The ShopRite of Somerset is clean and staff customer service friendly. Their selection of fruits and vegetables are always fresh and the store is well kept and organized. The Salad bar and food bar have a great selection of food for your lunch time dieting needs. I love coming here for a quick lunch break to grab a salad - literally 2 minutes!

A decent ShopRite. Its clean and organized for the most part. The prep food and produce area is spacious & laid of out nicely.Not my favorite ShopRite but it still does the job.

Nice area. Nice, clean, big store. They have Chinese food in the buffet section-it was bomb, really good, yall! I was impressed. I did not think it would be any good being buffet. Just as good as a restaurant..Good parking lot & good hours.

Clean and well organized ShopRite. Theres a good amount of self checkout registers. You can purchase lottery tickets and there is a pharmacy here. Parking lot is nicely paved and usually a good amount of open parking spots. Not a 24hr location but usually open until 9-10pm.

After years of being loyal Stop&Shop customers weve recently switched to Shop-Rite because it still carries all our favorite products. This store is modern and clean, and is almost never out of stock of the items we want or need, something that isnt always true elsewhere. We look forward to many years of loyal shopping here.

You got me! I thought your hot lunch buffet would be a healthy, warm, inexpensive substitute for the usual pizza and sandwich places but after eating your greasy, oily, disgusting food which upset my stomach all day I learned my lesson, last time Shoprite!

Love this ShopRite! Better than Bound Brook in terms of the quality of the care of the store. However I will say there is less of a selection than the Bound Brook location.Still good.

Purchased a fruit container with various fruits pineapple strawberry kiwi melon watermelon.Took home to enjoy while watching a soccer game. Remove plastic from container only to find mold on the strawberries try to salvage it by washing some stuff off . One of my guests grabbed a pineapple out of it and it was the center of the pineapple. Brought the container back to ShopRite was told I needed a receipt and the plastic receipt from the container I do have the receipt and the container but I do have the ShopRite receipt for purchasing it they would not do nothing for me very disappointing I recommend shopping at the shop right in bound Brook. Not the ELIZABETH AVENUE SOMERSET a ShopRite.

Honestly a really nice grocery store. We are from out of town and decided to walk here from our hotel. The shelves are well-stocked. The areas and amenities are clean and safe. The cashiers were really friendly. They have really cheap prices for the quality. We are used to buying walmart brand and this store brand has crazy good deals for fresh, quality food.

Lots of elderly customers needing handicap parking but NOT enough handicap spots. Hey ShopRite, get a clue about your local customers needs and add some more handicap spots PLEASE. And please dont respond with with are in compliance with state regulations...do whats right for your customers.

Very clean and organized, many fresh produce for good prices. Will definitely be my new go to shopping spot in Somerset.

This was my 3rd visit to this store. The store bathroom need to be updated and I like to see they have a isle with all organic or vegan products. I didnt interact with noneof staff and I used self checkout

Freshly cook meals cater to the nondiscriminatory customers.... Dont need to cook. Pick up fruits, salad, and soft pretzel bites sure to please the pickiest eaters like me, lol. Worth the trip to this part of the woods.

I was not in the best mood driving to pickup at 10 this morning. Your employee was so good, polite, helpful and pleasant I left with a smile. Kudos.

This store is relatively new clean and well stocked if you go early its not crowded

Terrible. everytime I go in this place, the workers are miserable and rude. I understand an employee shortage but if u have a customer standing in line for 15 minutes and then decide to say the guy in front of that customer is the last one she is taking, then THAT is sooo wrong! now having to stand in yet another line for more than 15 minutes AGAIN.

This is my least favorite ShopRite but the nearest one to me. I generally find the employees not very helpful or happy with there jobs. I dont see the same in other ShopRite stores I visit in nearby towns. Perhaps the management is behind this.

I like this one less traffic and always parking not bad.

Great selection and staff

This was my first time at this location of shop rite. I was in the area to pick up a few things to take back with me for the weekend. This location seems to be the only location for a few miles, it was pretty crowded. The prices are always rite at shop rite. If Im back it the area I will be back.

I have been a loyal shop rite from home user for many years. As of recent times the quality of work has dropped considerably. One time, I was waiting for an hour for my order and I wound up leaving. I was told they would deliver my order to my home instead, and when they did, it was the wrong order! Ive started using another grocery service and Ive been very happy.

Mask mandate not being enforced at all. Multiple people shopping with no masks. Store was very busy as well. Otherwise store is your basic shoprite

I inquired over a week ago about the LARGE filled bones for my dog, they did nothing thats okay, chewy delivers! And the spice isle was a waste of tine

Placed an order for delivery. Got half the items I ordered. Allowed for substitute got none. Called the store they said there is another number I need to call to get accesses to substitutions but they can’t find it. Did nothing for me as a customer. Did not fill basic items like bread cheese produce

1 star review because of lack of communication. In a customer centric business superior communication is KEY!Waited an hour after my Shop from Home order was ready. I understand they may have gotten jammed up because its busy. All I expected was a phone call so I wasnt sitting in my car waiting to leave empty handed. A 30 second phone call changes that.

Family lives close so when we visit we stop here for items we cant find at home.

Rat, bird and dirt coated bakery. The pastries are decent except when there are bits of burnt crumbs sprinkled on top of once frozen danishes and other filthy treats. Customer service is great, management is not. Reliability is certain as far as location and inventory goes, but overall the store is a mess.

I just experienced an extremely nasty check out woman not toward myself but to the order gentleman behind me and acting annoyed because there a few people behind him in line.

I love shop rite, but I am fed up with their bakery department! NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE OR CHECKS THE VOICEMAIL! EVER! The last 2 cakes I received was not what I ordered, and it was because of the person who took the order. will definitely be using another store for cakes from now on.

Not worth it to shop from home here. Always takes 20+ minutes to come out, they miss items, they say items on the order are out of stock even though they are if you go into the store, and when you call the store nobody picks up the phone.Given that we’ve been in a pandemic for 9 months you’d think they would be able to figure out shop from home by now. Writing this review after sitting here for 40+ minutes.

Shop from home’s system is a mess. They tell you to text when you arrive but they don’t confirm receipt of the text. I sat here for 2 hours texting and calling without being acknowledged. No one answers the phone.I don’t blame the young people who work there because they Seem to be working hard. Totally understandable to have a busy night but there should be a check in system so you can at least rest assured that someone will be with you at some point.

Poor Service Literally. My Granddaughter decided to cook Sunday Dinner, she ordered groceries to be picked up from Shopwrong, we get there pull into the slot #7,she called, texted whatever the sign said. We sat there alittle over an hour waiting wasting my gas, car was running do to its Freezing. So my Granddaughter and Grandson go inside, Im handicapped and they didnt even do the shopping yet. So theres another 20 minutes waiting for them to do the shopping. Never Again.

This is my least favorite ShopRite. They are always out of stock of staple items and limited selection. Staff are average. The ShopRite locations at Edison, Clark and South Plainfield are wonderful with South Plainfield being the Flagship in my opinion.

Following CDC guidelines all persons must have face coverage. Cashiers have shielding at their stations. Good variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, dairy products. Provides free Wi-Fi, digital coupons and self checkout stations. Has a RedBox video rental kiosk located outside

Not as good as north brunswick store a little bit pricey and not as much verity but overall decent n clean

Nice selection, better prices than Stop & Shop and Weis. The produce is always fresh. Bakery items are really tasty. Flowers are beautiful. The cashiers are so friendly, every time! Theyve also been wonderful during this whole COVID crisis. Lydia comes to mind as a cashier whos always really sweet and positive. Im now a Shop Rite convert.

Clean, great ready made options, great produce and meats, even nice flowers. Very spacious. Even when busy you dont feel too cramped. Its a great place to shop.

Clean grocery store with reasonable prices and frequent sales. There is a deli counter and salad bar to stop at for a quick meal. The store layout is different than most, with refrigerated goods spread throughout the store, not great if you want to pick them up last to keep them cold.

Cant bag your own? Rules. Yet the people entering cross past the people exiting. Two employees standing so close at exit I had to ask them to move to get out, but the rules are six feet apart. Follow your own rules before you make people flow the rules. Toch my groceries with bare hands but I can not bag myself.

Store can be a little cleaner and in order upon entering. They added more self service checkout registers due to covid . Food court is take out only now . But quality has stayed the same the sushi chef always says thank you have a nice day. And smiling. Wondering if some other workers can do the same .

I had the most rudest experience today, I’ve been out this way multiple times . From visiting family to staying at one of the hotels around . Since the Covid 19 I see it has been some changes, although I haven’t been here in a couple months . I wasn’t aware of the new shopping that’s being done here and instead of getting a understanding, patient cashier I got the rudest cashier . From the time we got into the line it was so much blowing breath and attitude . I am one who has to work through it all, so I am very understanding on how much pressure is out on us BUT yet I won’t ever be an rude individual whether I am exhausted, overwhelmed etc ....

In these uncertain times, the team here makes a great effort to help people maintain social distancing. Lots of restocking of badly needed products, lots of additional stress for the employees, but they are managing well and always make us feel welcome. Thank you!

Its a really nice ShopRite at a convenient location. The produce is all fresh and their food section is good as well. The only negative is their hours. I find the store to close earlier and open later than similar stores of its nature

I flip flop between this store and Trader Joes. Both have food We like. I especially like the meat and fish departments in Shop Rite and some bulk goods.

Front desk is always helpful and pleasant. Store is clean and orderly. Deli is brutally slow and the employees are generally cranky. In the past the deli employees were very good, its gone down hill quickly over the last year/year and a half. Would be 4 stars, Deli brings the place down.

Love this Shop Rite!! I drive 20 minutes to go here when theres one not too far from my house. Very cute and has everything... Hot and cold food bars are very clean and stay stocked.

I dont live in the vicinity of Shop Rite of Somerset. However I dont mind coming to this Shop Rite because its just that nice. The produce, meat and seafood departments are always clean. The aisles arent cramped. The staff have been friendly the times I visited.

Not the fanciest grocery store but I like that they hire special needs people and are generally very cozy shop rite. Not too massive, just right. The one thing they need it improve is their return policy... Better than stop and shop but a long way to go to equal Trader Joes or whole foods.

I have to say, Im really impressed with the quality and selection of groceries at this ShopRite. Ive been able to find so many vegan/vegetarian or organic options here that I used to only be able to find at a Whole Foods, at a lower price. I think the only thing I wish was better was their bread selection, maybe more fresh baked whole grain/seed breads. Overall, would recommend to anyone in the area.

Huge Shop-Rite with fresh fruits and a hot food buffet. A large selection of candies and many groceries. The self-checkout lines are also very convenient.

Everything is fine until you attempt to reconcile your receipt. Your main competitor in town has a wonderful receipt which tells you by line item exactly what is being charged per item, no guesswork. Change that one problem, Ive been asking at the store level for years, and your score goes up exponentially.
