We have used FSI Oil for 16 years now and absolutely love them. They are reliable and courteous 100% of the time. We have a budget plan which works well for us and oil deliveries on a set schedule. If I notice the tank is getting lower that it should before the next delivery, I call them and they always deliver in a timely manner so that I dont run out of heating oil. If ever I need anything done, they will be the ones I call.

I first encountered FSI when they installed a propane fireplace in my home. Over the years their service has been first rate, friendly and quick. On my last call for help the tech was here in 90 minutes, solved the problem quickly and showed me a trick to adjust the ambience of the fire. Bottom line, you call and they come. Thats what you want from a service company.

A Job well done in good time. After receiving a card in the mail about the Water Softening and Reverse Osmosis systems available, I requested estimates for these systems. I dealt with Jason who was very knowledgeable about these systems and took the time to explain how they worked and their benefits.Living in a town where our water is supplied from a hard water well, these systems were needed. For the last twenty years, weve had to replace numerous shower heads, coffee makers, water heaters and a dish washer after dealing with the damaging effects of calcium in theuntreated well water.Within a few days we received a detailed E-mail detailing the total costs for both systems, the price was below what I had anticipated, so much so, I decided to go with both systems. Jason said he would get me a good price & kept his word. We got quick installation after we agreed on a price. Within a matter of hours both systems were up and running and we are enjoying the benefits of the systems.We also deal with F.S.I for heating fuel oil & yearly furnace maintenance.Thanks again!

I was very pleased with the service i had recently. the service tech was very professional.and informative.

Long story short:Working with FSI caused so much stress and blood pressure and I will never deal with them again.Incompetent techs, exorbitant service charges and highly marked up pricing on their parts. Shocked to find that a primary control unit and and universal control board costing $60 and $110 in the market was marked up to $160 and $320 respectively and they conveniently charged my credit card. The price comparison is apples to apples. This pricing is in spite of having an annual service contract ($189 per year) with them. In addition there was also a house visit charge. The furnace died completely with in 2 days of spending all the amount (close to $700).However, their Vice President is very good. Escalated the matter to him and after long discussions, he refunded $330 to me which is 50% of marked up price on their parts. 5 Starts to the VP.Ended up spending $16,000 to replace this 15 year old oil furnace system (converted to propane, added 4 Ton central AC, new dampers, nest thermostat, etc.) through a different company.

Worst hire I have ever made. They were rude, totally incompetent, and had terrible customer service. They did not finish my install, gave me terrible advice, and refused to refund me until I had my credit card company get involved. It was the single worst company I have ever interacted with, and that is not hyperbole. DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANY REASON!I hired a different company a couple days later to do the same job and it took them literally 2 minutes to identify and correct the problem. It was simple day one stuff that Fuel Services were totally incompetent to perform. They then proceeded to tell me it was my fault and give me incorrect advice on how to fix it, when really they mis-wired my furnace as was found by the second company. They then refused to give me a credit or refund until I got my credit card company to send them a letter, explaining that the second company had sent written notification that the job was mishandled. I cannot believe how poor their customer service was, especially after being so incompetent. It is astounding, and I have told everyone I know to never use this company. There are plenty of other choices, and you will be throwing your money down the drain if you hire Fuel Services.

Super happy with an experience we just had with Andy who came and hooked up our dryer. Fuel services has always made sure we are warm and keep our propane and oil tanks full but today while Andy was here he went above and beyond with making sure our family and cat shelter stays safe.He noticed that the connecting pipe was made of very thin flammable material and immediately went to work on attaching the proper venting pipe. Its important to know that 3 repair men had come previous times to try to fix our dryer and none had noticed. This used dryer was donated to us, again its important to note that it was Andy that noticed that the repairmen failed to see the large amounts of lint buildup near the open flame. We made a switch from our long-time fuel company to Fuel Services two-years ago and I have absolutely no regrets doing so. Whether for oil delivery, furnace or central air, Fuel Services has responded to our needs in a timely and professional manner. In many instances, we had same-day or next-day service for all our repair work. This year we decided to replace our failing 30-year old furnace and central air system. Josh came down to the house explained our options, available Mass Save Rebates and answered all our questions in detail. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable with the various systems available to us. A few weeks later the crew from Fuel Services came in and we had a new energy efficient system in place and we couldnt be happier. Having been a commercial property manager until 2005, when my oil furnace died in the early winter of 2019, I did my homework and got quotes from nine, reputable local contractors. FSI was the best value by far. Josh Nolan offered only the most reliable equipment on the market at a very competitive price, and unlike others, did not try to upsell me. The FSI installation crew was courteous and professional. The job was completed timely, and when an issue surfaced shortly after the install that was - in part - my fault, they returned immediately and made it right - at no additional cost!

I called at 9am with our oil burner not working. A technician was at our house by 12:30 pm and problem was fixed in 10 minutes and the cost was fair. And the heat was back to normal 30 minutes later! A great company to work with!

We found FSi after a truly problematic time with another company. They came to us within a day, fixed the issues that were left unfinished by the other company and have been nothing but fantastic since. Fuel Services put propane tanks and a heating system in our home. They were responsive to difficult schedules, did quality work and followed up with the details. We are very please with the heating system and they recently serviced or air conditioning system. We had a situation where our oil burner kept resetting and shutting off randomly. It took a few calls and a lot of troubleshooting, but Fuel Services got us up and running! They are fabulous and am so happy with their service and budget for oil!!!

Heat pipes needed to be flushed. I called for help. They gave cost. Then suggested a maintenance plan at $179. The plan took care of the service and my next burner tune- up. They came within an hour to flush my heat pipes. All working good now.

Just had the annual tune up to my heating system. The Fuel Services technician arrived on time and went right to work. 90 minutes later the tune up was complete. The work area was cleaner when the tech left than when he arrived. I am really impressed with the way this company does business...and with its people, in all areas. I have no knowledge of how they manage their work force assets, but I’m guessing there are a few interviews involved. Each personal interaction with their people reinforces the idea they go after really good people.

This place helps you to heat your home. It is in a small building on high street in holyoke mass. It has on street parking. Inside this building has 2 floors. The staff are nice people and very helpful. The floors are clean. The offices are decent size. I came here with my mom because she had to drop off a paper that the oil company gave her.

The people that Fuel Services sent to fix my problem with my forced/hot water heater. I have three distinct zones. Two are working fine, but the third zone does not produce any heat at all. All of the repair people they sent to fix zone three were unable to get the job done. They were polite and professional, but the fuel company does not have a plumber on staff.After being a good consumer for 17 years (I gave them my credit card. They never had to worry about being paid. ) they left me holding the bag. They offered no assistance in finding a plumber. If the situation is as they claim, that is, if an ongoing business cant find a plumber, what chance does the homeowner have in securing one?This situation has been going on since the first week (8th) of February, about six weeks.

I have always received fair pricing, fair costs, and excellent communication from their service representatives. One bonus, some oild delivery companies have created an oily smell after delivery in the house, not sure how or why. Never an issue with Fuel Services.

Repeat customer / reliable service / easy to use. Shocked other fuel companies arent following suit...Payless model very convenient and competitive pricing. Only (slight) knock is that all of their promotions/discounts seem to be conveniently timed for release immediately after I just filled up my tank. Thems the breaks I suppose!

New customers, beware. When this company schedules to meet you at your home to determine your special needs, they will give you a date (approximately a MONTH after you call.) and a time (usually a two hour window, 10:00-12:00). But according to Peter, their propane manager, the time is only approximate. They may show up an hour or more early or an hour or more late. So plan on wasting your entire day, because youll never know when they will actually show up. Oh, and then of course its your fault for not being there when they show up, but theyll call to reschedule (next month?). They must be very busy, because they made no effort to accommodate me as a new customer. This was my experience.

Pete was very informative and helpfully. I had problem recertifying my dot two 120 tanks, of which I knew nothing about. Pete was able to explain it all. And I ended up purchasing two asme Worthington tanks of which am very happy and satisfied. All in all very honest and decent business to deal with.

Extremely inconsistent delivery dates leave you wondering if you will ever get your delivery, poor communication to customer, and working on their own schedule not yours. A common tactic is to order oil when your tank is about 1/4 full, but with Payless you will definitely want to order sooner than that because it could be a week plus before you get your oil. Overall, delivery efficiency for PaylessforOil is disappointingly poor given the importance of the service performed.

So far all my experiences have been excellent with FSI. I use them for both my oil and propane.

10 years ago Fuel Services replaced my boiler and I was getting my oil and service from them up until 2014. I just called and was told they will not service my boiler because I have not gotten my oil from them in 4 years. So even though I bought the boiler from them they are now refusing service. Unbelievable.

Excellent service however they showed up early without calling as requested.

Afther 4 plus years with them they told me they cant service my home because I do not have an automatic fill service with them. They also go by the name payless for oil

I recently had my oil burner cleaned by a company that after they left my home my burner wasnt working properly, so not having any faith in this company I was referred to fuel services by a friend.They came over PROFESSIONALLY fixed the other companys mistakes I am so greatful for fuel services the technician that came to my home was knowledgeable, professional and took real good care of us. We had to get oil and these people were referred to us. They came to do a tank inspection and failed us for safety saying our tank was leaking. They then told other companies that we failed for safety so we couldnt get anyone else to give us oil. Thankfully we were able to get someone who knew what they were doing in here to do another tank inspection and pretty much told us he has no clue why they failed us. So because of this company we had to pay for emergency fuel due to all the run around we had to do after they failed us. Whoever did our tank inspection has no clue what they are doing and I would not recommend going to this place.Do to your response I thought that I might say AGAIN, that we had reinspected by someone else and they didnt see any issues with my tank. SO AGAIN WHOEVER DOES YOUR TABK INSPECTIONS HAS NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. It was also inspected a year ago by a different company and there were no issues then either......

I hear theyre good, unless your a new customer and have an emergency on a weekend.... Excellent customer Indeed.
