If I can give 10 STARS I TOTALLY WOULD!!!! Found an image of an amazing cake for my daughters Sweet 16 and was a little unsure if they would be able to pull it off but wow was I wrong! Taste, texture, and the outside of the cake was SPOT ON!!!! EVERYONE WAS SOOO AMAZED EVEN MY DAUGHTER SHED A TEAR OVER HOW BEAUTIFUL IT WAS. I have been going to Blue Sheep for quite some time now and they never disappoint. A little pricey but you pay for convenience. Communication was also fabulous. They had contacted me over my daughters vacay just to ensure the cake would be perfect to our liking. They definitely DELIVERED!!!! Thanks again to the bakers at Blue Sheep until next time!!!

Most moist red velvet. A good variety of dessert goodness 😋. We’ve also ordered birthday cakes from this store and our guests raved about how good they cakes were. It’s outdoor seating area puts you right in the action of downtown Somerville Division street concerts; people watching or just alfresco chilling.

Beautiful cake! However definitely on the sweet side. The buttercream filling was the same height as the layers of cake.Also, was not impressed by the way the cake was packaged. Would’ve liked a window box large enough to accommodate the decorations on top of the cake. I think it would have done wonders presentation wise.

We got our wedding cake from Blue Sheep Bake Shop and not only were they great to work with to get our design spot on, but the cake tasted incredible. We received so many compliments that it was the best wedding cake many of our guest have had. We got funfetti with a Nutella filling and it was amazing! Thank you Blue Sheep Bake Shop!

The place was clean and the workers were really nice. Goid selection of a variety of items that will fill your sweet tooth. O went with a Raspberry Bar which was $3.95. A little on the expensive side for what you get, but I dont mind spending a little more when they deliver it at a high level. The packaging alone was over the top, but the bar was amazing. So good. They had the whole experience covered from start to finish. I cannot wait to try other items on the menu the next visit to Somerville. Great Job.

This place is great to satisfy your sweet tooth.They do have some great cupcakes and macrons to choose from also some cookies and chocolate doughnut.The ice cream also tastes good.The service was quick not much wait time.Would highly recommend.

Amazing! Found this bakery randomly online and placed an order for my friends birthday about a week and a half in advance. Chose from their awesome selection of to-go cake designs. It was so beautiful! We were so happy with it. It looked beautiful and tasted great! Price is reasonable too!

I picked up an online cupcake order there. Note that Division Street is closed to vehicles, but its a fun pedestrian mall area, with several restaurants with outdoor seating.The staff was very nice, and my order was waiting for me on the front table, ahead of my pickup time.I havent eaten a cupcake yet, but my wife says they are THE BEST cupcakes!They also make AMAZING CUSTOM CAKES!

Baked goods were fresh and all the flavors were great! Some things were very rich in flavor, but nothing was too sweet. Even the ice cream was good.

We have had desserts from Blue Sheep multiple times so we knew we could trust them to make a great wedding cake. They made it easy to choose options and helped with the amount of cake we needed even when we postponed and changed the number of guests a few times. Our cake included fresh flowers which came out great and they also delivered it to our venue which was about 30 minutes away from their shop in Somerville. Thank you to Karin and team for all that you did to make it perfect!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Blue Sheep!The ordering process- I had decided last minute that I wanted to have gender reveal cupcakes (just in case our other idea didnt work out). I called 6 days before my event and asked if I could have them ordered in time. I was told this was no big deal and to just get the flavors in before the end of the day. I called back and Karin was not in but the associate took the order and told me Karin would email me to confirm.After 2 days I was surprised I hadnt gotten anything, so I checked my spam post. Of course, Karin had emailed me the same day to confirm the order and to add a link for payment. I immediately filled it out and sent her the secret gender picture.Pick up was quick and easy, and they confirmed my order without letting me know the gender. There were no other identifying marks.Cupcakes!- The cupcakes were so cute and perfect. They were exactly what I wanted. They were designed perfectly and the gender hidden in the middle. Not only did they look amazing, but they tasted amazing! I got compliments from every one of my guests.Karin and her team did such a wonderful job. I will definitely keep them in mind for any other baking goods I may need. Thanks Blue Sheep!

Excellent service!!! We ordered our sons first birthday cake and smash cake, it was beautiful and delicious. Thanks to Karin, We have to really appreciate the time she spent to discuss with us to visualize what we had in our mind. She did computer sketching too. Overall we had a very good experience, we will come back again and definitely recommend to our friends.

Cute little shop on division Street where you can get ice cream or cupcakes. They have these over-the-top milkshakes that are great for a kid on their birthday.

Placing an order was a bit difficult because they are so busy. I found myself calling again or sending follow up emails to get a response. I was told to place an order two weeks in advance but I’m glad Karin was able to squeeze in my order the week of. I did find them to be a bit overpriced just based on experience with other custom bakers.If you’re not familiar with the area like me, picking up my order was tricky. Blue Sheep is not on the main road where the GPS tells you it’s on. It’s actually in a alleyway where cars are not able to enter.As far as taste and presentation.. great ! I was very happy with how my cupcakes turned out and they were delicious. The cupcakes were moist and tasted like pound cake almost (vanilla flavor).

This is my go to cake shop for birthdays from now on. They have pretty cakes ready to go and priced right. Now a days cakes are so expensive and doesnt always taste great. This is good cake all the time. The cup cakes are delicious too.

I Have nothing but great things to say about Blue Sheep Bake Shop and the job that Karin and her team did. I have always been a fan of their cupcakes for the last 5-10 years. The flavors are great in the cake and not just the frosting like other places. I immediately knew I wanted them to make a cake for my wifes 50th birthday party. I worked with Karin personally on design and price options. She sent me off from our initial meeting with a bunch of pictures on the web site to search through and pick from. I made my selection and everything turned out wonderful. You can see the beautiful design in the pic and everyone commented on how good the cake tasted. Best decision I made with respect to this party. The cost may be more than a Costco or normal supermarket, but for a super special occasion where you want supreme taste, personal service, and something memorable that will have your guests talking, Blue Sheep is the way to go.

My first experience with Blue Sheep was a cake that was at a friends Bridal shower. Let me tell you - Ive NEVER seen shower guests go up for seconds and even THIRDS of cake! This cake was GONE by the time the shower was over. It was a life-changer and we all continue to talk about the cake (lemon with lemon cream cheese icing, for those curious). The taste was lengendary. After that, I started using them for all my party needs. Custom cakes, a quick tray of macarons (I recommend the raspberry lemon) and ESPECIALLY their out-of-this-world cupcakes (their cupcakes are lighter than other trendy bakeries,the icing is lighter than buttercream, and the flavors are also so lively). Karin is a joy to deal with, and considering how busy they are, always made time to answer all my questions. Will continue to use them (and recommend them) in the future :-) Im attaching photos of the cake they made for a baby shower (complete with adorable sculpted monkey) as well as the cake from the bridal shower.

As a new resident to Somerville I took an adventure to Main Street for the Friday Cruise show. Cars aren’t my thing, but I enjoy watching people and eating ice-cream! I have had gelato in Italy and as such it is difficult to compare to ice-cream in the US. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of their ice-cream! Go check it out!

I absolutely adore this bakery. Whether I am just stopping in for a treat or ordering a custom-made cake in advance everything is always so delicious. I ordered a custom-made cake and although I felt my description was clear they checked in with me in advance to ensure everything was how I wanted it before I came in to pick it up. Great communication. By the way,The macaroons are my favorite.

Got a baby shower cake here and cupcakes!!! Honest AMAZING!! First of all they were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. It tasted absolutely amazing too... The customer service woman was so helpful and amazing throughout the process... and picking up was easy and they even helped me bring everything to the car!! I was so happy with my experience ordering a custom cake with Blue Sheep Bake Shop for my moms 60th surprise birthday. I have found that you either pay for a beautiful cake or a tasty cake... rarely (if ever) have I gotten both!! This cake was not only beautiful, but it was truly decadent! I really appreciated the level of customer service from the staff at the front of the shop and from Karin while discussing my ideas in person and via email. I took Karins suggestions to heart, and Im glad that I did. Would not hesitate to visit Blue Sheep first for any other events!

Very disappointed. Texture and flavor were average. Nothing exciting about the cupcakes, can find the similar flavor and texture in Walmart cupcakes too. Not going back.Tried Strawberry champagne, Oreo, salted caramel, cannoli, snowball, Boston creme, death by chocolate, and gluten free brownies.Got fooled by decorations, wish there’s more flavor in the cupcake than in the cream.Most of the cupcake base is same, only the cream changes based on the flavor name.

I have ordered twice from Blue Sheep in the past month and both times have gotten above and beyond customer service from the owners, Karen and Abel. This added to the fact that their products are top notch in flavor, appearance, and detail make Blue Sheep my new favorite bakery. I cant believe I have lived in Bridgewater for 17 years and Im just now discovering this small business gem. Five stars from our family to yours!

She made my cupcake order her priority and assured me that she would be happy to deliver since I couldn’t travel from PA to NJ during this difficult Covid time.Little did she know that she was the only bakery that would deliver to the requested location and without the delivery my Mom wouldn’t have had a birthday celebration. After the delivery my Mom was so thrilled and excited to sample each adorable cupcake! This bakery is a special place!!!

I had ordered a cake at the last minute for my little guy’s birthday. We are in the middle of a move and couldn’t do it myself. I wasn’t even sure if they could do it because I ordered it less than a week before. My 6 year old had very specific instructions about what he wanted and as any other parent I didn’t want him disappointed on his birthday :). Karin at Bluesheep was awesome, responded quickly, gave me options/ suggestions and delivered the cake on time. It was way better than what I had imagined. He was super excited and all of us loved the cake. It was delicious and we managed to finish it in less than 2 days.I have always wanted to try Bluesheep Bakery and I am so glad I did this time. Had the strawberry champagne, Guinness chocolate, birthday cake, Baileys Irish Cream, and cookies & cream cupcakes. All were delicious.Guinness chocolate had a subtle flavor and cream in the middle - the 2 flavors went really well together.Strawberry champagne (large size) had a firm sponge with mild champagne flavor, and great strawberry frosting.Cookies & cream was a favorite, with a very creamy frosting unlike any other cookies & cream dessert.

We ordered a custom Baby Shark cake from here, for my daughters 1st birthday party. The cake was so beautiful and yummy. Our guests loved everything about it. The cupcakes and macaroons we got from here were such a hit. Karin was soo helpful with helping us choose and customize everything. We are so so happy!

Very disappointed, we called last minute and asked if something could be made, in was on a Monday and I needed it Thursday afternoon. We spoke to someone who took are number and email and said they would get back to us. We received an email saying they couldn’t. I was, very flexible on what I wanted, I went in to the bake shop on Wednesday and went to look at the cakes in the case, the person behind the counter, was trying to help me decide what to do, and she recommended me calling again on Thursday morning and talking to the baker to see if they could come up with something different to help me. I decided against this only because I already called, and talked to someone a few days before. I bought a cake from what they had. The first problem was the box the cake was put in didn’t fit the cake at all, some of the decorations broke before I got it to the car. The cake was decorated beautifully, the cake was very moist, but the icing and filling is extremely sweet. For the cost of the cake, I think the customer service, the packaging (cake box), and taste should have been better. I am very disappointed. The cake shops that used to be in the area were so much better, then here.

Two words: LEMON RASPBERRY!! My wife and I bought our wedding cake from here bake in 2016, so to celebrate our 4 yrs I bought some of their lemon raspberry cupcakes for our anniversary and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT!

Karin is amazing. She created a gorgeous 3 tier butterfly themed cake for my daughter’s christening in a churros flavor. Everyone said it looked and tasted amazing. The mini cupcakes were beyond delicious as well.

I ordered a smash cake from Karin at the last minute for a photography session and she created the most beautiful cake for us!! My son was not really into smashing the cake so we got to take it home in almost perfect condition and have it for dessert. It was unbelievable delicious!! It was my mother’s 100th birthday and I wanted an extra special cake. Blue Sheep was recommended by a friend, so I met with Karin to discuss the cake plans. She listened to what I wanted and came up with a perfect design. I was a bit nervous as it seemed very ambitious. The day of the party came and she personally delivered the cake. I was overwhelmed…it far exceeded any of my expectations. It was so incredible that none of my guests realized it was a cake, they believed it to be part of the party decorations!! Once we finally cut into the cake, we were delighted by the deliciousness of the red velvet taste. I look forward to my next event, so that I can again work with Blue Sheep. I ordered macarons from Blue Sheep Bake Shop for my wedding favors and was so pleased with the results! The ordering process was fantastic. Karin responded back to me quickly, provided pricing and details, and worked with me to create something that would match my wedding colors. She also packaged them all in little boxes so all I had to do was add thank you labels and they were ready to go! They were so delicious, everyone was raving about them for days after the wedding. We ended up with some extras, so I stored them in the fridge and they were still pretty fresh a week later when we got back from our honeymoon!

Made an appointment. Drove over an hour to shop which was a feat in itself to find. Arrived Ahead of time to meet my appointment, owner was a no-show.NO phone call, NO message, NO email NO Nothing.Didn’t look much like a bakery to me when I walked in very disappointing all the way around.

Blue Sheep Bake Shop delivered such an incredible anniversary party cake yesterday! It was absolutely amazing and surpassed any of my expectations...totally adorable and everyone is still buzzing about it. After all the picture-taking it was hard to cut into it but it was delicious as well...there is not one piece left (I had been hoping for more leftovers!). Karin was super-easy to work with and even though it was an incredibly busy time of year came up with additional ideas to make the cake even cuter.

I have used Blue Sheep Bake Shop 3 times, two baby shower cakes and my wedding cake. They decorate their cakes beautifully, and it also tastes delicious. They are super busy so you have to make sure to keep in touch with them, but end result is great! Karen is a pleasure to work with, and she made our wedding cake gorgeous, and it was a special oreo cake that me and my husband wanted, which we loved! I cant wait until our 1 year anniversary when my husband and I get to eat our cake again!!

This review is for my sons birthday cake in 2016. We ordered the cake well ahead of time but got the wrong design and wrong flavor. We called/emailed Karin and there was not a hint of remorse in her words - all she had to say was there was some confusion. This is very unprofessional Karin, especially for a special occasion!Id have to add that Karin was great to work with in designing the cake and had a few suggestions. We went with Mango Mouse which was premium flavor. On the day of the party we got Red Velvet cake and the design was different from what we agreed on. It was also missing the age/year.

This is my most favorite bakery ever! She does amazing specialty cakes and well as a good variety of cupcakes and ice cream cakes! The macaroons are my reason for weekly stop ins I have to try some every time I visit...

I tried to order here for my son 1 st birthday cake after looking at the great reviews. But they are so bad with follow up and taking orders. I followed up with the shop for more than a week to give the order and walked in twice to shop in person but they say only the bakery owner can take the special cake order and the owner never calls the client even after leaving voice mails and notes on their notice board.Due to their bad ordering process and negligent communication method, I lost more than a week of my valuable time and had to go with other bakery in hurry. So if you have couple of months for the party and tons of patience please try to order here.

Ordered a Halloween themed cake for a birthday party and the details were amazing! The cupcakes are perfect every time and the new mini cupcakes are just the right size for an afternoon sweet craving! Recently had the build your own ice cream sandwich and what a clever idea it is! Staff is always friendly and I highly recommend to all.

I would regularly stop by and pick up a treat after work so when my company needed someone to provide a dessert menu I thought of them. This is the last time I will ever recommend anyone ever because they never returned calls and was very difficult to get a hold of. We would have easily gone with someone else except the fact that by then we were too close to the event date and we were too committed. I gave them a 2 simply because I had enjoyed them before this nightmare.

The ice cream is great, but the cupcakes and brownies are memorable. It is in the pedestrian area of Somerville and has plenty of outdoor seating and limited indoor. The staff has always been friendly. They also have crepes and cakes, but I have yet to try them. The shop feels a bit cluttered, but still the best place for ice cream.

I called late in the day for a special order cake and Wow!! what a beautiful job they did. Not only was it beautiful, it was delicious and... they delivered it to the restaurant for me. Product and customer service are amazing!!

I contacted Karin about making a Naked Cake for our family wedding dinner here in Somerville. Karin worked with me on size, pricing and flavors. The cake came out better than I could have asked for and tasted amazing! Our entire family raved about the flavors - we chose honey cinnamon cake with vanilla buttercream. For our daughters 1st birthday we chose Blue Sheep Bake Shop and the Sweet Tweet birthday cake. This cake was amazingly beautiful and tasted even better than it looked.
