Excellent products! The gentleman in charge of the shop told me off for “not knowing what I wanted,” even though I came in and showed an exact picture of the kit I wanted from the website. Summary: great products, passive aggressive customer service.

They have a great collection of tools, ingredients, and books if you are interested in exploring options and ideas to spice up your cocktails. And they’ve always got opinions and guidance if you like chatting with somebody about making more of your cocktails at home.

Incredibly friendly and helpful, items sold are of high quality and they explain where your dollar goes (e.g. why does this stirrer cost $10 and the other $20). I bought a gift set for a friend and I regret not keeping it for myself.

Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out gifts for my friends and family. I needed gifts for both novice and experienced bartenders, and they had perfect options for both. Ordered a set of boston shaker and Luxardo maraschino cherries for a Christmas gift. Unfortunately they sent the wrong cherries and I didnt find out until I had given it to the recipient since the product was wrapped very neatly in brown paper bag. I emailed customer service and theyre sending me the correct product. Appreciate the quick resolution and will definitely be purchasing from them again.

This place is the place to go to if you are a bartender or aspire to be one. The tool selection is great. The book selection is fantastic. And the customer service is phenomenal. The owner remembers his regulars and take great pride in his customer service and his staff is just as invested as he is. No other place in Massachusetts tops this one! Highly recommended!!

Took a cocktail class here last night (8/31/2018) and was very impressed with the knowledge of the teacher, Anthony. I thoroughly enjoyed expanding my cocktail knowledge and the drinks we made were better than Ive ever made at home. Would recommend to anyone and will likely be coming back at a future date for another one.

This shop ROCKS! I am just getting into cocktails, and Boston Shaker is EXACTLY the spot I need to put together a world-class bar. You can buy their pre-made kits (that dont include the liquor), or theyre more than happy to give you recommendations on which stirring spoon is right for you. They have an INSANE amount of bitters, too, so make sure you try them (mix in with the soda water they have available). Also, books and cocktail recipes galore! And cocktail making classes!

My brother and I received Fathers Day gifts from our respective wives for a class at Boston Shaker. The class surpassed my expectations. We learned so much during the class,and had a great time.
