Ken is great out the counter. Very honest place and they get the job done in a timely manner. Repeat customer.
On Saturday July 3rd, I made an appt for a oil change . My car maintenance for this job was overdue due to illness in my family. Ken at this Somerset location gave me a late appt that worked for me . I was able to leave in about 45 minutes . The waiting room was clean and comfortable. I was very satisfied with the friendly service and Ken’s courtesy.
I had a flat tire just a few hours before they closed on a Saturday but Goodyear was still able to help me get a tow to their shop. Kenneth was so kind and helpful from the minute I called him the first time around up until I picked up my car, which was all patched up within 24 hours. This has been my go-to place for my cars tires and I definitely recommend this shop!
The worst experience I ever got! Brought the car to them at 8:30am was told by sale associations that it would be ready by the afternoon. 3hrs later no call no update so we give them a call and they said it will be done this evening because they were short stuff. WHY DIDNT THEY CALL!!! why did we have to call then we arrived there car still not ready another excuse was giving. We didnt get out the store until it was closing at 6pm. The car was there since 8:30 just need a tire change and oil change doesnt take that long! You are better off going somewhere else because they work slow give every excuse under the sun and only one person works plus the store is Is filthy dirt and dust everywhere its like nobody take the time to clean the inside or wipe the windows down. They need a Receptionist asap
05/23/2021 Let start by saying I’ve taken my cars to Goodyear for service before.They are close to my house so it makes it very convenient for a quick appointment . There was never an issue but the customer service today was not up to par. There was a guy older male that was assisting me at the front desk. I checked in told him what I was here for and also asked if they could give me a quote for my rear passenger door. I explained the issue and without even trying to help, his answer right away was that, “They probably won’t be able to do that today.” I guess assumed he would say let’s see if they can and we would let you know, or the people that fix that aren’t in on the weekends. I said ok no problem I will make a future appointment. They do the oil change and he also lets me know that the left outer tire rod needs to be changed which goes along with an alignment. My first question was how do you fix it? His dry response was, “replace it”. That didn’t sit well with me because of the WAY he said it. Don’t make someone feel stupid because they asked a legitimate question. When I go to PEPBOYS in NORTH BRUNSWICK they literally explain in detail the cause and effect, how they fix it and how to maintain the life of your vehicle. Excuse me if I was naive and thought that level of customer service was out there. I will not be returning to Goodyear for ANY type of service and ALL of the other people that I recommended, I will tell them not to go as well. If I could give 0 stars I would!
I have lived in the Somerset area for the past 20 years and purchased tires and services from this Goodyear store during that entire time. Let me preface my review by stating their service has always been good and that is why I‘ve continued to use them.Two weeks ago I bought 4 new tires plus an alignment for my car that cost $1,300+. On Monday morning the low tire pressure sensor alarm went off for one of those new tires. I immediately called the store to see if I could have them check it and was told they were too busy, and that I couldn’t get an appointment until Friday (4 days later)! To be told to wait 4 days for a flat tire repair when I purchased my tires from you is totally unacceptable!! I then called the local Mavis Tire store and they had the tire repaired within two hours. I am extremely disappointed by this episode and doubt I’ll ever use this Goodyear location again.
I have lived in the New Brunswick, NJ area for nearly two years and the Goodyear team have always taken tremendous care of my vehicle and I. I appreciate them for helping a college kid out with his auto maintenance and repair issues! Thank y’all so much and God Bless the team.

I was there for an oil change, about 30 mins ago. Mike and Matt we’re really helpful and guided me throughout the whole process. I was very indecisive about what oil I should put in my car ( Matt ) took care of me right away. I applaud the professionalism and excitement he took carrying me through the whole process. Definitely highly recommend for service and vehicle needs. Thank you guys. You guys rocked!
I never feel like I’m being ripped off. The service managers are always nice and understanding. Even when I have had repairs that were very expensive or challenging repairs they were always helpful
Outstanding service. I have brought both of my vehicles here in the last month. One got 4 tires and the other needed some minor work done. There is nothing bad I can say about the place, service or employees. Will be back again
Called and asked if they could do a same-day rear light replacement, got a positive answer and got there only to wait for 1.5 hours before being told that its too much work for today. Total waste of time, very unprofessional.
The staff here is great. Jim and Mike are always honest, forthright and knowledgable about what my car needs (and doesnt need). Ive been coming to this Goodyear for almost two years and feel like a valued customer.I would highly recommend using Goodyear at 1099 Easton Ave.
Told my fiancé how great Goodyear was with my oil change which was a huge mistake because when we took his car today this is what happened to his driver side window courtesy of whoever the hell Mike is at Easton ave Goodyear. I scheduled an appointment for his car for today for 11am and scheduled my car which also needed an oil change for 1:30. He drove his car and I followed in my car so we could drop it off we arrived at 11:03 and left at 11:15. By 1 there was still no call for his car, by 1:10 we left the house to drop my car off and wait for his car to be finished. When we arrived it was 1:26 or so and his car was still parked where he left it they hadn’t started yet lol. So I go in with him and I tell them I’d like to reschedule my oil change for tomorrow. Their noon time slot was open so I said ok. We left did a little running around had some food and went back home. We got home around 3:43 or so and finally got a call from them at 3:58. The guy on the (mike) asked if he knew that the window was off track. My fiancé replied yes and inquired as to why he was asking him that. The guy on the phone then said oh nothing, I managed to get the window up tho and your car will be done in 15 minutes. The phone call needed and they called back at 4:14 to let us know to come pick up the car. We drive down there in my car we get there around 4:40, I’m in my car waiting for him to come back out while waiting I notice his driver said window was all lopsided, I text him his window is messed up lol I should’ve taken a pic of the window. We drive home and arrive around 5:06. Thats when he notices that his window is really bad. He had the window rolled down on the way home because the weather was really good today. So when he tried to roll it back up it wasn’t doing it like it usually does with a little finesse. He was sitting there trying to fix it while I decided to look on the passenger side trying to understand why it wasn’t working and that’s when I point out that the guard isn’t supposed to be in there it’s supposed to be flared out like the one on the passenger window as you can see in my two pictures one took and one I had him send me that he took. He calls to see if they will fix this screw up of theirs and asked to speak with the owner and Mikes reply was all I did was pull the window up a little and that they are corporate owned. That’s fine I will leave this review with these detailed pics and I will be calling around for corporate to have this injustice fixed to my satisfaction because this isn’t right. I called to cancel my appointment for tomorrow. We will not ever be going back there which is a shame because he was about to spend about 250 for them to fix his cars alignment. Also if Mike had any common sense he would’ve done what I did to see how the window was supposed to be instead of jamming things where they don’t belong, should lose your license and your job you don’t need to be working on cars if you’re going to be that brainless.* Earlier today after some calling around the car got taken back and the window is now back in the semi working order it was in when this whole nonsense began, we will have to replace the weather tech rain guards on both sides which would’ve had to do eventually anyway. I am satisfied with this outcome. We didn’t pay for them to revert the window back to how it was.*

Waiting too long for a scheduled oil change and tite rotation.
If only they had a half star rating.We made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for 2pm. When we arrived we were told the car wouldn’t be ready for 2 hours. An oil change only pays 12-15 minutes in a flat rate shop. Our car wasn’t pulled into the shop until just about 3pm. At 4pm we were told the tires didn’t need to be rotated, but there were other services that should be done. It’s a good thing Goodyear sells tires because as an oil change shop they would be out of Buisness. I will most definitely not return to this location for service again. BTW, the tire rotation was supposed to be free. Any wonder why it wasn’t done? All I can say is when a 2pm appointment for a 15 minute job turns into a 2 hour wait, it’s a problem with management.
I had an emergency situation with my car during the morning rush hour and came in without an appointment. They said they would be able to get to the diagnostic, but couldnt say when because they had a schedule full all day. Well, they drove me home so I wouldnt have to wait there all day. They were able to do the diagnostic AND the repairs all in ONE DAY! INCREDIBLE! Very courteous and professional service. The repairs were fairly priced and everything was explained in full to me in terms I was able to understand (as someone who is not a mechanic). I will always bring my car back to them. GREAT WORK!
I have been going here for many years and I have a very positive experience with this place. I dont take chance with my car service but then I do take care of small small things on my own. I have never found mechanics here trying to sell me unnecessary parts or services.I wish they fix online appointments system.
Pleased with the service. Timing wasnt fast, but reasonable, and prices seemed normal. Thats all you can ask with a car place. And they didnt try to sell me 40 unneeded parts which is always a big pet peeve with me when dealing with cars. A positive in my book.

I came in early Saturday morning with a low tire pressure warning light. I was seen immediately and my tires were pumped up. No charge - was in and out in 5 minutes. Will definitely come back when I need a tire change for the winter. Thank you!
Brought my car in to get my winter tires put on and a couple things checked out. Made an appointment for 9:30am online, which said to expect a 2 hour wait for pickup- my car wasn’t done until 4:30pm and they charged me $250 to switch the tires and look at my alignment. Absolutely absurd that they were so far off the mark on how long it would take and the man I dropped the car with in the morning was surly and unpleasant. The new employee who helped me check out at the end of the day was extremely polite and helpful, but it didn’t make up for the rest of my experience.

We are going to have a winter storm and I was driving home from errands when my windshield wiper tore in half. Thank heavens Good Year was open. They were pleasant and helpful. 15 minutes and I was all set.
Extremely displeased with the service I received. Truck was pulling hard to the right when I arrived and after 3.5 hours I left with no improvement, no explanation, and no resolution. They didnt even swap my tires to see if a specific tire was the issue which I asked them to do and would have taken no time considering the amount of staff on board. The fact that they had no more than 2 cars (including mine) in at any point deepened my displeasure. When closing time rolled around the only thing they cared about was getting me out the door. Zero concern for my vehicle, my problem, or myself. Considering this is a corporate store for a well known American tire company, you guys should be ashamed of your service. I will go well out of my way to never use Goodyear again.
They are usually easy to work with. I would recommend waiting for online coupons and go during the week if you can.
Had a 10:30am appointment. I was told the car would be ready in the afternoon. It was maximum one hour job but the guys couldn’t even finish it by the end of the day. They have no customer service standards. I wouldn’t trust any thing they say and do.
Perfect service for appointment scheduling )))I scheduled an appointment, came at appopriate day and time, and only being here Ive known that they do not provide maintenance if I brought my own parts.The most interesting thing is how did they want to know what parts I need to replace and what parts they have to order? While scheduling the appointment there was no any question about car make/model/year... just the area of maintenance needed.So, Im happy to come here with my own parts, and to know that they can not help me because they have to request their own parts (having no clue what car I have) ))))So what this appointment for then? ...for visiting and clarifying the details? ))) Interesting case...Highly recommended :)))
They did a good job with my tires. But speed is just not their thing. I guess they are too busy and overbook or whatever. Best to drop off your car and wait for them to call you to pickup if you have family member or friend who can help you out that day.
Attentive, did a nice tire slow leak repair job, did not price gouge. They probably need more workers as they have a hard time servicing walk-ins and often require an appointment. Seemed very honest even if not super fast, which is good. Will return in the future for additional work as I trust the place. Thanks! Main mechanic seemed good.

I went in for a slow leak that I had in one of my tires. I dropped my car off and was told that it would take a while because they were pretty busy. In less then an hour they called me back saying that my car was done. I show up and completely expect to pay them for fixing my tire. The guy at the front desk tells me that it was just a leaky valve core and it was replaced free of charge. A+ for honesty.
Cant say I was a little more than hesitant to try this shop after reading so many 1 star reviews. But having just returned from my appointment I will resoundingly say, this place is as professional as they get. Not only were their prices better than anyone elses, my service completed in under the estimated time and the job well done, but the young woman at the desk was courteous, helpful, exceedingly patient, creative, personable, knowledgeable and fun! How many shop employees anywhere can you say that about!Needless to say I think the other reviewers just might be a bunch of whiners because I certainly will be returning to this place in the future.
I came here to check the tire pressure on all my car tires as I had to drive all the way to Montreal, Canada. The guy at the counter did it very fast and I am out in 2 minutes. I highly recommended this place.
Would be negative stars If I could. PLEASE DONT GO HERE. I had my car in for tires, alignment, and breaks... All was done wrong. The tires were not balanced right I had to take it back and they had to fix balance AND alignment that was also wrong.Two days later one of the brakes was literally smoking. Turns out the parking break got stuck... incredibly they claim that miraculously it broke right after they did the brake job it had nothing to do with them. 3 years old the car had never had an issue... DONT DO IT!!!!!
Tried to quote me double the price for when asked and then magically came up with the price they quoted me on phone after awhile. Decided to go elsewhere after that.
They do tires well. Installed and balanced quite nice but it did take them 5 hours to call me back to say my car was ready (with an appointment made).However, dont go to get your oil changed or any other service for that fact unless you have time to waste. Just brought in two cars on two different days and both took 2+ hours for an OIL CHANGE that should take no more than 15 minutes start to finish! Mind you, I had an appointment too for both days.
Updated review: the customer service here is not great. They left grease marks and dirty hand prints all over my brand new white car. The gentleman at the front desk was very dry and not informative. Waited over 2.5 hrs for a tire sensor installation and reprogramming. Previously had a good experience with Brad and Jim. I will not be returning.

Do not go here. Went for the first time for a routine oil change and the employee pushed the $70 synthetic oil on my 2016 Honda Accord with 12,000 miles. He point blank refused to sell me the $25 basic oil change so I left the store to go elsewhere. This is the third three year Honda Accord lease and my vehicles have never had a problem with basic oil, nor have any other shops tried to push synthetic oil on me. Total scam.

First time to use their service to replace a flat tire. The reception marked the wrong tire to replace on their document (I am very sure I told them the correct one). Fortunately the gentleman who actually carried out the work noticed the mistake when he did the final check and had to do it again. In total more than 3 hours waiting although with an appointment. 5 star to the gentleman who found the mistake but overall disappointed.
They did an excellent job on my toyota corolla, service was done very quickly, their prices are good, they match their competitor no question asked. Dan answered all questions, was professional and honest.Would do business with them for my other car very soon.

My tire had a significant hole and needed to be repaired, I went into Goodyear to see if they could help me out and the front desk attendant laughed in my face and said it better hold out for two more days since there were no appointments available. I called a different shop one town over and they were extremely accomodating and said they could take me right away. Now, I need to get another tire repaired (my luck), with my experience the first time, I went online and scheduled an appointment for me to drop it off and stay there since, obviously I would have no car. One hour before my appointment, I receive a call saying that there is actually no room available in their schedule for me to bring my car and stay and say I would only be able to drop it off for the day two hours later....for a tire repair!! This place has no idea of customer service nor do I think they care to. Never again will I bring my car here, it’s a shame that they are the closest to my house. Will absolutely be going to a different establishment in the future.
I wish there was a lower rating to give. Here is my recent experience. You decide if theses people are incompetent, liars or both:On Sunday May 6 I brought my car to the Easton Avenue store to have a slow leak repaired. The counter person told me the tire could not be repaired due to the position of the small nail in the tread, the spare was also damaged beyond repair and that the car needed all four tires replaced because they were cracked with dry rot. Since the tires were less than two years old with approximately 30,000 miles of use, I decided I was being played and decided to go elsewhere. I took the car to Pep Boys in Bridgewater. While they did agree the spare was unrepairable the tire with the slow leak was easily and safely repaired. They inspected the other tires and stated that they were all in excellent conditions with no cracks or rot. If I was as dumb as the Goodyear people hoped I was I would have left there with at least a $500 bill. Instead my experience at Pep Boys cost me $17.04 including tax

Do not go here for an oil change unless you like waiting for 3 hours. Between my wife and I we have used them 5 times and every time it takes around 3 hours even when we have an appointment. One time I did a drop off an it took them all day. Their excuse has always been that they do a complimentary inspection of basic systems which takes most of the time. But they do it even when you tell them you dont want it. Avoid this place.Update: decided to try again. This time tires and an alignment. Dropped off for appointment at 10:30 am and its now 6:30 pm. Terrible... Never again.

First time I went there I had a flat they fixed immediately. Second time I went there they changed my oil within an hour.I then decided to become a regular custumer and spent $500.00 on new tires. I got a flat shortly thereafter and the person who answered phone told me i had to make an appointment for the next day. I explained that I drive for a living but they would not fix tire immediately.I went to The Edison Goodyear dealer who fixed the tire immediately.My final visit to the Somerset Goodyear dealer I had a 1000 Am appointment for an oil change. I arrived there and was told I had to wait over an hour for them to begin meaning it was a 2 hour or more wait for a simple oil chAnge and tire rotation. I said I had an appointment at 10 and the man at the counter said it did not matter.I will never purchase tires from Goodyear again. The service sucks. Next time I will get my tires online at Walmart.

Professional but for some reason take 2.5 hours to do an alignment with rotation and balance. Other GY locations get it done in 30-45 mins. They have the same tools and hardware so I dont know why it takes longer.
I recently has a tire repair service done at the goodyear location in Somerset. KP and Tara were exceptional in their efforts in helping me get my problem fixed. KP was professional in everyway, he explained to me what was needed to be done with my car.
These guys are fraud.. beware of their prices and better dont trust them .. i have had several worse experiences with them over past few years.. i really only prefer thwm for oil changes
Wow, I wish there were fractions of stars to choose from. This place is a joke. Cant patch a tire the same day? Told my wife to drop her car off on a Friday to pickup on Saturday. Only reason we use this craphole is because the tires are covered there. Customer service? LACK THERE OF.

I wish anyone from that company call me to descibe how bad is the service .I had an appointment 2 monthes before and after i went there late for 5 min the lady at the front desk told me sorry you are late and i begged her to forgive me for the big late but she refused to serve me.Today i did an appointment and the same lady called me again to cancel that appointment which i did on the goodyear web site as the center is too busy today although there web site is free till 7 pm . If they have a problem with there web site they should fix it not to refuse to serve there customers
This whole store is terribly mismanaged. I went there yesterday at 7am for a diagnostic on my car and the manager told me to come back at noon. After waiting over 2 hours they still hadnt even broght my car into one of their service bays to be looked.this isnt the first time this has happened either plus their employees dont seem to care. If this is how goodyear runs one of their company owned stores I can bet their products are probably just as bad.

I made an appointment at 9 am and was there at 9 only to know that they had over booked for 9am and was told to drop off my car and they need almost a day for oil change(just oil change). Moreover the person at the front desk needs some help with customer service training. When I greeted him, I didnt get a response or at least I did not see a smile or change in expression on his face. How pathetic!!! Will not go there again.
