This place was great for so many reasons!!First- the bikes we rented were amazing to ride and had to put barely any effort to move forward. I could tell they were well maintained.Second- the location!! You are at the heart of all the trails that take you to many beaches around Lake Tahoe as well as forest trails. As soon as you pull out the drive way you’re amazed by the scenery.Finally- the staff is extremely professional and they do a great job making you feel comfortable and tell you the best routes to go on

REVIEW OF BIKE RENTAL. We rented bikes here on the way back from seeing Eagle Falls. The bikes were fine, except I guess Im not sure about the gears. I tried not to touch mine out of fear, maybe I could have done better... It is near the bike trail and you can explore Pope Beach and the Tallac Historic site and more. Its a nice area to bike because its so flat. The staff was friendly. This was a spur of the moment thing. They gave us a parking pass while we were biking for an hour and there were signs that said only 30 min. parking, but it was OK. Later, I saw just down the road was a place called Andersons Bicycle rental and they were cheaper ($10 vs $12 per hour and they have tandems too for $18), so I probably should have gone there. Also, in S. Lake Tahoe town I saw a place that said $6 per hour! I think it was on Lake Tahoe Blvd. near the Stardust Lodge, so if you want to ride bikes in town, thats prob. the best rate.

Great operation. We came in early in the morning. They have bikes of all sizes. Due to COVID, you can fill all the forms outside. The bikes are adjusted. We had an amazing bike ride in Camp Richardson. The prices are good too.$12 for adult/$8 for a kid per hour.

I enjoyed renting from this establishment the staff was courteous. Their selection of bikes were clean and in good shape. The location is close to Pope and Baldwin Beach making it ideal for a family ride. I also like the tandems that were available for smaller children to ride along.

Rented 4 bikes plus a bike trailer. The staff was friendly and had good covid protections in place for their customers. All 4 bikes and the trailer were in good condition. Theyre located across the street from the bike trail. Head left for the best ride.

My friend and I came to Tahoe for our traditional December meeting. We have known each other for 40 years but now live 500 miles apart. We decided to go snowshoeing at Camp Richardson since it was the first day they were open this winter. We rented snow shoes from Camp Richardson Outdoor sports. Cory and his trainee were awesome! They gave us pointers on where to go and what areas to avoid since many of the trails were not really visibly apparent . We had a great time! On our return Cory took the attached photo of us ( in our ugly sweaters) We had lots of laughs over that one. It was a great time and a very fun experience thanks to Cory and Staff. Thanks Guys!!!

Completely disappointed with their repair quality, staff and the customer service. I just got a flat tire in my bike yesterday & they got me replaced - that was the good part of the experience. On my way back from the Fallen Leaf Lake, the same tire got broken once again. Moreover, they were already closed by the time I reached the store. I live in South Lake Tahoe (2 hours walk from there), so I was extremely lucky that one lady gave me a ride. Living quite far away from there, I would expect that after my call they will have my repair refunded, so that I can repair it by myself at another bike shop in the town. Unfortunately, the guy on the phone was extremely rude and unwilling to help, blaming me for the tire being broken for the second time in a single day, ending conversation with a bye in a middle of my talk. Thats not how you deal with customers, especially when the service you provide turned out to be faulty. To summarize - if you have any other choice, youd better go to any other bike shop around the town, as there are plenty of them in the vicinity. Not recommended at all.

This is such a wonderful place to spend with family and friends. Clean restrooms. Close to Popes Beach and only a short walk to some of the best Rum Runners youll ever enjoy. They are very strong so remember to pace yourself accordingly.

Very helpful! We thought we had a popped tire, stopped in for a repair. The staff made sure the tire was fixed and didn’t ask for more than an ice cream and kindness. Very cool!

Weve been renting cross country skis here for years. Very low key and a great place to go locally, especially with family. Theres a great trail through the campground. Its also fun to take the skis across the highway and ski down by Lake Tahoe or over to Fallen Leaf Lake. Snowshoes are great too.

An employee here, I think his name was Orlem or something, was extremely rude and ruined my family’s time snowshoeing. I would recommend going somewhere else to snowshoe.

Terrible, rude service! Whoever the guy on staff this morning really needs a serious talking to about how to treat customers. We stopped to rent some bikes and a pull wagon for our little one. We were putting on sunscreen before our ride and he comes up to us and says we can’t park here if we are going to the beach. We said we are here to rent bikes and the guy rudely snapped at us, scowled and walked away. Didn’t say welcome, or how can I help you or anything!I walked over with my son to see what they had but also wanted to give him a bit of straightforward feedback, I asked “is this your shop?” He responded “I don’t own it” and I said “but you DO work here?” (since perhaps he was from the neighboring shop and didn’t care about being polite) and he came at me with sarcasms “No I’m just pretending.” And walked inside to work on a bike!! I told him we are here to rent bikes but he is being extremely condescending. He said “let’s start over” but I’d never give them business after THAT. He was so condescending and pretentious. We took our business to Anderson Bike Rental just down the road and they were WAYYY more friendly, welcoming and helpful. They also have a larger selection of bikes and the bike path is right there. Service is a big deal when you’re traveling and going out for an activity - you’ll remember every trip and know who to refer your friends to. I’d never refer this place!! 👎🏼👎🏼

Horrible customer service. Whos training these kids? These millenials need to learn a thing or two about respect. We had a large group and asked if they give a discount, they said yes. We come back from our ride and another guy says no we dont do that. He said the guy that told us yes hasnt worked here that long. Soooo what? Then he was rude, rude, rude after that. Do not rent from these guys.

Had my bike tire changed here and the brakes were on the tire instead of the rim when I got it back. This instantly poped my new tube and tire when I braked. When I explained this to the staff they did not care.
