Wow. So damn good. Also they pay their workers a living wage! Really cool to see that. I had the braised lamb, coffee, and orange juice for $32. Sounds expensive but it tasted expensive haha. I feel perfectly priced. The design inside is really cute with the ability to see right into the kitchen where everything is being prepped. The bread was airy, fluffy, and fresh. The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned and mixed in with potatoes, breakfast hash style. Eggs cooked perfectly. Nice fresh salad on the side. The black coffee was so good! I forgot to ask the brand. Wanted to buy the beans myself. It is a long wait. I waited 40 minutes just to sit 1. But I am not bothered by that at all now with how damn good this food was.The staff were very busy but very polite and when they had a chance to give you their attention it was undivided.Great work! Will come again next time I’m in Boston.

Delicious good with lots of attention to detail. Is a small cafe with an open kitchen concept for a very homey feel. I loved the chicken hash and my partner and her mom really enjoyed the veggie hash and mushroom omelette. All came with delicious fresh baked bread. I thoroughly enjoyed my Autumn spiced latte.

We have been wanting to check out Juliet for quite some time, so we were thrilled to see they had opened back up for in house dining. Now we can say we know what all the hype is about! We had an amazing experience dining at Juliet to celebrate my birthday and our last night in Boston before moving to North Carolina - special thank you to the staff for squeezing us in before we took off!We went in for the multi course menu production, Marseille March, and were absolutely blown away by every single dish we had placed in front of us. The service was fantastic, the presentation was amazing, and the food was to die for! We loved getting to hear the story behind each dish and how the dishes for each course were selected. It was a super exciting dining experience having each dish be a little bit of a surprise, and very cool to watch the branzino prepared table side. We loved the open kitchen concept and getting to peek at our food as it was being prepared. We felt like it was perfectly portioned too, enough to fill my fiancé who has a very healthy appetite. The perfect place for a more intimate dinner and celebrating a special occasion. Can’t say enough wonderful things!

Has too much hype in my opinion. Service was really slow, we were waiting for 20 to 30 minutes in between each dish. The dishes dont seem to excite the palette and is very simple. If you were to get the courses I would recommend just getting the 3 course. The 5 course does not add too much

I really enjoyed this place. We were in Boston for a wedding, and wanted to have a nice brunch the morning of. We found this place while exploring on Google, and it sounded nice.It was the perfect choice. It was in a cute little neighborhood and had a very homey feel. It was a smaller establishment, but I think it was good for the feel of the restaurant. This place is a tip free establishment, which is really cool. The servers get paid an established wage, but the prices of the food dont seem to reflect it. They were friendly and easy going. We started with a bloody Mary, which was delicious, and we ordered the Riviera sandwich and breakfast burger with a fried egg. Both items came with a small salad and some potatoes. The potatoes were different, but pretty good. They had dill and some mustard or horseradish. We also had a ginger molasses cookie and a cranberry cream cheese coffee cake. The whole meal was delicious, and I would recommend it to a friend. Hopefully, someday I can go back and try some other items.

Juliet makes wonderful food, and I particularly loved their deserts (or maybe theyre better called snacks, or treats). I ordered the burger, with an egg, and loved every bite. The bloody mary was delicious as well. But my favorite was the ginger molasses bar. It was super good. One unfortunate thing about eating at Juliet is that its rather small.

Had a great dinner outside on their patio. They had heat lamps to help us stay cozy and took great care by distancing tables due to covid. The chicken and dumpling soup was amazing! We had pasta dishes for our mains and they were both comforting and a decent portion. Good drinks, very friendly service, and I like that they support local female artists. After dinner we were gifted scones to enjoy for breakfast the next day. That was a really sweet touch. We will be back!

If you are in Boston and like fine dining devoid of superficiality, do check out Juliet. This is how neighborhood restaurants should be. The European style gratuity-free, open kitchen restaurant is an exquisite eating and visual experience.Owner Katrina Jazayeri told me a little about her ethos, dining at Juliet is a bit like attending a dinner party: the walls are adorned with genuinely used cookbooks and copper pans. Jovial, uncanned conversation occurs here amongst the staff. I was able to talk with the chefs as they cooked which is always a treat.Juliet seemingly punctures through the proverbial orbit that is every pedestrian hipster restaurant that lately many of us are starting to grow weary of. It doesnt feel condescending, pretentious, nor resting on its laurels; but rather quietly fanatical about the food and hospitality. Bravo!

I want to like this place - their food is good and the staff are friendly. But there are two problems with this place. The portions: I ordered a $12 frittata on toast and received a side-plate sized serving of two small pieces of bread with a small cut of frittata on top of each - with a small salad taking up the other half of the small plate. This is not only too small for the price but completely unsatisfying as a meal. I left hungry. The odor: There is a kitchen grease smell permeating throughout this place. You can smell it as soon as you get in the door. But wait until you get home. The smell has embedded itself into every single layer of clothing I wore into Juliet. I left smelly. If this place gets bigger plates or lowers the price of their small ones, and also gets an extractor fan, Id say check it out.Until then, Id recommend staying away.

Dining at Juliet is not a low key experience, but the people running it are sweethearts and the food is pretty great. Juliet opened a couple of weeks ago so they are still up and coming. I went for the first time today for brunch. The menu doesnt have a variety, its very limited. No one has a set position, everyone is doing everything. They accidentally brought us 2 coffees because 2 separate people brought our order. They brought the food for the table next to us, but there was no one there and it was an accidental order I guess. The location is great, with ample street parking, the staff is nice. Everyone needs to have their set roles and know what it entails. Its a bit chaotic not, but I think it will fix up after they get up to speed. I will go back in a couple of months because I see it as having a potential for great breakfast, lunch, and brunch.

I shared a birthday dinner here with my wife and it was all around a very pleasant experience. Juliet is a breath of fresh air in the fine dining scene in Boston. They strive themselves on treating their staff fairly as is exemplified in the way they compensate. They do not accept tips and pay accordingly. They do community outreach such as pay what you can evenings. In addition the food is phenomenal with great attention to detail in a lower key environment that doesnt try to present itself as anything other than what it is. Very bad customer service. I am unable to comment on the food quality as I was unable to eat any!! I had booked 3 tables for a party of 13 for my husbands birthday brunch. I had checked out the menu and everyone in our party was excited about the brunch. Once we got there, there was a whole new menu with about 4 items on it and stuff that was really basic like soft boiled eggs and toast with different toppings. What was surprising is that even though I was on the phone with the hostess trying to get the seating arrangements done, she never even thought to mention that they were running a different very limited menu! I asked if they could at least make us some omelets, or even hard boiled eggs and all they could say was no. At such short notice we scrambled to find another restaurant nearby that could accommodate such a big party and decided to leave. The staff at Juliet did not even apologize for the confusion and lack of communication. The food here might have been good, but I wont ever go back with such rude customer service.

I wanted to like Juliet given it’s good reviews and charming atmosphere, but the food wasn’t up to par. I had the J-1 sandwich, which is an egg sandwich on a steakhouse roll. I was expecting a lot more of the roll, like a nice dinner roll, but it was very mediocre. The sandwhich was small and didn’t have a lot of flavor. The coffee was drinkable but not very good. Great idea but I feel for the price and the idea of fine dining the food was bland, and lacked substance/texture.We had a 3 course meal with wine pairing. The cold soup/noodles was ok but no real taste just sort of cold noodles with not much texture. The main was monk fish with rice. The fish was cooked amazingly, very delicate, but needed more seasoning. The dish lacked texture so to compensate for the fish/rice the rice bed was cooked so that it was crispy. The desert course was panna cotta again no real texture, and maybe slightly over set. The dish was served with marshmallow and burned rice to give it texture. The burned taste was a bit over powering for the dish.My wife and I both agreed that the best way to know if you like the food is if you would be back, sadly for the price and feeling slightly underwhelmed by it we dont think we well be back. :(Nice experience and staff were amazing and super friendly.

This place looked very promising when I read the menu. However, the staff was extremely pretentious and the food was absolutely mediocre. The portions were very small and it was overpriced. I asked if the gazpacho was heavy on the bell peppers they said no. It was indeed mostly bell pepper flavor but since there were only like 3 tablespoons of it it wasnt a big deal. The risotto was horribly under seasoned the rice was still firm and it was watery. A few slices of orange and some whipped cream for dessert and really didnt seem worth the price. I guess you have to be a hipster to like this place and not someone who appreciates good food.
