Friendly, welcoming, wonderful store! The staff (including the majestic store cat, Bina) are helpful and engaging without being overbearing. I’ve rarely felt fully welcomed in a hardware store, but this one is a delightful exception. Thank you! I will definitely be back. 😻🌈

Aubuchon is my favorite hardware store in South Burlington.It always has stock the Ace on Williston just doesnt have with far better prices than youd expect from a smaller hardware storeIf youre looking for just a couple of specialty screws for a project or you start something and youre just missing a part Aubuchon is the best store for youThey also offer screen repairs here for windows and doors!Great staff and beautiful, friendly cats are always around to make you feel welcome

Above and beyond your most awesome expectations: A hardware store with a Vermont presence. Erik and the staff, here, are devoted to creating the best shopping experience for us imaginable. COVID smart and intelligent about assisting you to sort out the product options best suited to your needs, this store is the cats meow. They even offered to deliver a heavy order to my door. Highly recommend the South Burlington store.

The employees made me feel invisible. They had a conversation right across me, no respect for my space or presence. When I asked them if I was invisible, I got no response, so I assume I am. I walked out. I can spend my money someplace else.

If I could give this place a 0 star. I would. The store manager that works here is completely rude and discriminatory towards young children and refused service to two ladies whom were just trying to get an AC from here. Theres no reason for someone to feel embarassed,ashamed or anything going to a business. In this time during a pandemic, there needs to be some empathy and compassion. Maybe this manager needs to get let go until her actions are corrected. The ladies that went in there did NOTHING wrong and one of the ladies son did NOTHING wrong as well. She should NOT have a higher up position as a manager.Kudos to the cashier whom continued the transaction and apologized on her behalf.

I personally have not visited this store but after a viral post on FB today about how the female assistant manager treated a young woman and her 2 year old child trying to purchase an air conditioner, Im not sure that I ever will! Telling someone that there child is not allowed in the store becausehes germy is discrimination at its finest. Its disgusting behavior that is part of a huge problem in this world. Im appalled that such behavior is allowed in your establishment. I hope that something is done about this horrible person managing your store.

Witnessed horrendous treatment by assistant manager, Christine McCormick, to not only her employees, but also customers. In hysterical tones Christine ordered a pregnant woman with a child, who wanted to purchase a air conditioner, to leave Aubuchon immediately. The woman pleaded with Christine to buy a air conditioner and this assistant manager finally allowed her to buy one. This humiliating treatment also extends to Christina’s harassment and badgering of employees there. This unprofessional treatment is embarrassing to watch time after time as employees struggle to support high volume of business while attending to COVID-19 cleaning demands. As a resident of South Burlington for 6 years, l would ordinarily highly recommend Aubuchon Hardware Store; however, this South Burlington staple hardware store has taken a downward spiral with assistant manager, Christina McCormick. It is anticipated that an assistant manager to be concerned about germs, but corporate management should coach such an individual to not only be more professional, but more compassionate toward both customers with children as well as hard-working employees of this Aubuchon Hardware Store .

Parking lot is a little challenging, but I come here mainly for propane refill in my RV. Nice people. Youre treated as if you are family. Never do you feel like a stranger or a customer. The store is very clean and well laid out. But if you cant find something just ask. Ive been to this Aubuchon Hardware store at least once a year while Im visiting my sister and clearly everyone I encounter is incredibly cheery, helpful, and accommodating.

LOVE this hardware store. Its my go-to because the staff is SUPER friendly and helpful!! Always great suggestions with concern for my budget and personal project needs not to mention the lovely conversation from the staff. Im a big DIYer being on a new parent budget and theyve never once made me feel stupid for coming in with questions when I am about to tackle a new project for our home or nursery when its something Im new to and I really appreciate that! Outstanding! When I have questions or need solutions, I can count on some creative and even alternative suggestions. The new employees are always well-trained because they know where everything is. Have you seen all the nooks and crannies? Have you seen all those nuts and bolts and everything in between? Im impressed they know where all these things are. Plus, Ive always had super positive experiences with the staff. Every. Single. Time. Aubuchons is the epitome of the quintessential neighborhood hardware store.

Just moved up here and had to pick up some stuff for the house. I couldnt have made a better choice than to stop into Aubuchon. The staff here was so friendly and helpful. This store has so much stuff, everything you could need. If youre in the Burlington/South Burlington area, skip the big box stores and head over to Aubuchon Hardware for a great experience where you can actually get help without having to hunt down someone in a red vest or orange apron and buy quality products at exceptional prices.

Steve (store manager) and his staff were wonderful to work with - top notch individuals providing top notch Service. I will be visiting frequently to purchase goods. When you get on the Aubuchon rewards program, it is amazing how many coupons you can acquire toward additional purchases - I honestly had no idea of the extended discounts (one was to get $20.00 off a $40.00 purchase). Its worth being loyal to them, not only for the Great service they provide, but for quality product and extended savings. Steve and the Staff offer you the personal touch and truly care about your being satisfied as a customer.

Well stocked neighborhood hardware store. I found curtain hooks listed online and it said where they were located in the store. So I hurried over and the hooks were exactly where the online catalog said they would be. In and out!

My daughter and I went to Aubuchons on Hinesburg Rd. with a few questions regarding their Benjamin Moore paint. Even though the employees were busy serving other customers, we were kindly greeted.I had a specific color question and was referred to another employee who came over promptly. She not only answered my questions but provided my daughter and myself with such a pleasant shopping experience taking time with us.I must say, I have lived in Vermont for over 20 years and never, ever have I encountered such knowledgeable, friendly, and down to earth service.I left the shop with my purchases thinking You just dont get this kind of service and attention when you shop at the big box stores.So, I must say that South Burlingtons Hinesburg Rd Aubuchons is simply TOP NOTCH. If you are looking for professionals who know their stuff and care about their customer, do your shopping here!ps: the Lily Lavender Benjamin Moore paint we purchased is everything they told me it would be. Not impressed with this place. I had to hunt a worker down to have a key made. Then he immediately tells me no he cant make the key without even looking at it. Not friendly at all.
