Spoke with alleged Supervisor Melanie Warwick who explained to me WHY i was billed twice within a 10 period after ONLY filling out an application. Also told me they will deliver when ever they want and there is no way to find out when. Major Fraud alert after telling me they would not cancel my account on a recorded call I have on hand. Great Job Melanie!

My technician, Steve McDonald, was great. We thought my furnace may need a new switch but after he did some checking, he determined I needed a new thermostat. So far, so good. He took the info he may need in case he has to replace the switch at some point. I was extremely happy with the service call, Steve was very concerned and very professional.However, originally I made the appointment for a Thursday between2 and 4. I got a call that said the service department wouldnt honor a call between those hours and made another appointment for 12-2. Guess what, Rymes-Steve got here at 6:00 PM! I know the techs report in during their work time and someone should have called me that he was going to be that late.I am very, very happy with the service call and Steve! Merry Christmas!

Could not be happier with Rymes and their entire staff from the Technicians to Customer Service Staff. Woke up to a Blown Boiler. Called Rymes they came out the same day, I had a quote (which was very fair) for a new boiler in a few hours and they were out the next day and completed the job that day. Rare to find fast, fair, with solid customer service nowadays. I could not recommend them more highly.

Steve MacDonald is the most professional technician I have ever dealt with. He was willing to show me how the systems operated in order to understand how to use the heating the system. I run a very busy facility with high volume tanks and its key that the heat runs efficiently. Rymes is lucky to have him! I cant say enough about him!

I just had my gas stove serviced by Rymes service rep Eric. He worked incredibly hard on the problem and persisted until he was able to solve it. This required a few trials and a replacement part. He demonstrated a deep knowledge of his work. Before he left, he made sure the stove was cleaned up as when he found it. Very professional and personable, an excellent representative for Rymes.

Rymes team takes good care of me. The office staff is always available for my inquiries. I am a stickler about having my system serviced regularly and they set a reminder for me about scheduling when it was time and followed up to get me on the calendar. Eric Quint came out to my house and when he arrived, I let him know that I wanted an education and to understand all of the equipment and how my heating system works and what he was going to do. I was going to be one of those stand over his shoulder and observe customers that likely drives him crazy. He was very professional and accommodating. He walked me thru all of the components and explained how the system worked to keep my house and hot water warm and he showed me the nozzle and how he changed the filter. Before he was through, I left my house and felt 100% comfortable with having him there and asked him to lock it up on his way out. I appreciate his time and the additional effort and attention that I receive from Rymes. Thank you.

After receiving promising information from a Rymes representative at the Dover Harvest Festival, we contacted Sandra of Sales, got a great price, and switched to Rymes. Our new tanks were delivered today by Ethan, a most professional and pleasant man. We are already very pleased. Thank you!

Called, after a 3 minute hold Seth came to the line. I asked a simple question what is your current propane price? Apparently he did not know and had to transfer me I am still on hold 6 minutes later, and I am now hanging up.Guess they lose a potential customer. This may be an outlandish idea but whomever answers phones at a heating company, perhaps make sure they know the current price per gallon for the fuels you sell?

I have been working with Rymes since August of 2015 when I became the Owner-Innkeeper here in Ogunquit. Steve has been the Serviceman for the majority of my calls and has been nothing less than great to deal with. Because of issues with our gas stoves Ive had to call Rymes on several occasions. Steve is extremely friendly, professional, experienced, and explains everything in language that I can understand. Hes here when I expect him and goes right to work. Customer service with Rymes is excellent.

Ethan has been to our condo complex twice and both times he was a delight to deal with. He answered questions, made suggestions and double checked all was in order before he left. A great service call

When I bought my house, the previous owner had used Eastern, so I used them too since the tanks were already installed ..... Big mistake. After a year or so of extremely poor and overpriced service, I started shopping around. On a friends recommendation, I gave Rymes a shot, and Im so glad I did. The rates are much better, deliveries are on time, and any calls to customer service Ive made with questions or concerns have always been professional and extremely helpful.Last week, I ran out of propane for my hot water heater. (I found out afterwards that it was because there was a hot water line that had been leaking for a while, which in turn burned all my propane.) When I called Rymes, Not only did I have a truck on the way for a delivery immediately, they offered to exchange my tank for a larger one to prevent running out again. It was installed and up and running again within a few hours, WITH NO ADDITIONAL COST! They even offered help and suggestions on what to do to with my leaking water line. Absolutely 5 stars for Rymes Propane!

My electric oven finally broke down. I replaced it with a dual fuel range. It took 3 weeks to get an install appointment which was pretty frustrating considering in September Rymes was out doing other work and at that point they prepped for a new gas stove. (I knew then I would be getting a new stove soon.) However, the staff was very friendly. Steve McDonald was great. After getting the stove installed, he took the time to tune the burners and explain the benefit. If it was not for the fact it took so long to get the appointment, this rating would have been a 5.

I cannot recommend Rymes Propane & Oil highly enough.When I moved into an apartment in Epping, the building was already set up for Eastern Propane but due to previous experiences with them, I started shopping around. This is how I discovered Rymes. Their superior customer service staff answered all my questions (of which there were many), explained the options, and were able to set up an appointment that week to have my propane swapped. All this, coupled with lower prices, made it an easy decision to switch.The technician arrived on time a couple days later to complete the tank swap. While inspecting the lines connecting the tank to my apartment, he found major safety issues including leaks, that were addressed and repaired that day.I cannot thank Aaron and the customer service team at Rymes Somersworth location enough for all their hard work and for consistently being a pleasure to do business with.

Terrible service. Your service department came 3 times to try and fix my furnace and could not figure it out. They wanted to come a fourth. You wasted a lot of my time and money. I ended up fixing the problem myself self when I diagnosed the problem.

Im unhappy with the lack of service rymes provides to me and i have always paid on time they think they are bigger than anyone i will see what the attorney general says i begged for oil for two days while you didnt care a bit if we run out of heat you will be tracked down thank you mr rymes one more day and then you will pay do your damn job and do it right

Pine street Northwood NH. I have asked for my propane delivery since the end of January. I guess they just skipped my home because of the road conditions, getting stuck in my neighbors driveway, Which my brother pulled him out with his truck, drove right by my home and I havent had a delivery in a month. Irving and DF Richard deliver there weekly, I told them to remove the tanks so I could have another company install tanks and they just dont seem to care. In my phone calls to them in an attempt to get oil or remove tanks the head gentleman there was very rude and did not care about me running out of oil, I have three other accounts with them, I will not give this company another dime.

If you say your going to deliver on Monday or Tuesday, do it. Dont make me call and ask where you are and then be told your not coming until wed. Finally, got ahold of a manager, and after a brief discussion on customer service, the truck will be here today.

Rymes has done a great job when ever we have needed there services.

On January 2nd 2018 we called every number for Rymes to get a few day early delivery. Not one phone number works??? Very distressed by lack of customer Service at a time when it’s 2 degrees. Not good

Receptionist was extremely rude when I called to order fuel after being on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. This was not the first time, but it is the last. I have been a costumer of Poor Boy Fuels for years, ever since Rhymes bought them out the service has been terrible. I miss Poor Boys, never calling Rhymes again.

This oil company took advantage of my elderly parents. My parents were part of a monthly budget plan. They did not realize they had to pay more than $1 extra per gallon of oil to be part of this monthly budget program. When they found out they went to cancel and was told they would have to pay a $100 fee. My parents are on a fixed income and every penny counts, especially during the cold winter months when they need to buy oil. My parents canceled and were told the almost $1000 they had in their plan would have to be a credit instead of being refunded. After several phone calls the $1000 was refunded but they still had to pay the $100 cancellation fee. Not much respect shown for our elderly folks.
