Phillips installed new AC. Company did a fantastic job. They were efficient, courteous,and extremely good at clean up. Also sales representative went over options with me and not at all pushy, trying to get me to buy most expensive. I very much appreciate that. I would highly recommend Phillips Heating and Cooling. They did a wonderful job and will use them for maintenance and when I need a new furnace.

I appreciated the several options I was given to choose from. The installation of both pieces was done in a timely manner and installed well. They removed a 60+ year old gas furnace. Then they installed a new high eff. furnace and air conditioner. They also replaced the T-stat. Everything works perfectly. They were neat and cleaned up around their work area. i would recommend them to friends and family.

After Patricia (the owner and wonderful person) came and gave us an estimate, Beth their scheduling office lady,(very personable sweet lady) arranged our appointment. Big Mike, Mark, and apprentice Michael, came this morning and removed existing furnace and AC unit, installed new furnace, (ENERGY EFFICIENT) and new AC (ENERGY efficient as well). They were done by 12:30 ish. The whole job was very much professionally done, and the skills of all are unmatched. We had gotten another estimate from another company, and the estimator was very unprofessional in his appearance and 3500.00 higher. I have used Phillips Heating in the past for regular maintenance on my A/C and heating system. I lost heat this past week and called them immediately. Beth in the office was fantastic and got a tech out to my house within 90 minuted. Richie, the tech, diagnosed the problem within 15 minutes that it was the blower fan. That day it was arranged to have a new furnace installed with 5 days. Fortunately the weather was warmer than a few weeks ago when the temps were below zero.The new furnace was installed with (2) techs in my home and they were done and cleaned up within about 3.5 hours. Everything was explained on what was done, the warranties, and the workings of the new furnace. Phillips Heating & Cooling Services is outstanding and fair. They were called out to my house due to a problem with the a/c. I called the office and was given a few things to checkout with no avail. The a/c fan was not turning, and my home was getting warmer and warmer. A Phillips specialist was sent to see what was going on with the a/c. It was quickly discovered that the seventeen-year-old a/c needed to be replaced. A new a/c was installed in the middle of summer and at a fair price. Everything was done quickly, efficiently, and economically. I asked how many people work at Phillips? Expecting to hear 20 or more, and was surprised to learn the shop consists of 7 skilled technicians. It was hard to believe as quickly as they diagnosed and replaced the a/c.

I’ve been using Phillips for about 15 years. They are honest and reliable, very professional no matter who I am dealing with...the office, techs and installers are all that and more. My 20 yo furnace was nearing the end of its life and they gave me options, no high pressure to buy a thing. Here this am and replaced the furnace and installed a new thermostat...everything done on time (early in fact!), everything explained, everything cleaned up. Great company...wouldn’t call anyone else!

Central AC unit stopped blowing air, called Phillips Heating and Cooling the service was incredible. First their tech came out asap, was very professional, polite and thorough. He found a failed blower controller and but told us they would have to find a replacement as the part we needed was not in stock. He called the information into Beth at the office and went on to his next appointment. Beth took the information made the necessary calls and not only got a new part in less than 2 days, she also ensured it was covered under warranty! Our tech came back within 2 days with the new part and happy to tell us we didnt t owe anything. Thanks to everyone at Phillips they all do exceptional work and love what they do.

Been with this company 30 + yrs + multiple referrals.Tech showed up, Sat,12/26/20 diagnosed the problem, circuit board fried, part not in stock, (NO HEAT !) $127.50.Assured me I would be contacted on Monday 12/28/20 with a cost & a time frame. (subject to my approval)(Never happened)Tuesday 12/29/20(24 more hrs, No heat 4 days)I was contacted by the office & was told the part was a wk out, but they were willing to go pick it up that day @ a cost of approx $648.50 installed.I ordered the part elsewhere online for $173.00 & received it 24hrs ahead if Phillips time frame & fixed it myself with a $500 + savings.Not everyone has the advantage of being able to fix their own, but thankfully I do or Id still be waiting or having to call someone else & pay yet another diagnostic fee.

The office staff was very nice and understanding. Our a/c unit quit blowing cold air and when I called and explained my husband works 3rd shift in a hot factory and needs the ac to sleep comfortably during the days they sent someone out right away. He was very professional and was able to get our unit working in no time. Highly recommend

We had our vents and ducts cleaned out and an air scrubber installed and not only were they on time they gave me a courtesy call to let me know they were here and what they needed. They were very helpful and solved my problem by phone, personally and showed me the work they did and explained. On the phone they gave me several suggestions that could be possible solutions. I liked that because it made me feel I could trust their suggestions. They also presented two alternatives to solve the problem with the air conditioner with prices.

Very responsive to my questions and quote adjustments. They gave me the NI Gas rebate that I was not aware of.They finished when they said they would. No problems with the installation. The furnace has worked great from the start.

Dan from Phillips suggested we consider replacing our unreliable heater, because it was 20-years-old and needed two expensive parts. We knew the a/c was on the way out, too, so we decided to have it replaced at the same time...turns out the a/c was 35-years-old! I really appreciated all the time Pat spent with me, answering all my questions, when she came out for the estimate. Our laundry/utility room space is small, but Mark and Rich got it all in, and installation took less time than estimated. It was so nice to have a consistently warm house! We can keep the fan on all the time, if we want, because it does not bother me. (I had to turn the noisy fan off at night with the old system.) Also, really glad we put in the air scrubber. I have really noticed a difference with in my allergies. Four days after installation, I no longer needed extra medication at night for nasal congestion! Both the village inspector and another service person I had to the house were very impressed with the new system, because it is the energy-efficient version and runs so quietly! I definitely recommend Phillips!

I enjoyed having the technician on site. He was very helpful in teaching me about my unit and guiding me how best to keep my AC unit functioning well. I only wish he would have had some booties to cover his boots, I had to vacuum after he left some mud around. Aside from that minor issue, I appreciate the company and will likely call them to check my furnace before winter.

She was extremely professional and was able to provide detailed descriptions and quotes on the spot. After comparing pricing and financing options with two other local providers Phillips had the best prices and customer service.

Mike came out to give me an estimate immediately. Answered all my questions and explained anything I seemed puzzled on. Like size and operation of furnaces. Next morning, they called first and started installation on time. Georg, Richie, and Mark were my installers. They were quick, clean and courteous. And careful of my cat. They even let me watch and explained my questions. Told me where my filters were. They are some pretty nice guys.

We had a 26 year old HVAC system that went on the fritz. Mike came out on a Sunday while we were on vacation to get it up and running. I hired them to do a subsequent cleaning soon after and it was determined that the system needed to be replaced. I got numerous estimates to due my due diligence and was satisfied with the reputation, price and time spent in the explaining of a new system.I was not at the install so aside from a couple of questions and an issue that needed to be addressed (the thermostat wasnt installed properly and it was a Nest and they werent trained in that one). To make a long story shorter, the main contact Pat understood I was frustrated and got back to me in the middle of the night (responding to my text) and promised to make it right.Mike and George both came out first thing in the AM to make sure things were explained and that the thermostat was attached and working properly. I was impressed with the follow-up on all services. We should be cooling and heating well for years to come.They worked with me on a price that seemed right compared to the other companies we checked with, the American Standard equipment is really well made and warrantied, and it matches the home well.I wouldnt hesitate to call them because they will stand by their product and service.

I have used other companies in the past and recently had Steve Phillips repair our heating and ventilation system. Of course our A/C went out on the hottest and stickiest day of this summer. Steve recommended repairing most parts and replacing some others and had us up and running in a few hours. Generally HVAC people always tell you everything has to be replaced but Steve was honest and knew I was on a budget and was willing to take the extra time it needed to be fixed. Honest work at its best..!

George did a great job as usual. He cleaned pur furnace and left me with a smile. I gave him one of my Christmas banana bread to take home. I value great service. George definitely provided that. I use Phillips heating cause of that great service.

We love Phillips Heating. They always treat you like a friend, but are very professional and prompt. They kept our old units running for as long as they could and once came up to 8 times to fix a problem with our old furnace (without charging us every time either), until we were able to afford to buy new ones. This family owned company is very honest, trustworthy, do not aggressively try to “up-sell”, responsive, have a great staff that communicates with each other very effectively and sell and install high quality equipment. They seek long-term relationships and referrals, which they deserve and will happily receive from us. After an excellent initial meeting with Pat, who took measurements of the rooms in our home and suggested certain alternatives, we gave them the go-ahead. We had previously met with other companies. The thoroughness of Pat’s work, our research on the equipment, her suggestions, the cost estimate and the trust we placed in our referral source allowed for an easy decision. We had a good feeling which other companies didn’t leave us with. Phillips installed a high “efficiency furnace” and a “silver” level a/c unit for us along with a new Nexia thermostat all in one day. The American Standard (American Standard also makes Trane equipment) and NEXIA equipment has worked flawlessly, even nicely and effectively through the recent “ ChiBeria” winter. The equipment is very quiet and very effective. The team of 3 (George, Mark and Matt), were very organized, efficient, clean, professional and friendly. They also gave us operating tips and advice. Follow-up service check-up appts (furnace during early fall and a/c during late spring / early summer) have met this same high level of service we have come to expect from them. The company knows homeowners have lots of choices and they successfully differentiate themselves very effectively. We cannot recommend them strong enough! Our furnace failed due to a cracked heat exchanger after 28 years of operation.Phillips Heating and Cooling Services, Inc. was one of three quotes; two Bryant and one American Standard were the two brands represented. After researching, we found that like autos, manufacturers rebadge furnaces and AC under different names and minimal differences between similar product lines.That one Bryant quote was based upon existing furnace and AC, with no detailed written quote and a ridiculously low price, was alarming, especially after getting the second Bryant quote. The Bryant website had this company listed as distributors, but with no accreditations.That second Bryant quote was much more professional, with satellite views and an algorithm used to compute the home load measurements and provide several product lines and their recommended configuration and costs.Phillips sent Patricia Nelson, with shoe covers, whom measured the home’s windows and exterior door areas, computed the load and presented the quote with several options in product line, the recommended configuration and offered 0% APR with 50% down.Alrhough the differences between the two brands’ product lines were minimal, the American Standard products offered greater efficiency at similar cost.The professionalism, brand/models and performance represented, and willingness to throw a little extra in, made Phillips Heating and Cooling Services, Inc a no brainer.Thanks, Patricia and everyone who worked to install it all!
