After living with the Worlds Ugliest Formica for 15 years, I reached out to Stuart at Vermont Precision Stone. His sons Greg and Taylor came to my home for templating with their brand new, super impressive laser measurement system. They answered all my questions amiably and, ultimately, I opted for honed silver gray granite. Fun fact: before the stone is cut, you see a rendering of precisely what your counters will look like with that specific slab, and you either choose to approve or make changes. The installation was utterly smooth (see below) and my counters are absolutely stunning! (Im still in the staring-at-them phase.) Its a pleasure to support a local, family-run business that more than lives up to its name (precision).

We had Vermont Verdi countertops installed in our kitchen. They are beautiful. The expertise used during this whole process was excellent from the time we ordered, went to the quarry and pick out our stone, to the installation. There is no mess left. The whole job was done to perfection. I can’t say enough about the quality and perfection at the job site. From beginning to end it was a pleasure to do business with Stuart and his crew.

Vermont Precision Stone gets 10/5 stars in my opinion. Stuart, Greg and Taylor are the most fantastic people to work with. We bought our first home back in May, and before we even closed on our house we knew we needed to do some work on the kitchen. Stuart Stevens was the first contact I made for countertops; his attentiveness to the needs of my family, and his friendly interactions with my kids sold me on working with this company. It was a great decision for us. Greg and Taylor spent extra time in our home just to interact with our family, to ask questions about our goals, and were incredibly friendly people. This company is excellent in all respects. Prompt return of all inquiries. Excellent installation service-Clean, respectful, onetime.I had two retro fit jobs for new appliances and fixtures. The job was treated with the same consideration as new construction. I have renovated a historic structure in all aspects and this company, owners and employees rank in the top 1% from the many contractors I have had here. The first job, they fit me in so I could use my new stove that the kitchen designer measured incorrectly. They were doing a local job and sent the crew over. The cost was so reasonable and did not gouge me.

We couldnt be happier with our new countertops. The staff at Vermont Precision Stone was so friendly, knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with. Our realtor recommended them to us when we were looking to put our house on the market and increase our homes resale value and did it ever! Were a little sad to leave our nice new granite countertops behind but as soon as we get settled into our new home we will be contacting Stuart once again to transform our kitchen. They were great I live in the Islands and they were on time every time. They were clean in all aspects of the install of my granite counters. I wanted my kitchen island bigger and was told by other company was not possible. They said yes it can be done we have metal brackets the will support the granite from underneath. They even re hooked up my sink saving me the trouble of getting a plumber out to the islands in Vermont to do a simple job. I could not be any happier with the job.

We like the finish work of the installed soapstone. Unfortunately, the owner and his sons underestimated the weight and complexity of the counter delivery and caused damage to our newly installed hardwood flooring. The counters took longer to install due to a measuring error during the selection process. This was not an error on us as the customer but rather Precision and their supplier. We would have rated them a 5 without the damage to our flooring and delay.

We just had an amazing experience with Vermont Percision stone and would recommend them to anyone thinking about getting new countertops. They are friendly, communicative, professional, and reasonably priced. Stuart was extremely thorough explaining all of our options for countertops and worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were getting exactly what we envisioned, all the while staying within our budget. Not only were the installers extremely professional and courteous, but they also went the extra mile to be extremely careful with all of our new appliances and were meticulous with the installation. We couldn’t be happier with the finished product!

His two sons came to our home and they used a state of the art laser system to template the counters. Within 2 1/2 weeks my countertops had arrived.
