A beautiful butcher shop although its small the quality is there but I did notice the crab legs look like a block of ice so I passed on them ... Best dog food I have ever had the pleasure of feeding my fur babies is in house brand ( open nature ) chicken and brown rice. When I read the ingredients I was impressed.. thanks 👍

Safeway is a great store to shop at! They might nor always have my favorites, since the pandemic started, but no one else does either. Love the layout, prices and deals!

This store is the main grocery story in Sonoma. Overall, it has a good layout and everything you need. However, we have noticed many times how sloe it can be. Cashier folks vary but many of them are very slow and sometimes hear them chatting it up with customers. No sense of urgency or concern for waiting customers. I have also had to find a hand basket in store from time to time. It is what it is and the store itself meets our needs but be prepared to demonstrate patience depending on your luck.

Cookies from the bakery are great. Frozen pizza selection is excellent. Butchers are really friendly and they have many meats, including some nice kebabs. Produce looks fresh and the store layout is intuitive.

Really good grocery/ supermarket. Hopeful staff. But be careful they pack every items in single bags 🎒 then charge you for everyone

We started at Sonoma Safeway this morning during their Seniors Hours (7am to 9am)on Tuesday and Thursday. They were letting anyone in. Saw lots of young people coming in.A lot of their shelves were empty. No eggs, hamburger, bread low, meat section skimpy, paper products, toilet paper hand towels out. Fruit and fresh vegetables low or no stock.Went to Sonoma Whole Foods, they had only one door to enter and had someone only letting Seniors in. They had lots of bread, eggs, meat, and fruit and vegetables . Better stocked store.Well go the Whole Foods next time.

You know what they offer to all customers a nice service thanks for doing like that!

You cant pick up your own donut drinking but they do have these really good oatmeal cranberry cookies

This is a nice Safeway. Good selection of groceries and a reasonable, if small, selection of wine, beer, and liquor. Even when its busy, the stores layout, staff, and size make it a good experience. The only thing I would say is if you have to head west from the parking lot, its not always so easy or safe feeling. I often go around the block just to avoid making a left onto Napa or wait for left turning traffic on Broadway.

Find almost anything needed for pantry, plus. BIG store, wear walking shoes. W/C accessible from parking lot through the store. If you belong to the Club, you will find lots of bargains. Prepare for 3 customers per check out, but they move fast. Little eye contact from checkers because they are focused on scanning your items

The prices on some items here are more expensive than Whole Foods! It is a clean, spacious store with a very busy parking lot. This is not my go to place to shop.

Im sure most of the staff is nice but working under the hedge funds management must be a nightmare. Staff is so demoralized and it shows. It seems as corporate has intentionally written off this store. Its full of skanky junkies and if you cant find an item, good luck! No one will ever be there to assist you.Sadly, Whole Foods across the street pulled almost all of the middle class and higher away, leaving only the poor brown skinned folks to fend for themselves at Safeway.Suburban Safeways are largely beautiful.

I get groceries delivered from them. Mostly had good service. But my last 2 deliveries were not good. I received a whole bag of someone elses groceries. Felt bad that someone was waiting for their food and would not be getting it. I tried calling the deliverer but could not get them to answer or leave a message. Could not reach customer Service. The last delivery had the wrong paper work so I couldnt see what was delivered or substituted, etc. My next order was to Luckys and it went much better. My suggestion is to order early delivery of you use Safeway. The bad deliveries came after 6pm both nights. Otherwise I love the idea of delivered groceries for us handicapped seniors.

I may go there a couple of times a year...mostly for cleaning products. I pretty much dont buy food there as they dont have much of anything Organic in produce & their milk & cheese products are not high quality.I did buy a couple of planters there that were a good price & look good.

Very clean and well organized. Beautiful produce department. Nice selection of hot and cold prepared foods. Large bakery area. Great bottled beer selection. Great selection of wines and cheeses.

Love our local Safeway in Sonoma CA. I usually shop in there when I get off work at 12:30 a.m. The nicest kindest people work on that shift. I couldnt be more satisfied with their customer service! Eric Neil and Paco are the best. They go above and beyond Duty to get me what I need or am looking for. If it is not stocked on the Shelf or in the freezer section even if it is not their Department/section that they are working in.

Clean well organized store

Its a smaller safeway with limited product selection. It is decent for a quick bite at the deli or general food shopping. If you are looking for something specific, it will be hit or miss. They have great cookies here!

Ive instructed my better half to shop elsewhere, the Sonoma location is understaffed at night leaving service to fall by the way side, Unacceptable.

The staff at the sandwich counter was very unsanitary and seemed uncaring at work. They were out of pickles and went to go grap a jar, but when she came back did not put new gloves on, or wash her hands. Her gloves were also ripped quite a bit

Several remodels over the 30+ years Ive been in town and it only gets better. Its a massive beautiful store and i get the privilege to shop at a place where the family of employees consist mostly of rockstar veterans that have put in More than 20 years.

The customer service station at this Safeway is particularly awful. There is never anyone there and if you do want help you have to go fetch someone who usually acts like you are asking too much of them. But tonight I experienced extra terrible customer service from what I can only assume was the night manager, he was rude and short with me. If you need customer service skip this Safeway. ps Teach your employees people skills.

Safeway in Sonoma Ca. Rivals some of the best grocery stores. Im saying this store is right up there. First thing is the size. Huge. Deli counter, the cheeses selects, wines and craft beers all remind me of whole foods.

I recently broke my ankle and had to go use the handicap cart. The staff were all so helpful and Friendly which was much appreciated.

Im up dating a post.Im not impressed with Safeway after the remodel. They seem to have fewer products, smaller sizes, and higher prices. The employees,.. ehhh, there ok I guess.

24 hour shopping. Deli counter has great chicken. Hard to get serviced however. Sometime the wait is really long. They need to use their pull ticket system to make receiving of service equitable.

Ok Safeway needs to keep there prices lower so that the people with low incomes can afford food that is In there budget. Allow the people to eat better and be healthier. Less sickness and better health.

I was pleasantly surprised when my self-check out register bonked. The staff member took excellent care of me while the computer re-booted. I left a happy customer.

Good solid store

Easy to shop. Some stores are just a maze. This store is layed out nicely. Employees are friendly, produce is fresh and bakery items are yummy.

I almost exclusively shop here. It tends to be busy but hey that just means it is a safe bet. I always am in and out of there with all the basics no problem.
