the dealership and told them whatever they did they messed it up because my car was running just fine before. They told me that my o2 sensors something was wrong with it and they didn’t fix it and that they reprogrammed my transmission and that it will take 3-7 days for it to program to how I drive. They told me my car was messed up before I brought it to them and they wouldn’t fix the issue. So I left and didn’t even make it 5 min down the road and had to have my car hauled home. I took my car to my maintenance guy and he told me that someone had pulled my wires out of my o2 sensors and that’s why it would barely run and was shifting bad. He said it was freshly done. I’ve tried contacting and trying to speak to a supervisor and couldn’t get through to anyone. No telling who else they mess with their cars! That’s so wrong! Why would a honest truth worthy place mess with someone car like that! I would not trust this place to work on your car for any issue! It’s so hard to find trust worthy dealerships anymore and this place is not it!

My son called Don Franklin in Somerset to see about getting approved over the phone before we drove 2 hours. We were told by Audrea that we could not do it over the phone because we were in state!! Seriously! I explained to her that my son had been working 16 hours a day as a lineman in Louisiana for the past month after Hurricane Ida had hit. This was the first day he had had off work in a month!! It did not matter. So we drove the 2 hour drive only to be told when we got there that it could have been done over the phone. Very disappointed.

Went looking at vehicles and no one would come to help. Customer service is really lacking in the sales department. They was two different guys riding around on the golf cart playing on their cell phone and drove past me three times never stopped. Then another guy walked around me twice and never said anything. I’ll take my business else where. What happened to the salesman that would talk to you? Not act like your interrupting their Facebook scrolling!

Im giving the people 5 stars because the people are really nice and freindly and I can buy my parts from them for my 2000 silverado. But then again Im only giving a 2 star because they WONT WORK ON ANY VEHICLES FROM 2005 or older?? If youre a GM Dealers then you should work on all GM trucks and cars from 2000 and up. But they will sale you a 2000 or 2005 for the right price though

Very easy to deal with. Called them and told them what vehicle I was looking for. Than got a call back from sales, told my sales gentleman what I got for trade-in, sent him informations on my trade, told him what kind of number I was looking for, got the numbers back, ran my credit, done deal. I had been casually browsing for a Kia Optima when I saw a post online that seemed to meet all my requirements in what I was looking for. I contacted a salesman, Kyle Young, on social media who responded within minutes and we began discussing numbers as well as information about my potential trade. By my lunch hour, Kyle was already in the process of working out numbers to get me right at the payment amount and the car was then delivered to me right when I got off of work. Wouldn’t even give them one star if I didn’t have to. Completely unprofessional brought the car in for an appointment on 2 different occasions. Sat for 3 hours the first time for them to tell me they hasn’t done anything to it yet. Scheduled another appointment for another day bring it back for them to say it will take 2 hours at the most. 5 hours later call back to see what’s happening for them to tell me they’ve gone home for the day and there’s no way for me to know if my vehicle is fixed or for me to even pick it up. Absolutely unprofessional in every way shape and form. Honesty disgusted

As a former Sales manager at a Toyota dealership in North Carolina I was amazed at the lack of attention that is given from there internet department. I provided all information they would need to put together a buyers order in my initial email. The first response was the following day with a computer generated response asking me questions that I had already provided answers to. I replied with the answers once again. The next email was also a computer generated email letting me know this new car was still available. Finally I received a text from an internet rep who started off asking me what car was I interested in.. This dealership is clearly making a lot of money on the front end and back end of car deals with hat they are fine with spending thousands of dollars on a system that the employees are failing to use correctly. End result.. I am the now proud owner of the vehicle by going through a different dealer that actually values customers who are in the market to purchase. Seems like a failure of leadership somewhere.

Pack a lunch if you go to the service dept. I went in for an oil change / air filter change and 2hrs later I got to leave. Pretty sad if you ask me. Luckily I do not live here because I will not be coming back.The staff is friendly but service is slow. I guess they don’t have enough people to handle the work.

2006 Jeep was starting to spark knock and hesitate. Since I was away from my home state and had no tools, I decided to make the 1.5 hour trip to Don Franklin which was the closest dealer to me. They ran their diagnostic and found a bad spark plug. Easy fix with a basic tool kit and was back to hitting the trails. I have only ever driven jeeps for 30 years and have always trusted the Jeep dealer with the problems I couldnt fix. Don franklins employees were all friendly and all seemed to be working very hard. Thanks for the positive experience crew!

I am giving them a 1 star rating based on my service experience with them today. I was scheduled for Oil change and recall on oil testing at 8:45 am. The time is now 11:31 am and I am still sitting in the waiting room. My Jeep was done at 10:50 am and I hv been waiting to pay since that time. I have asked the receptionist twice to go find the paper work or inquire about the paperwork and I am still sitting here waiting. Finally got up and went into service area and inquired about my own paperwork. This is horrible. I always go to Kia location for my service b/c I never have these issues. Had to come to this location for the recall service. Never again. Service manager was wonderful, very professional. Looks like they just overbook and not enough help on hand. Please get organized and get this man some more help b/c they are overworked and trying to push so much volume thru. Also check in on your clients more or offer a loaner vehicle for people to get other errands done. Open communication goes a long way and would save you from negative reviews.

Worst experience ever!!!! The manager stated that it didn’t matter how much business you bring they didn’t want to give out a loaner to my husband for him to drive because he had his service dog. We have bought 3 brand new vehicles from don franklin and we won’t buy another and I will be sure to tell everybody how this dealership did us. I went in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I left the wheel lock in a clear ziploc bag in the drivers front seat. When I was informed my car was finished and after I paid I returned to my vehicle. As soon as I opened the door I noticed my glove box was open with about half of the contents scattered in my floorboard. Also my console was open and contents rummaged through. I immediately went back inside and asked why the tech would have went through my stuff and left contents in my floorboard. I was told by the guy behind the customer counter that the tech couldnt find my wheel lock nut. I told him that I had left it in the front drivers seat in a clear plastic baggie and theres no reason he couldnt have seen it he would have felt it when he sat down on it. And I told him furthermore if they couldnt find it they should have came to the customer lounge and asked me where it was at not rummage through my stuff and had most of my contents in the floorboard. Ive been going to the dealership to have my oil changed, tires rotated and all of my service needs since I purchased my vehicle and and this is the first real bad experience that I had.

Had it towed there for issues and they lost my center cap to the tire, didnt reassemble the gear shift know, and a week later I had to have it towed to another dealership for additional repairs they missed. There was a bulletin to fix two problems from Chrysler and only fixed one. I have called and emailed several times not one answer back. This was after they emailed me about the service. I had a battery / charging issue with my 2019 Bighorn. I took it to Don Franklin service dept. Lyle was my service Adviser. Although they had thetruck for 2 days, they were able to determine the problem was a bad cell in the battery. Honestly, I wish there was an option for zero stars. I am very disappointed in my first visit to Don Marshall. You see? I was interested in purchasing a Hellcat and Don Marshall had one in their inventory. So, I called the dealership and spoke to Brandi Adkins. I told her I wanted to drive the Hellcat and compare it to a standard 392 Challenger, She said no problem. Come on down. I made an appointment for 11:00 Saturday. I drive the one hour to get there and was greeted by Brandi. (she even called me to confirm my appointment) She then turned me over to a salesman names Brian. He had zero interest in selling me a car. I asked if it would be a problem getting the Hellcat out for the drive (it was still sitting on the showroom floor) and he said I dont know. After waiting for several minutes, he comes back and tells me that I cant drive it. He proceeds to tell me that for insurance reasons, they dont let people drive them.So, I get that they might not let a person drive one. But he didnt even offer to take me a ride in it. If I had been told in the beginning that i couldnt drive it, I may have been more understanding. But, I was told to come on down. Needless to say, I left the dealership very disappointed. I will never be back. Nor will I ever recommend your dealership to anyone. Youve lost a customer for life.Oh, one more thing. I left and drove to Tim Short Chrysler in Corbin, drove a Hellcat and purchased it on the spot. Thanks to Marlena, a superb salesperson, I am now the happy owner of a bitchin Hellcat.

Bought a 2020 Ram Longhorn from Don Franklin CDJR. Excellent experience from long distance! The entire process was very easy and Shane Poynter (sales) was extremely helpful and easy to work with. Went today specifically to test drive a Jeep Wrangler I found online. The price online was $39, 234. When we got there we were told by the salesman that the online price was just to get people on the lot. The actual price was $43,860. The lowest they would go was $42, 234...still $3,000 over the online price. Honestly, Im sure the Jeep was worth that, but that wasnt the point...just to get people on the lot flew all through me...grrr...I just thought this was horrible business, so we left.I also think its bad that they discontinued the lifetime oil changes for vehicles purchased from Don Marshall before changed to Don franklin. That was a great purchase point for me buying my Ram 3 years ago!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I purchased a vehicle and with in 2 weeks the transmission was going out, breaks were squeaking, and immediately, upon delivery i noticed the dash was discolored. I was assured via text that there were no issues with the vehicle. A mechanic confirmed the transmission is going out. Rather than making things right the salesman offered to trade me into another vehicle for even less than i paid 1 month earlier for this vehicle. I AM STILL STUCK IN A TICKING TIME BOMB. These people are SCAM ARTISTS.

Where to begin, made a deal with salesman Mike Jones on a Ram 2020. The truck when I went to first look was 52 online, when I went back to purchase it was 56. Okay still competitive price for the truck, no issues. Proceed with the deal, agree on a price, terms and payment. Proceed to the finance manger Sean Bersagila, the terms had changed, the interest rate had increased and the price of truck increased 10 grand from going to the salesman to the so called “finance manger”. Get the contract from the bank is nothing close to what we agreed upon, and still receiving loan request for 75k dollars from over 15 loan agencies and banks. I have all the documentation to prove it, which this was done without my approval. I was told the amount would be 56 and they would check with two banks. So I contact PNC to get the actual terms and conditions they submitted to the bank. The contract was 2 percent higher in interest then I was told and the amount was for ten thousand more dollars. I’m telling you I wouldn’t let this people sale girls scout cookies. Oh better yet this 65k dollar truck has a water leak and it has less then 2k miles. And of course being the wonderful family dealership they are they assured me it would be taken care of. Just one issue “the parts on back order and we have no clue when or if we can fix it.” Stated the service technician. “We have 3 more sitting out back just like it”. Save yourself time and money and go else where there’s a reason they want to own all the dealerships. Don’t get caught in the marketing and lifetime warranty and all that like I did. Sketchiest bunch of people I have ever been around and I’ll sacrifice my lifetime warranty to avoid giving them anymore money.
