I have nothing but the highest praises for this store! The General Manager Sara went above and beyond helping my boyfriend pick out a beautiful ring for my birthday. I’ve always shopped at The Castle but it means so much to have people go the extra mile to make things happen for you.

Update: the regional manager reached out and apologized for the issues we had. She assured me that the representative that sold us the ring no longer worked for the company. A company that is willing to make things right with upset customers is good in my opinion. Update to 4 star.If I could give them a 2.5 star review I would. When my fiance bought my ring here, though he and my sister knew my ring size, they refused to resize it because the first resize is free and they wanted to make it count. It really put a damper on the proposal and I had to spend four hours total driving back and forth from home to Somerset to get it resized and then pick it up. I am only giving them three stars because of how quick the resizing process was- it took only a week to be finished. Gentleman, if you know your ladies ring size, either refuse to buy the ring unless they resize it or take your business somewhere else. I cried over the fact that my ring didnt fit and my proposal felt incomplete for almost a week before I got my ring back. I would have much rather paid a to have the ring resized the second time than to wait and for things to not feel right and go this route. If your customer requests something, you do it, no matter if that is how you usually do things or not. If it is important to your customer that the ring fit when he buys it (which it was to my fiancée and he almost didnt want to ask with a ring that wouldnt fit because he knew it wouldnt feel right, but he did not feel comfortable speaking up to the sales woman) then you do what they ask. I love my ring. It is beautiful.

The Castle in Somerset is the best place to go for jewelry and guns!!

Took a Tacori platinum 1 1/2 carrot engagement ring originally purchased for just under $20,000 that had been incorrectly appraised by Bengayles at $10,000 because Bengayles incorrectly sized the diamond and The Crooked I mean Castle wanted to give $1000. REALLY.

They offered me 5% of scrap value then they make up lies and say they have 4 middle men they sell there scrap to and that is why they have to offer such a low price, all they do is lie to try to scam you . i for real think they are breaking the law and running a scam its called theft by deception, biggest rip off crooks in summerset if you have sold them any jewelry you have been scammed real bad because they only offer 5% of scrap value. i ended up going to daves pawn and getting a much higher offer down the road, go to daves pawn at least they wont lie

The Castle is Somerset is my go to for jewelry needs. The selection is outstanding and if you dont see anything that strikes your fancy, theyd be happy to find it for you. Though everyone is friendly, Sara and Cheyenne are beyond wonderful. They are knowledgeable, helpful and make the process fun. In addition to jewelry, the gun selection is also top notch. The whole operation is first class. Highly recommend. 😃

I had a gold ring added to my band to balance the look of my ring. They added the ring, sized it correctly and fused it together to look great! I will shop there again. Highly recommend.

Bought an engagement ring in march and proposed in April. So my fiance has worn it for 2 MONTHS and its already lost 3 stones. Said it had a lifetime warranty. Went to get it fixed and said its was considered abuse (shes a cashier not a mechanic) and wanted to charge me to get it fixed. Took it to another jeweler and he said it was a poorly made ring and that it was not our fault and quoted me half the price of getting it fixed. WONT BE BACK!

I think they are running a scam where they say they can only offer a super low price because they have to sell to 4 middle men they know its a lie and i would like to know who your 4 so called middle men are because there is none its just some story they made up to rip people off . this place is the biggest rip off scam ever and should be charged with a crime and or shut down but i bet they bribe officials to stay open

Scam and maybe breaking laws offered me 5% of scrap value went to another place and they gave me 100% scrap value . as far as i can tell this place is a scam and a rip off and maybe even breaking laws

I recently went to sell a piece of jewelry here and was quoted a price; upon returning to sell the item about 15 minutes later, they dropped the amount by $150! They would not honor the previous offer. I cannot begin to explain how upsetting this is, I hope others have better luck.
