2008 Dodge Ram mega cab 4wd 320k milesTruck had many oil leaks (engine/transmission/differentials), rode rough, electrical issues.I dealt with owner Richard who handled my concerns with good listening skills.They found many many bad seals and gaskets throughout.Performance suspension, differential seals, batteries and cables.Not cheap, but the first time someone was proactive and diligent with my truck.No more dealing with dim witted uncaring “professionals”. One of whom was called “king Cummins”. PSP diesel exceeded my expectations.I will not let anyone touch my truck again; as I need it to last As you can see, I spoil the truck and value it.Lastly, I can either email or call richard and he responds.

2005 F250 with ~ 133k miles. Replaced Original Head bolts with Head Studs, and replaced the oil cooler and water pump.Truck is running great, towing and going uphill.. got 7500 miles and no issues so far.PSP came to my rescue, at short notice with this project keeping absolute transparency and providing feedback throughout the repair process.Very professional guys, performing on time service. I would take my fleet of trucks here to get Bulletproofed. Well done PSP..

I want to first say thank you to Art, his shop came highly recommended for their knowledge and repair quality for the 6.0 Powerstroke. I bought my first 6.0 after lots of reading and trying to find the right truck. I knew it was going to need some attention and when the time came, I knew exactly who I was going to take it to. Turns out it needed a little more attention that I thought but Art was upfront and honest about what it needed. Definitely not the experience that I might have gotten somewhere else trying to up-sale everything or tell me something was broke or needed replacement when it wasn’t. Art and his guys have earned a life long customer.

Let me start with saying Art and his shop is hands down the best shop I have ever been to! I travel for work, and I am constantly recommending PSP to co-workers even though we might be in another state working. The first truck I took to Art was my 06 F350, the truck was stolen not long after I bought it. I wanted to keep the truck even though it was in horrible shape after getting it back. The people that had stole it stripped everything that they could under the hood and most of the interior. Art and his team were able to put it back together as if it came from the dealership, and it ran even better than before by putting better parts on the truck. After I sold the truck, I bought a newer F250. Anytime I had a issue with it I took it to Art, with me working in the oil and gas industry, I drive down some of the roughest roads you can imagine. Art and his team, replaced the front end and talk about a world of difference. I had to take the truck for some minor repairs, and they did a complete point check on my truck, told me what was going out and what was good at no extra charge, even checked my brake pads. I have never had that kind of customer service before. I left the shop one day, and pulled into a parking to take some pictures of my truck because it looked great. Art had seen me parked and called me to check to make sure I was ok and the truck was running correctly or did he have to come look at it. That again has never happened before with any other shop, till this day, if I call Art he answers all of my questions and will point out some things to look at while I tell him what the issue I am having while working out of town. I will never trust anyone else to work on any of my vehicles besides PSP, and I will personally go out of my way to get my truck back in town just for Art to work on my truck. I have referred several of my family and friends to Art and he has given them the same customer service and workman ship to them as he has given me!

We had our 6.0 Powerstroke replaced and upgraded here and they did a fabulous job. The 6.0’s are troublesome as everyone knows, but the engine was reworked 3 years ago and it still works incredibly well. The bullet proof conversion has more power and starts much easier and pulls like heck.This is a professional work truck and we now have two new F550s, And the old one still keeps up with them even though it’s 14 years old now. I will never go to any other place again. These guys are the absolute best at what they do and are really excellent to work with.If you have a diesel truck of any kind or brand this is the place you must go. Never go to a dealer again! You will be throwing your money away if you do. Get PSP DIESEL Art to install an upgrade on your motor and you will never have to worry about it again.If I just had a residential truck I can’t imagine how satisfied I would be but we use ours daily for heavy pulling and long drives pulling trailers in the heavy equipment. The truck they upgraded is now a Highly dependable beast!

Recently had a few issues with Vader (my 02 F350 7.3) and needed a great shop to fix him up. Turns out I found the absolute BEST shop in Houston. PSP Diesel charges $150 to diagnose your vehicle (on new customers they do a complete inspection of damn near every bolt and part on your truck to give you a complete view of what is going on with it). They will then apply that $150 towards your final bill if you choose to have them do the work. For Vader, they found 2 fuel leaks, a couple oil leaks, the suspension was completely gone, breaks were gone, had a rattle when it started, and wasnt getting power. Immediately (like on day one) the mechanic discovered that the trucks oil was missing 9 quarts and there was a bolt missing from the starter. Fixing those two issues solved my immediate problems but as they inspected Vader more they found much more problematic issues. Once they are done going over the whole vehicle someone will contact you and go over everything. In my case, it was Richard. Richard is a no BS kind of guy that is honest, hard working, and cares about his customers. In fact, he cared so much that he even allowed my son and I to come in to his shop so that we could paint the calipers while they had everything taken apart. Understand, this shop is busy and trucks are coming in and going out almost constantly. But still, Richard entertained his customer (me) and allowed us to come in, take up space in one of his bays, and sand, prime, paint, and clear coat all 4 calipers on my truck. Took my son and I several hours and the mechanic that was working on our truck ended up working on another truck next to us while we painted (turned out that truck needed most of the same repairs).But anyways...PSP Diesel is the place to take your truck if it needs some work. Richard doesnt try to jack up the price by adding parts or work that isnt needed. In fact, there were a couple of times that he could have got a couple more bucks out of me if he was that kind of guy...but hes honest and thats why Ill be taking every truck I own to PSP Diesel. You should to.FYI, they also service fleet trucks, company trucks...you name it they fix it. Give Richard a call and tell him Brian sent you, when he says Brian who, you just say the caliper guy. He will take good care of you.

I had head gasket issues on an 04 F-250, PSP was highly recommended by other friends in the local Diesel community so I went ahead and trusted the recommendations. Called Mr.Art about my truck overheating and explained all the things I fixed and he i both knew I needed a new head gasket. He told me to drop the truck off when I could so I did, upon arrival I explain to him all the issues I was having including my exhaust brake not working. Dropped the truck off Thursday afternoon and received a call to pick the truck up Tuesday morning. I didn’t expect for him and the guys to fix my turbo bc it wasn’t on the repair list but they did it anyway and I’m extremely grateful. I received a great deal on parts and labor in conjunction with my military discount(head gasket & head studs) definitely a honest man with pure intentions. Great group of knowledgeable guys who will get your truck right without beating your wallet up.Art Martinez (owner) is a very honest and down to earth guy and he kept me up to date on the diagnostics of my 7.3L.I thought I needed a transmission rebuild but he found that my problem was a small electrical module! Saved me lots of $$$$ and got me back on the road in no time.

I took my 99 Ford F-250 to PSP Diesel for some professional guidance on what I needed to do with the 347K miles ( 7.3 ) in my truck. After a week or so of delegating my options of either rebuilding or new motor, Art suggested it was a better value to do a full a motor replacement from FORD. I dropped the truck off on a Tuesday and the new motor was at he shop the following day on Thursday. By Friday it was installed with a few loose ends before final completion and delivery the following Monday. Art and his team showed nothing but 100% professionalism. I cant say enough about PSP Diesel, they know diesel engines. They have my business for sure. Thank you so much.

I have an ‘02 Ford F-250 Diesel. I highly recommend this place. The guys have created a friendly, customer service focused business. In addition, they have built good relationships with their workers. There is not a feeling of high stress and clear communication is happening. Everyone is friendly and says hi, from both owners, to the workers, to the delivery guy. They did not treat me like a “girl,” they treated me like a customer. The guys listen to you and all of your description about your vehicle. Everyone there knows what they are talking about (there is no waiting for the diesel mechanic to come on duty so your truck is understood) and are extremely knowledgeable. There are no high pressure sales tactics. They explain things to you and are fully aware of what is going on with your truck. The guys are responsible for their work and it’s guaranteed. They make sure your truck comes out of their business better than when you brought it, whether it be a fix or you added something. They are honest and reasonable with time frames. I also was given multiple phone numbers to call in case of a question, and they do answer them. This is business done right.

Extremely happy with the turnaround they did on my ladys 7.3. I work on the road for days/weeks/months at a time. I was working when her truck broke down. Being we live 5 hours from houston, my first choice was taking the truck to someone local. This was a HUGE mistake. It was there two weeks, all he could say was, it needed a motor and it would be $15-$16,000 to replace. I couldnt see that. Ive had a 7.3 for over 10 years and had never heard the stories they were telling me.Ive know the guys at psp for years and have always been pleased with the work they turn out. They got the truck in and out in two weeks. Found the real problems, fixed it and it runs amazing now. We pulled up to get the truck and hooked our gooseneck horse trailer right to it for her to take it down south. No doubts about where Id be going back to in the future. Always a pleasure dealing with them.

The PSP team is awesome! I usually do all my own work on my truck so I was a little uneasy letting someone else touch my truck. But It had been a long week at work and I was just worn out and did not feel like spending what little time I had working on my truck. My lift pump failed on a Saturday night and I was able to get a hold of Art through the Houston Diesels group (phenomenal group of people) and arrange to drop it off the following day. Will one of their techs was kind enough to take time out of his day and meet me there to take in my truck. Kevin their sales rep got ahold of me the next morning and we went over everything I wanted done. I wanted to replace the factory lift pump with a FASS 150 and sump kit along with a relocated fuel tank vent kit (for more capacity) and delete the factory fuel filter housing. These guys got it done within the week and kept me updated the whole time as the fuel vent kit I wanted took longer to get in than expected but thats on me its the kit I wanted and only Glacier sold it. When I picked up my truck everything looked perfect, nice clean install and tucked away. Truck ran great but I did notice the next morning a tiny leak at one of the bulk head fittings on the pump. Called up the shop and they had me come by and Will took care of it in a matter of minutes and had me on my way. Overall experience was very professional and friendly I will definitely take my truck back for future work to the PSP team theyre a stand up group of guys.

My 6.0 Diesel, Quigley 4x4 E350 had engine trouble on a cross country trip as I passed through Houston TX. USAA ROAD SIDE ASSIST was not helpful and no one could recommended any honest diesel repair shop that could help me assess why all my warning lights came on.Tried prayer and web search and called Art at PPD Diesel- Houston, TX.He assessed it found belt tensioner broken....needed new serpentine belt and checked all fluid levels to get me back on my journey- safely and an answer to prayer in the depths of Houston.

PSP Diesel came highly recommended by some industry experts and they did not disappoint. Great experience. I brought my truck in for some known issues. They found several problems were actually less involved than we expected. For example, I thought I needed a new fuel pump, but they diagnosed it and it was actually just an o-ring and an external assembly that needed to be replaced. They actually worked to save me money. They made solid recommendations for work that needed to be done now and for what I should plan for down the road. Top notch in my opinion. All work was done exactly as promised. These are my diesel guys from now on for my 1997 OBS 7.3 Ford. I am not affiliated with these guys in any way...just a happy customer.

We had a great conversation about my dodge and what the possibilities could be with my truck overheating. HONESTY & EXCELLENT SERVICEI would like to thank PSP Diesel team for their amazing service. About two weeks ago my F-250 died on my on the highway. I decided to take it to a Ford dealership and have them take a look at it. They came back with a diagnostic with a price tag of $10,000, stating my high pressure fuel pump was bad and metal debris was on my entire fuel system. They recommend for me to replace the entire fuel system. I decided to contact my insurance to see if I can possibly get a claim with them since my insurance covers fuel contamination. The insurance decided to run their own fuel contamination test. They came back with a different result and stated that I did not have fuel contamination at all. No metal debris and rust was found. At this point I was very confused and had questions about Fords diagnostics.This is when PSP DIESEl came in to save the day. I found them online, they caught my eye with their five start reviews and decided to get their opinion. I went to the shop and spoke to ART and discussed my current situation. He told me he would run his own diagnostics and go from there. The next day I received a call from him stating the truck did not have fuel contamination, no metal debris was found in my fuel system. The issue was my fuel sending unit was broken and found a leak on injector #2. I decided to proceed and have them repair the fuel sending unit and replace all injector O- rings. Talk about HONESTY and GREAT service. My truck is up and running! Not only did he fixed the issues but SAVED me about $9,000 in repairs. I cant thank the PSP DIESEL team enough. They did an EXCELLENT job!Please check them out! You won’t regret it!!!!!

I recently had unexpected issue with my 2011 F250...alternator went out. Communicated with PSP Diesel through Messenger and they told to drop it off at the shop the following morning; so I did. They communicated with me throughout the day about the alternator and pointed out a few other issues that were found that soon needed to be addressed. Richard and Art were great. They got to my truck in a timely manner, and made my 03 Cummins run like new; new injectors and adjust valves. The cost was right in line, customer service, and communication was top shelf.

By far the best shop to get some Duramax work done. Came in on a day off to plan the parts and gt things rolling.Dropped truck off the next week and had it done in about 4 days. Extremely smart and intelligent workers at the shop. Also highly suggest bringing Modelos to seal the deal.

Took truck in with multiple problems, they was very helpful and prompt with repairs. Have used them before and will use them again.

We bought a used F350 flatbed that ran good for about 3 months after we bought it and then it started to have problems. Until I found the right mechanics we were having trouble diagnosing some of the issues. One main issue was our truck kept shutting off when putting it in reverse.I took it to PSP Diesel and they went over every possibility of some of the things that could be wrong with it. We tried them all. In the end we decided to replace the transmission and other wiring involved. Even though it took some to time to get the problem corrected, Richard never gave up and I admire his honesty and patience. He wanted to make sure I was satisfied with the outcome.I recommend taking your diesel truck to PSP Diesel where they care for their customers and make sure the job gets done right!

Dont waste your time calling for parts they do not want to help and are ready to hang the phone as soon as possible. I was recommended by premierperformance to call and have them order a vulcan 5 since premier only sells to distributors. But when i called to order the Vulcan draw straw 5 from them i kept getting turned down because they didnt stock it. Im aware you might not have it. Thats why Premierperformance needed you guys to order for me. But for the trouble Ill order elsewhere pay the premium of shipping and forget doing business with PSP Diesel. So unprofessional

The best place to take your diesel truck for any repairs period!Art and his team received my truck (04 F-250) with blown head gasket and bad EGR cooler plus other problems, a week later and for much less money than other shops quoted me I received my truck running better than ever and with the air to oil cooler installed! I highly recommend them!

Went by to check my truck and and they charged me 1,100 for labor and told me that my engine was bad. The only thing that was bad were the rocker arms. I spent $ 7,000 that i did not need to spend. My truck had a very simple issue that could have been resolved easily.

A little over a year ago I took my 2006 F350 to PSP to have a oil cooler relocation kit installed and they did an excellent job. They sent me an email showing other issues, such as turbo boots & hoses which they recommended replaced also. Once I gave them the go ahead they replaced the extra items and did not charge me any extra of labor since they had to remove these parts anyway to perform the oil cooler relocation. Saved me money from having the work done later. Now a year later I had a fuel leak on my 1997 F350. I took it over to PSP and within a couple of days they called and said it was a simple solenoid leaking on the side of the fuel filter bowl. Just a little over $200 for parts and labor. They could have told me the fuel pump was leaking but these guys are honest and take care of everyone. They will receive business from me forever. I just hope they understand I dont want to need them too often! LOL

Very nice people. Fast and friendly service. Called me when they found something else other than what was originally diagnosed, they didnt do the work without approval. Really good place to do business. I would definitely bring my truck back to them.

I just had my Ford F250 fixed here and Richard was greatand honest. I had a minor electrical issue and they took careof it. Just a great place to go for diesel truck repair.
