So happy that South El Monte has a small market option! There is just about any basic that you need here and no lines. They have Dairy Pure milk (yum). Thrifty Ice Cream, good prices on eggs, meat, cereals, fruit and veggies, beer and wine. Everyday stuff like paper towels and toilet paper. The staff is friendly and the store is clean. Parking right there. Did I mention that prices are low, too?I hope that they start a Taco Tuesday like some of their other stores have.

Good for a quick pick up something, vegetables reasonably priced, keep an eye on what they charge, cashier charged me several items over the price they had listed.

Most of the things are less expensive than other markets and good quality.

I went to Ai Hoa Central Market for shopping today. I like this market because there are oriental food sauces better than list of online shopping. There are good drinks as well. The price of goods are comparable. But I do not find good meat and fruit and there are foods and sauces and drinks passing date of expiration. As you can see the date is Nov 9, today but Ai Hoa Central Market’s milk was best by 04 Nov, 2020. So You must double check expirations before you buy. Are stuff here vegetarian or meat and fish has occupied by other neighboring market? I know it is hard to operate small business but the quality of items are very important for surviving both merchandise and consumers. Looking forward more neighborhoods and visitors to support locally small business in the future.Dec. 23, 2020I feel abdominal pain after I ated dry radishes past expiration date [and the food] is spoiled. This will cause the symptoms of food poisoning. The exp. of this dry radish was 08 Oct, 2020. This market should also sell Seirogan Herbal Dietary here.

My family used to shop at their Chinatown location. This location has all the same great finds, fresh produce and friendly employees.

Awesome local family-owned/operated asian market with nostalgic cozy feel and service! They actually have some pretty good prices that beat out other Asian big box stores and a good carefully selected inventory of popular asian groceries. They even had the famous Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea Ice Cream in stock! Def will be coming back here for more groceries and treats on a weekly basis!
