This is a run of the mill Target. I would have given it 3 stars but the guy at checkout was rude and had the personality of a Cactus 🌵

Terrible store!! Every time I come to this store something goes wrong!!The last time was today, order for pick up which is supposed to save people time, not here.. don’t bother!!Long line, one employee.. when it was my turn, she couldn’t find my items that were supposed to be ready for pick up.. they weren’t anywhere to be found…I decided to leave and will cancel this order. Waste of time.I will never come back to this store.

Remodeling cosmetics department nice and bright. Stocking and restocking shelves should be ongoing with many changes from summer to fall.

Really nice Target. Clean. Has A Starbucks. A nice Starbucks, and the girl at the counter was extremely friendly. I dont live in the area, but if I did, I wound come here often. Very nice place. I wish the Targets near me were this nice.

I was impressed with the CVS Pharmacy, the staff was awesome.

The most important reason for the score I selected was because of the customer service I experienced from Lee at the Somerville, MA location. Lee provided exceptional service! If you would of asked me this same question before talking to Lee the score would of been 0 due to the horrendous experience I had at the Everett, MA location. I cannot stress enough how much Lee went above and beyond for me and really made me feel like a valued customer. THANKS AGAIN SO MUCH LEE!! For turning a horrible situation into a good one!

I got to the store at 7 am this morning so that I wouldnt have to bring my young children with me, but I was told I could not come in because of senior hours. There was literally no one around. I understand the idea and why this was needed last March, but please reconsider this. My trip today was essential and my life situation also makes it so that 7-8am was the time that I needed to come to the store.

Great, helpful staff. An employee working the self checkout guided me through downloading google pay when I realized I forgot my debit card. She didnt have to do that.

Nicks customer service shows that he cares about his work I applaud him for making my shopping experience extremely efficient. Jenny his Co worker who helped out as well was great as well her personality made my shopping experience that much more pleasant as I was in a rush.

Nice and spacious Target for all your toiletries and household shopping needs with an updated cosmetics section. Also a Starbucks inside!! Parking lot is ginormous and there is an auto supply store in the same strip. There was some road construction but seems to be fine.

The prices are fair and the workers where great and polite.

I had to return a bike and was amazed by the help I got from an employee named Asha. She not only helped with these return buy set me up with the app to track my purchases and save receipts but also helped me set up a protection plan and even talk talk to the agent on the phone to verify it.She is definitely the person to see of you need help at reception.Thank you Asha. Best shopping experience in years even as a return. 😁

Target is always so up to date on the latest trends for EVERYTHING which I love. Also the have a great range of products and styles. Jakari at the Somerville Target was very helpful and friendly. His interaction with me brightened my day and made me even more likely to keep shopping at that target location.

The alphabet truck by Melissa & Doug is at $16. Some self-checkouts use only card. No cash accepted at some self-checkouts.

Im loving Target all of a sudden.I got items that were 30-60% cheaper than Amazon (webcam and mason jars), and those were their regular prices, not sale prices.The app/web made it easy to shop multiple stores and do curbside pickup.

I have always had a positive shopping experience at Somerville Target. I pick up my prescriptions at CVS within Target and always do a little shopping :-)

It was super fast and the employees are very friendly. Everything from ordering online to pick up my order was the best idea ever, specially during challenging times.

I can find items at Target that I cant find at a regular supermarket. When I picked up my online order I had other items to purchase. The clerk pointed me in the right direction immediately.

Had trouble with my return but got it quickly resolved when I spoke to the manager.

Overall this is a very good store but the bathrooms could be cleaner.

Very upsetting experience at this Target. Were looking for Christmas Tree lights. They didnt have any so we left. A couple blocks away the police pulls up in front of us and accuses us of stealing something. Had to go back and prove we didnt do anything. Used to be our favorite store, now we dont know if we are ever coming back.

Very clean place. The shelves are neatly organized. They also have the biggest cards and game section I have ever seen at any Target.

Spacious. Relatively fewer customers. Safe place to shop during pandemic.

Too much parking. A guard rail makes it difficult to get into the lot from the sidewalk at Somerville Ave and Medford St.Target needs to demand the city provide customers with better access and assist in providing the same. Target and any landlord must demand to be freed from any city-imposed rule that requires such a criminally large parking lot in such a vibrant city where land is so expensive.

This location is within walking distance of my apartment, and it has been my go-to store for groceries, pharmacy, toiletries, etc. while interning in the Boston area. The self-checkout service works very well. They have had most of the food I’ve wanted—and at a reasonable price—but note that they don’t have any produce.

Rita, the woman at the checkout aisle, was incredibly friendly and personable. She made an otherwise normal experience memorable and engaging!

This place was a mess, everything on the ground.

They are contracting with a shady and not honest towing company. I was forced to pay cash to get my car back. The towing company told me they accept cash only, after I got there with cash, I found out they have credit card logos on the front door!I will never shop from there. Target should do better job when contracting with a towing company

My mother and I go to this target all the time and I would never steal anything. I was carrying my water bottle as I went into the store. As I went into the bathroom this woman runs after me into the bathroom and accuses me of stealing. She yelled at me and had no respect in the slightest. This was a very upsetting experience. In other target stores this behavior would not be acceptable.

I have never had any issues whenever I shopped at Somerville Target. I recently placed an online order and went to pick it up. I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Quick and simple. Loved it.

Large store, clean and helpful staff. Good selection . I ordered a desk on line and it was ready for pickup within a hour or 2. employee helped load it into my truck.

I love coming to this Target, it is never that busy, that staff is super friendly and the store setup is great and easy to get around.

Good amount of parking. Clean, neat store with friendly helpful staff. They have clothes, house wears, food. Great place to stop in if you need a few things for the weekend. Protein pancakes and snacks ect.

I had a tricky return that required a lot of patience and understanding from the staff, and they were all extremely helpful and willing to work with me until the issue was resolved. Id definitely recommend this Target location!

I was shopping at this Somerville store and my daughter liked a Sherpa rotating chair which was the last one on the floor I asked the associate nearby if she could help me with that . She was just great she helped me look up the inventory as it was the last one and that too on display she called the front desk to confirm and on my request I was also able to get a discount on the item. Definately a happy customer her name I think was Kathleen .I would give a five star for her great customer service.

You can pretty much get everything there, you can get a few odds and ends and while your there pick up stuff for dinner I want to do a whole week so grocery shopping there but it’s definitely convenient if I have to pick up a few items and can grab stuff for dinner as well. Also I’ve never had a problem with anything I thought there .

Well. . I have been to lot of target stores but this one is not that good. Its messy and you wont find things you are looking for here. I prefer self checkout here as those lanes are more and faster than others. Parking is in abundance and you dont have to worry about that. Food section doesnt have lot of vegetables so dont assume that you can buy all groceries here but bath section is decent in terms of variety.

I have a bad experience in Starbucks (08-03-2019 during 11:15 pm - 11:25pm) at this target. There was one lady who took the orders of the customer who were standing behind me in the line and got their drinks earlier than mine for free. However, the girl who rang me at the register was very polite, seemed to be unhappy with situation and made my drinks. I don’t have to do anything if the girls behind me were not charged but FIRST COME FIRST SERVE !!!! method should be taught to that specific barista...!!!! I hope management team at this store will take this matter in concern and provide great customer service experience. I wanna take a sip of my coffee and shop!!!!

Love coming here. Lately been coming here more and more since they have enough employees to assist. Just ask and you will get what you need. Pricing is like Target is, lower and fair.

Not the biggest Target, but is clean. There is a good amount of parking and a Starbucks inside. The Everett Target not far has a larger grocery selection including wine and beer, and more furniture, but if you need anything else this one is usually good for it.

Well I have a foot injury and a friend suggested I go to Target app & theyll gather my items for me. Then I just go to customer service to pick up! Not much walking involved. Loved it!

Although this Target is smaller, it’s very organized.

As far as targets go this one is great. Its in a prime location for Somerville residences. Its never too busy which is a bonus. The inside is very well kept and clean / organized.

Standard Target. Convenient, and a wide range of stuff for reasonable-to-cheap, but nothing exciting or special. Nearly all childrens clothes are character branded. :-(

I shop at this target at least twice a week. I went to make a return and unable to do so where I did not bring in a photo ID (bring ID for future reference). This was not the problem, as I understand company policies. The problem came from the women at the customer service desk who delivered a rude and sarcastic attitude as I asked about other options. For Target being this big of a franchise, I am surprised they dont better train their employees on how to speak respectfully to customers.

Its your standard small-sized Target. Unlike what the pictures show, it does not have an expanded grocery section. No frozen food, produce, or cold items other than milk and limited ice cream. Its clean, with the level of product stocking and customer service youd expect from Target. I suspect the towing may be coming from the store to the left of here (its a shared lot) - so park away from there. If concerned, Id ask a Starbucks or CVS worker how it works. Theyd be told where to park to avoid it.

Target has really good deals and specially the 1-3 dollar baskets by the main door has really good stuff. ( is amazing )

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION, THEY ARE TOWING CUSTOMERS CARS FOR NO REASON. MY ELDERLY FATHER WENT THERE SATURDAY EVENING TO PICK UP HIS PRESCRIPTIONS FROM TARGET PHARMACY FOR APPROX 15-20 MINUTES, WHEN HE CAME OUT HIS CAR WAS GONE. TARGETS MANAGEMENT DID NOT GIVE ANY OF THE CLIENTS EXPLANATION WHY THE TOWED PEOPLES CARS. IT COST $180 TO GET IT BACK, THE TOW COMPANY WORKERS ARE RUDE...............

Target is not your all in one dept. store.It offers a limited amount of products within each dept.There is pretty much a standard in the retailer industry, where as, the big department stores only stock what consumers generally buy more often.If you need an item that’s out of the ordinary, none of the big retailers will carry it.Target, Walmart and others all play the same market.When I was little, were talking 50 & 60’s...I can remember going to Jordon Marsh (Macy’s)My Mother shopped their a lot and my father would go to Sears & robuck, because in those days those retailers stocked whatever you needed.Today the Manufacturers & retailers lead the consumer by the nose in whatever direction they want.In years past when you went into a store to buy something and if it wasn’t on the shelf, the employee in the isle could check the back room, today a lot of dept. stores only stock items out on the floor on the shelves.So, if it’s not on the shelf you need to go to another store or competitor and now you’re being inconvenienced.....Storing things in the back room is tying up all those Nichols and dimes Which is more important to them..... and all retailers think that way.There are very very few businesses today that actually practice quality customer service.So when you happen to do business with one, stay loyal to them because they are rare.Tony BiancoMassachusetts

Typical Target you would find anywhere else but its a bit on the smaller side. The location is right past Union Square by 28 so in a convenient location. The staff is friendly and helpful and I was able to find things pretty quickly given the smaller size.

Its a big target so its better than the target express in Central Square. Also theres a lot of parking so thats a plus. There is a cvs pharmacy with reasonable hours and staff so thats good. Theres also Starbucks inside.

Went in to buy a router for my house and was given extremely poor customer service by the older gentleman working in the technology section. Incredibly rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend going back after receiving such poor customer service. Off to Best Buy I guess...

I go to this target a lot for convenience sake only since I live about 5 minutes away. It has what I need almost all of the time. Its small and easy to navigate and I can get in and out quickly. I do prefer the larger targets though with more variety. Its a little messy at times too but like I said its more for the neighborhood. Definitely glad its there but wouldnt travel far to get to this Target.

Huge and well staffed even on a busy day. No produce but good pantry section. Lots of household goods and clothes. Typical big box Target you can get lost in.

A good target, as far as the chain is concerned. Lines arent very long and they have most everything a house needs. No fresh groceries though.

I love target, and this one has late hours. They may have out of stock items, but it is great for college students and people in the Boston/Cambridge area!

Only target in the area. Pretty well stocked and kept up nicely. Area around the store is a little run down but a typical target besides that. Has a Starbucks inside as well.

Usually not very packed in the cashier area. If youre looking for somerhing, might want to look for an employee for a bit but when you do, theyre very helpful. Its close by many residential area too.

This is my local Target as helpful as the staff is. They layout is illogical, they are in the process of renovating and it will still be illogical.As for asking about return policies I get get conflicting information from my location Somerville and Everett, MA. Everett is polite, professional and knowledgeable. As for Somerville I asked about makeup returns, the lead for makeup said we changed our policy. I asked what it was, since there was nothing on the receipt or posted. She stated you could only exchange for the same companies items. Okay, was my reply, she then said go to Customer Service and ask, I went to Customer Service and asked. Customer Service told me to go on to the website to find out.I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and told they werent available, Yeah!!!I am exchanging something today lets see what happens. I should probably say I worked in retail for many years. And, held many positions. This bs was inappropriate and unprofessional.

Lots of things for crafting. I bought there candles also. Will recommend for everyone to visit. Very friendly personnel. Great choice of books, of course the price is not very cheap, but most of the time books are very noticible. Ive seen there the book called The Mindset and also 7 Habbits of highly effective people. I think that is a good reading.

Went in with my boyfriend and was followed around the store, even stopped because my they thought we was stealing. The cashier was rude and was snickering and gossiping RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.

The parking lot owner towed my car even though I shopped at the stores and left under two hours. $144.33 later worst experience I have had. I went to Target then Advanced Auto. I had a receipt of my purchases and no one cared. I was told by the tow company there is a person who watches the lot. I could not find this person. This was a clear mistake and no exception was made. Completely unfair.
