Tried to return a game controller that had been purchased at the same store less than a day prior because it would not power on even after trying multiple sets of batteries. Was told from customer service that I could not swap or return for credit of any kind because I did not have the receipt even though I had all the original packaging and used our target account at checkout. Not being able to swap the exact same product out without a receipt is utterly ridiculous.

Everyone Ive come across at this Target is so friendly! Whether its inside at customer service/returns, at check-out, or drive up, we always have a great experience. This store is very clean and organized. The Starbucks inside is great too.

Placed an order online for in store pickup. Took longer than I expected to get the ready for pickup email. Once in the store, there were no obvious signs indication where to go for pickup.

Oh Target, you could do so much better. This Target is clean and somewhat well stocked. Employees are few and far between as is the custom at most retail places these days. The role of retail has become a serve yourself affair. Either way you could do worse than shopping here.

Friendly serviceI used to be a loyal Walmart customer but I had to go to target about a year ago because Walmart was out of the product I needed.I found all the sales help to be the friendliest group of people of all the places I have shopped.

Went last night to this target to get packaged creamer among other things not only was the box crushed but the creamer had been expired since February and still on the floor. I paid for it and drank a sip before I realized that target apparently doesn’t get rid of things that are expired, really disappointed.

The online shopping experience was easy and fast. My items were all in stock at my local Target which is a huge plus for me. I absolutely love the buy online, pickup in store option. The employee at the service desk made my pickup fast and easy. I was in and out. He was very pleasant and friendly too.

I have interacted a few times with Isaac in customer service. He is the face of Target with customer service, patient, accommodating and kind. He has gone above and beyond in helping with curbside in which I am not able to enter the store during the pandemic. He was so helpful with a return I had via curbside and even though he has a mask on I can see a smile in his face. His customer service is why we shop here!

This is quite possibly the worst Target store that exists. It is sloppy, an appalling amount of basic and essential merchandise out of stock, and good luck finding anyone to help, or check you out.I cant justify ever shopping at this location for any reason, and unless they restaff the entire store top to bottom, no one else should.

I absolutely love the pickup feature and that its free! I can have the items I need in two hours instead of two days!

This was my first time visiting the Somersworth location (around the end of April 2021). I was looking for an external hard drive and couldnt find any employees to help. I ended up using the Target app to locate the aisle where the products were and chose one based on the online reviews. I also purchased pre-packaged deli meat. My fault for not checking the expiration date, but after eating it for two days I realized it expired in February (over 2 months prior). Expired food products, particularly meat and cheese, is a consistent problem at many target location, not just this one. PSA: Check all expiration dates for any food products you purchase at any Target!

Who doesnt LOVE Target???? My go to store for everyday essentials and the CVS located inside makes it easy to pick up my prescriptions while shopping around. Usually I roam around and let Target tell me what I need!

Pat at the service desk is completely rude. Tried to not honor gift cards for qualifying purchases that they had signs all over the store for. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. So because she refused to give me the $15 in gift cards I will no longer be spending my money at target from now on. How employees are allowed to say not my problem and still have jobs just goes to show companies have no integrity.

We had an issue using a gift card and applying Target Circle discounts and the manager on duty, Julia, was quick to jump in and get it resolved! Store was really clean and electronics department employees were helpful.

I ordered off of baby-sit at the very last minute and I was able to run to the store and pick it up. If I had it shipped it would have arrived too late for the baby shower.

I always enjoy my Target visits, even if I do not purchase anything. Generally clean and organized. Though during this crisis, things are very spare and some what chaotic. No reflection on Target.

Good customer service when I had a hard time scanning something at the price reader. I also thought they had some good deals on clearance items and by using the circle ap. I prefer shopping here over Walmart because they have more natural items, the clothes are more modern, and I like how they have the circle app. I got razors for 99 cents using the circle app!

I have limited time on days and like the idea of running to get what I need without being distracted by all the great things I don’t need at that moment.Not to mention that out of all the Targets, this one is my favorite. Cleanliness and Organization are off the charts.

I can get lost in Target. Like some shoppers go ham at the Dollar Tree, I do the same at Target. However, I would make sure to include in my recommendation that friends should bring their husbands to protect them against the plain-clothes workers lurking near the check-out. There were two men behaving abnormally near the cash registers. Either they were intoxicated or they were poorly-trained store security. First, they were standing at a checkout that was closed. Then they hovered near my line. As my items were being rung in, they stepped into my line. When the last item was processed, they left my line. Leaving the store, they followed me closely and then went to a vehicle, parked right next to my mother. I am a female of small build with a masculine haircut. The end of my shopping trip was ruined by these fools, unsure if they were just workers or if they were hostile homophobic males.

Great variety of things

I shop at Target all the time in Somersworth. I have 4 kids so you can imagine how often I am here. I have never had a problem until one day I went in to exchange a few items my kids had received for Christmas. I was returning clothes that were either to big /small and a couple toys that were duplicates. When I approached the counter the woman looked at me and said “do you have a receipt?” I told her no and that they were gifts and I was looking to exchange and most likely would be spending more money. She rang a few items up and told me the items were no longer in their system and I could not exchange them but then proceeded to tell me that if I had the receipt I could. That doesn’t even make sense. The woman at the front desk made me feel like she thought I had stolen these items. She calls the front end manager over, Michelle. She then tells me I can’t return 2 pairs of pajamas and 2 bodysuits because they are no longer in the system and that I could call customer service and talk to them. I manage a retail store myself and could never imagine any of my girls not taking care of a customer on store level. Not only is my review going on here but I also posted it on the BBB. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Not the worst Target ever but the Starbucks employees always smell like weed, which I dont care about but Id prefer to have my drink made by somebody who isnt high. Store should probably consider drug testing.

Its just a nice store. Prices are reasonable, team members are friendly. Its somewhat disappointing to see pallets and cages on the floor after opening, the store overall is clean and well presented.

Every single time I order a cold drink they fill 3/4 of it with ice. Today, I order a green matcha latte and they completely fill it with ice. I order a drink not a cup of ice.

The staff at the Somersworth, NH store are great! I ordered a coffee maker online to pick up in the store. They made it easy. Thank you.

Its a nice target. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They did a great job getting the TV we needed and helping load it in the car.

Its a good Target a little on the smaller side. I like that it has a Starbucks cafe. My cashier, Taylor, was outstanding. Just wish that Target would have music!

Never, ever buy gift cards here. Unless of course if you want to play roulette with potentially throwing your money away. Twice now, Ive purchased gift cards that dont work, Olive Garden and XBOX... Purchase at your own risk, because there is literally NOTHING you can do about it. Companies say its the stores issue, Target says Oops, cant do anything for you, no return or exchange on gift cards- even though we took your money and you have nothing to show for it... Consider yourself warned.

I have ALWAYS preferred Target over Walmart and so glad when we got one in town! While I do have cartwheel/coupon issues at times, the staff is friendly and does their best to correct the situation. Only one time did I find a childrens battery powered character toothbrush set on a 30% rack, it didnt ring that price and when I show 2 employees, they just removed the sign, but did not allow me the display price. I was disappointed, but considering the times I take a lot of times with coupons/cartwheel, I let that slide.

Fast, friendly service at the counter for pickup. Item not in store I could get online quickly. Pickup area right at the front of the store.

Typically a good experience, but today was a disappointment. Long lines, one self checkout closed, cashier extremely slow and among the worst encountered at any retailer.

Went to Walmart to try to get a TV, got more help from another customer than anything. Went to Target for a TV and Travis helped me. Not only did he help me he made a connection was extremely polite. This man deserves a raise. He explained more than what’s nicer and functions of the TV. Will absolutely start going to Target before I think of Walmart again. Travis I can’t thank you enough for helping me find what’s best for me!!

I went to Target in Somersworth this weekend and I encountered some really rude employees towards the front. I kept walking to talk to another employee and everyone looks miserable and is so busy putting stuff away. There is a good variety at this store, but it is a mess and everyone looks like they hate life. I would rather not shop in that kind of environment. I just went home and ordered from Amazon / Ebay and had to decompress from the miserableness.

Nice clean and organized..downfall is the attitude in the staff, both times Ive visited Ive had an issue with my purchase and/or return. For how much money people spend at a Target (Im very guilty) you would think the customer service would be great. From my last two visits Im questioning if I will continue to shop here.

Like a mildly classier Walmart.Located directly across the street from Walmart, its obvious who Target is competing against. In a comparison between the two store, one should expect to pay a slightly higher price in Target, but be rewarded with a slightly higher class shopping experience.The store is generally clean, the staff, if you can find them, are generally friendly.There is a store-run cafe with very tasty pretzels, as well as a full-size Starbucks, if you need some fuel for your shopping. Most of the store has a great layout, but the seasonal corner often seems to have been hastily thrown together.

What I needed to buy was at a good price and then was an additional discount!

Ordered a slow cooker on Cyber Monday and had it shipped to the store although it would have been free shipping to my house. Email notifications that it was in went to my Clutter box and after 48 hours Target cancelled the order and suggested I reorder it and pay more money for it. Should have been notified on the order form of the very short pick up of 48 hours or lose your order. I did a chat online with them and asked if they could adjust the reorder price and ship to my home. I was told it wasnt their policy to do anything like that. Wish I had ordered from Amazon!

Way by than Walmart. Their floors are all clean unlike Walmart.People at Target are more friendly they will take you to area and help you find. Walmart if you find person, most Tim e they point you in right direction -3rows on right take a left then the gou are there...but you dont see product and you leave..life at walmart.

The best part about target is their quality of goods and clean buildings that give a great professional atmosphere.
