Ive only used Cadillac for my cars needs from the time I bought it. When Mavis opened in my area, I first went there to get tires. The guys there were very courteous, informative and just generally cool people. Very timely with all their work worth standards that meet the dealership. And to this date, theyve kept that level of workmanship. Levy and Gus took great care of my car. In fact, they told me it would be ready by 4pm; it was ready at 2! I told them I was going to hit the grill while I waited... I couldnt even get the coals lit! Fellas, I owe you both a plate! Look, if you want dealership quality work without the dealership price, give Mavis a look see... youll thank me!

My wife and I have been bringing both of our vehicles to this Somerset location since it was STS. The only time we didn’t bring a vehicle here was because Mavis didn’t handle the job. The overall personal relationship building by staff has diminished over the last year or so. Since Andy, Anthony, and a few other techs have left. We, to this point, continue to bring our vehicles here for everything this location can handle. Working with Levy has helped continue that personable experience that my wife and I had been experiencing over the years. Because of Levy, we will continue bring our vehicles to this Somerset location.

Super friendly and fast service. Came in for something that would usually take other tire shops hours to take care of but these guys got me out in record time! Levy was very helpful and knowledgeable and also HONEST and we all know how hard that is to find with any type of car services. I will definitely be returning!

Needed replacing front two tires, talked to Gus and he said he could do it in an hour. After under an hour, they replaced the 4 tires! Thanks again for the great job! Def recommending!

I had gotten pulled over for having a headlight out. I am a nurse working in New York and my ability to get to a place during daylight hours to get this fixed is limited. My experience with Mavis in Somerset, NJ was awesome. I did not have an appointment; but, when I called, Haley said to drop by even though they were closing in 45 minutes. I was thrilled they were open on Sunday, and that they granted me service. My car desperately needed an oil change. I was very impressed with how quick and efficient the mechanics are. Greg made me feel rest assured that it was necessary to get two new tires. They had a great sale going on, and I opted in obtaining the $10 warranty - so worth it. Greg was patient with me and answered all my questions. I recommend Mavis highly. I am one that dislikes going to auto shops; but, Greg and Haley made me very comfortable. The transaction went smoothly. Thanks for accommodating my auto needs. I will be back for a wheel alignment soon! Rating: 5 Stars! A+++++

Alberto and Fred were amazing!!! I got a nail in my tire while traveling through town and they squeezed me in at last minute to plug and fill it. It literally took them 30 minutes, if that, and they were as kind as can be!!! Seriously I was in tears when I got this nail in my tire four hours from home with my two young kiddos.. but they saved the day 🙌🙌🙌

Needed a tire and an oil change. They checked my flat tire and gave me a price on a new one. They didnt try to sell me 4 new ones. They ordered it Tuesday and Wednesday morning they called me to let me know the status of its arrival. They were friendly and efficient. They called me to let me know how it was going and again when it was done. I thought I would pick it up at the end of the day and they called at lunch time to let me know it was ready. Everything that needed to be done was done. The price was exactly what they quoted me and I was on my way. I have found a new place to have my oil changed. I will keep going back if this is a standard of service. VERY HAPPY with the entire process.

The service manager is very knowledgeable and have my tire valve stem with TPMS replaced without waiting. Gus is the guy. 😁

One of the worst experiences ive ever had dealing with a tire shop.Called them at 8 am asked them if they had a tire in stock. They didnt they said they would have them around 12. I came out around 12 and the guy at the front desk smuggly told me they didnt have it and theyll have it monday (it being friday). I told them by monday I could go somewhere else no big deal. I left and conveniently i get a call 7 minutes later saying they have the tire. I go back again only for them to tell me if i wait for my car they cant work on it. Even though I called at 8 and was told to come in at 12.I couldve just put the tire on myself but at that point its not worth giving mavis any money. Litterally go anywhere else.

Honest staff…Came in for breaks because I started hearing squeaking and was worried I’d need pads and rotors. Gus put my car up and called me shortly afterwards telling me the pads have life and I probably just have brake dust. He cleaned them off, charged me nothing and had it done in 30 minutes. Knowing as little about cars as I do, it’s really nice when someone doesn’t saddle me with hundreds of dollars in work I don’t need.

Being here 3 times now and always pleased with the service. The last two times were as a result of a bad tire on two different cars. Each time I was worried I had to change the tire; to be called and told they were able to repair the tire. This was a much cheaper solution than replacement. I appreciated the integrity to provide me with the appropriate service; without looking for ways to inflate my bill. I’m able to still enjoy my tires.

Im editing my 5 star review for this business that i had give them the last time i had used their services. Absolutely Unprofessional and Rude attitude by the Manager on duty - WILL NEVER USE THIS BUSINESS AGAIN!! I had brake work done at this business last month, and last week, car started making noises during braking that i wanted them to verify. I scheduled an appointment with them for 2 PM on Saturday, September 18. I arrived at their location a little ahead of time and after standing at the front desk for a while, un attended, the manager Gus?? came in. Describing to him that I wanted them to check out the brakes for the noises, he mentioned that he did not have enough time to check them out that day and for me to leave my vehicle behind (Saturday business hours being 8 am - 5 pm). Not wanting to leave my car behind, we mutually decided to schedule an 8 am appointment for today, Monday September 20. Reaching the business in the morning today (every single service bay was open, with no vehicles in them), the Manager mentions very rudely to me that Your appointment was for 8 am and it is now 8:12!! - Completely surprised by such horribly rude behavior!! Is this individual managing a business?? I have patronized this business for the past many years, NEVER AGAIN!!

While this is a newer location, I have known the manager (Andy) from other locations, when the company was STS Tires and Service. He and his staff are excellent at what they do and I always feel that my car is safe to drive after they have looked it over and worked on it. They will always review the findings with me and help me make the best decisions based on what I can afford to do at the time.

Witch I appreciated a lotAfter getting my car back I relIed there was still something minor that was wrong with it so I took it rite back to them and he put it rite back on the lift and fixed it for me.It wasn’t their fault I have a BMW .. they always have some issues that don’t always show up on computers .Anyways over all staff was great service was great no waiting for labor (minus waiting for the parts to come in)Price was alrightWill be going back

I had a flat tire that had to be replaced, so without an appointment I went to Mavis. They replaced the tire in a very short period of time and also installed wiper blades that I requested. Their courtesy and professionalism were impressive throughout my visit.

When I called to confirm my appointment, they said they were busy and it might take some time to finish but everything was finished fast.

I would hope that ALL Mavis stores are at least half as good as the Franklin Store. They take care of your problem and dont try and sell you un-needed products. The staff, from the Manager Andy on done are all friendly, fast and knowledgeable. I always look forward to going there.

I have used this place several times for many different service needs and was always satisfied until the last few months. Over the last couple of months I have felt bamboozled and taken advantage of by the staff here probably because I am a woman. Back in the summer my rear view mirror came off and when I brought my car in for an oil change I asked if they could please help me fix my mirror. They stated they would and charged me 79.99 to have my mirror glued on which in turn did not stay on! I had to return my car in which they tried again but still came off the next day. I was very upset with the charge and spoke with the transition team guy who said I should of never been charged that amount and gave me a card for a free oil change. Ok so it only cost me 40 bucks to have my mirror glued on which again came off the next day. I decided to go to an auto body shop that I was familiar with and they gladly glued my mirror for NO CHARGE and stated that it was outrageous the price MAVIS charged for my mirror!!!I decided to give them anther chance this weekend and brought my daughter car in with a flat tire and needing an oil change. When I believe Gary called me he stated that the car needed 4 new tires (which triple AAA guys said that they were not that bad) he quoted me a price of 684.00 which I thought was the complete total but still high since tires were 102.99 each and it was 89.99 for aliment with a coupon for 10 dollars off. When I showed up to pick up the car the total was $765!! I was being charged a 9.99 warranty for each tire, some computer charge and too boot a $60.00 oil change (synthetic) which I was not even asked what type of oil I prefer which every other place always asks before changing the oil!! I feel the whole breakdown should of been given at the time of the phone call! and I totally feel that I was overcharged because I am a woman!! No more chances for this store I am done and I will let everyone I know around Somerset and friends and family NOT to use Mavis! So disappointing!!

Didn’t notice anything different? Take your money elsewhere, this is a dishonest shop.Update- no refund or discount on past service, just them offering a $$ voucher for future Mavis work. You need to take responsibility of your employees!!
