My favorite place to shop for food and other items. Today was Senior Tuesday and each Tuesday seniors get a discount. Not only that they are by far the Friendliest place to shop, but also have the BEST ROLLS, FOOD AND BREADS. Today I bought Pumpkin Loaf, very moist and good.
Everything in there always has good quality from cookies to fresh meats. Store is clean and has brands you will not find in ordinary grocery stores. The cheese shop has ample selection of cheese that is of good quality. The fruits and vegetables are all top grade. The prices are a little bit higher though but considering the caliber of the products, it is well worth it.
I hadnt been in at least a decade (and the closest one to me is about a mile and a half away). What usually deters me is the parking situation at this one, but since it was a rainy day, it had ample parking available. I found lots of variety, and even holiday items available. They even have a Sugarfina section. Great pastry selections, although the chocolate crossaint I had was hard and crunchy (packed by an employee from the display case), so Im not sure about when it had been baked. The brown sugar pumpkin scone was delicious and fresh, (& prebagged) however I might suggest you buy prebagged pastries rather than from the case if you get them later in the day (I went at 7pm) to be able to gauge their freshness for yourself. I would definitely return for the cheese selections and other various specialty food items. Most items are priced from around 10% more, to 30% more and even double what you would pay at a regular market for the same items, unless they are on sale. I would only return for their specialty items that I cant find elsewhere.
If theres one store that I really love going to is Bristol farms in South pass not huge good size and I could find everything so organized and the best top shelf liquor collection I have ever seen they do a great job on display merchandising and show that they really care about the way things looked even the apples are matched by color too good to be true but yes so if youre looking for awesome fruit every kind of meal and of course awesome meats and seafood this is the place to go
Pricy but a market that carries most specific...specialty items that other markets dont carries...thats why you pay for!!! If youre a Conisour in international food then 😋 you will 💘 love it regardless of the price. So I owned some high-quality restaurants in my lifestyle, you will understand what I am saying.
Nice setup, good selection, high prices. Good for specialty foods and I do recommend going there for things you cant find anywhere else. It would be 5 stars if the prices were a little more reasonable.
Stood at the pastry case for roughly 10 minutes and didnt even have my exsistance get acknowledged.
Wow, I just had such an unpleasant experience at the cash register. This old man at the cash register didnt say a word to me (the entire time!) almost throwing my items across the register as he scanned them. His hate filled attitude was so obvious, after witnessing his normal chitchatty interaction with the other staff before me. The young employee bagging my items was the only one greeting and being polite. It almost seemed like he was trying to make the situation less awkward, and cover up for the immature act of his elderly co-worker. Perhaps this is a pattern? So grossed out by the cashier. Customers, be aware!
Stopped by on my way home from work. Easy peasy!I stopped by to get a gift: a set of Riedel rock glasses. Since I was already there I got fresh salmon sushi and a roll. Also, some of their fresh store made salsa. The ladies in the flower department were helpful and found a set of the glasses for me.
Bought salmon poke bowl @11 15am and they are busy filling the sushi shelf so I thought it is freshly made .the salmon feel like left over from yesterday and very smelly . U cant cheat on customer who eat fish all the time.
They need to fix the checkout line situation. Its not right for people to wait 10-15 minutes in a checkout line just to have it close down right when they get to you, forcing you to go to the back of the next line and wait another 20 minutes. Just not cool
Wow yum mmm large selection pretty display great customer service but a bit expensive
Anyone else trying to get in contact with Bristol Farms this week. tried to order on-line, but having trouble with a small party for Thanskgiving and NO one ever answers the phone. Suggestions?
I bought prepared food today, teriyaki salmon bowl and spicy tuna sushi. These are just some of our favorites.
The store looks fantastic, overwhelmed with inventory and a great selection for every taste. Freshness is everywhere. Just the bakery dpt.,can send one into a buying frenzy. Quantity and Quality, they go hand in hand at Bristol Farms. An exceptional food place.Enjoy!!
Bristol Farms excels in these areas:Quality meats & seafood (great steaks)Deli & hot prepared mealsBakery yummy.Wines & liquorAnd also important to me is their smiling friendly service.
Very good quality produce and meats goof selection of coffees
Small store but a lot of good different items to get. And with covid there is a line but it goes pretty fast and they give you sanitizer before going inside. Staff is really nice too.
Everything here is good, but it has the slowest checkout workers i have ever experienced. if its at all above average traffic, expect to wait 10min+
Dont get the fresh ground chorizo, it was so salty it was inedible. Took a few bites, threw the rest away.
I love this place! I create magic with all the goodies I pick up from here ✨
Very elegant market with a very nice cashier it was easy to get in and out
They always seem to have everything anyone could ever want, and the quality is out of this world. The service is outstanding and everyone is very welcoming and accommodating. Even though I live in Santa Clarita, I make it a point to visit Bristol Farms when I am in Pasadena.
Fresh fruit, great bakery, excellent meat quality and selection and friendly staff.
Great variety of artisanal and higher-end products. Prices are expectedly high. I prefer the South Pasadena location over the Westchester location in terms of overall welcomeness and friendliness, particularly as a member of a minority. However, I think it has more to do with the community culture and who the store attracts rather than the stores staff.
Quality is good. But way over priced!
Figured I would check this place out since they always are sending me flyers. I came in hoping to find some exotic cuts of meat. No luck on that but they do sell tomahawk steaks.Anyway, most likely wont be back with how rude the older lady at the check out counter was.
Two weeks ago I ordered some Hatch chiles (roasted) and they were perfect. Last week I ordered some more and when I got home I realized they were over roasted. I brought it up to their attention and they replaced it with a new batch of Perfectly Roasted peppers. They really stand behind their products and the customer satisfaction.Thank you!
Bristol Farms - Pasadena is always fun. So many interesting foods to try. Friendly employees. Cafe not open for obvious reasons. They have a great breakfast.
Tastiest fruit compared to other markets not to mention The Cookie from the bakery department which is the best chocolate chip cookie you will ever have.
Great variety, great quality products.
Love how they manage the store. Always willing to help me find what I need!
A bit pricey, however produce is fresh, good variety and staff is very friendly and helpful
The staff is always friendly and super helpful!
Airways great selection of specialized foods. Could have more pharmacological choices.
Grab a cookie on the way in. So much yummy treasures.
I love this place. Great food ready to go.
They quoted me 130-140 dollars charged me 190 all side serving sizes are small suppose to feed 6-8 looks like it will feed 3. I will never do it again
Meats and seafood looked amazing! Made me hungry! Workers were friendly and helpful.
Love this market there hot baguette made in market comes out about 3:30So good. And there hotfood so deliciousGood variety. Employees too kind.
Really expensive but theres nice stuff. The people who go there are kind of rude but the employees are wonderful !
Friendly staffs especially @ meat and seafood department. Ask any questions. They always have an answer.
Once you shop at Bristol Farms, you cant go anywhere else!
So pricey but still delicious 😋
This place is great. They have a lot of great produce, lot of organic stuff. They have some great new products. Added apple and Google play too.
Used to be a great place to eat as it is never crowded and food is good and affordable. However, service is slow and can take over an hour to get your food. Please hire faster cooks and servers.
Great grocery store that has fresh produce and a sizeable meat section with good cuts. It feels that it is a little on the fancier side of things. Easy parking. Nice staff.
This store is so good-great deli, best fresh fish and chicken and such nice staff. Best place to shop because wonderful customer service. Cashiers Richard and Amy are both delightful. Manager Rodney is very kind and runs the store well. The cheese dept is so good! they carry gourmet products that are hard to find elsewhere and I always love shopping in the kitchen store for cool presents like interesting soaps and cutting boards.
Pricy but the quality is top notch. Great wine and liquor selection as well.
Its an upscale market, and much of the stuff thats there is really high quality, but its also pretty obnoxious when they charge boutique prices for some of the Ralphs grade garbage that they also sell.
Overall good, but the line can be annoying on Tuesdays. It would be better if they let more people in.
Thank the lord I found the manager outside other ways it would have taken me hours to pick up my order
I had to stop for just a few items on Christmas Eve. The store was packed, but the staff were so helpful! The quality of their products is amazing and I love their deli. Excellent meats, produce, wines. Costs a bit more but worth it.
Ive never bought a more expensive bag of groceries in my life (quite literally) but the quality truly surpassed anything Ive bought too. If youre looking for something wonderful for a holiday meal and youre willing to spend some money, this is a great destination. For everyday grocery shopping I would stick to my usual Sprouts and TJs for economys sake.
I love love love this place and could easily buy a lot of things. They have excellent baked goods, great gifts, superior produce and prime meats. Im a foodie and I also love to cook. I get a lot of ingredients here that ordinary markets dont carry. Plus, their customer service is really excellent. In addition, they are very eco friendly with brown paper bags that have handles. Skip Trader Joes and come here for really good gourmet food.
Great customer service 👍 and the bakery is very helpful with suggestions,, Thank you for your help
Lots of great foods. The produce shines. Seniors Tuesdays are not to be missed for those on their Golden Years. Seafood, butcher, sushi, prepared foods and the bakery. In other words, Bristol is a gourmet heaven.
Bristol Farms is awesome! I LOVE this location! I wish the size of the store was larger but it gets the job done. There are some GREAT people who work here! So nice, helpful, and friendly!!!!1.) The fresh marinated seafood/poke bar! The salmon one is the BEST!2.) The deli is fabulous! Get the peppered turkey!3.) The bakery! You have to try their Cream Cheese Pies with Fresh Whipped Cream! My favorite is the peach!
Good place to find specialty stuff. More everyday things can definitely be found for cheaper elsewhere.
Great grocery store if money is no problem or for special items.Top quality near and fish. Lovely cheese and deli. Nice bakery. Great produce.
Food is good. Sometimes the cafe dont answer the phone, thats poor customer service. You should ALWAYS answer the phone, you never what call will be coming in. For all they know, it could be a $300 order. Answer the damn phones!
Theyre pricey for some things, but have some pretty great specialty items that make it worth while to go more than once a week. The staff is friendly and I couldnt recommend it more. If you want to impress someone special, come here!
This place is great. They have a lot of great produce, lot of organic stuff. They have some great new products. Added apple and Google play too.
IMHO, for a premium market, I find this Bristol Farms lacking in customer service. They really dont engage the customer, lack enthusiasm, almost as if they are eyeing the time to clock on out.The quality isnt what it used to be. I find produce to be in line with Pavilions & their produce folks seem to enjoy their jobs more, same goes for the checkers & such.In the end, they are okay, but when you need to be mindful about money, there are other nice markets with markedly lower prices.
Everything in this store is fresh, high quality and beautifully presented. Helpful, kind staff. Great gift shop, unique items throughout including the wine shop. Easy parking. My favorite neighborhood market ever!
Good quality products
Parking lot difficult to access from the road but the options were wonderful. Wide selection of specialty foods and household items. The restrooms were also well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a cafe in the market.
I Love this market
Bristol Farms is great. I found several items on sale that made this shopping experience a lot of fun. Bottom line, their sales are awesome and worth the drive there.
Prices are high but most products are worth it. Went back recently and had tried their cafe food. Had breakfast which is yummy but you can probably find the same menu items somewhere else at a lower price. I also like their make your own poké bowl and most of the hot food items (go early for best selection). Tour the store and you may see samples of their products. Also, check out the bakery of cookies, cakes and pastries. Great selections of food items for home or ready to eat!
The Meat Deli has had little or no improvement in Years. Most Deli Meats are better at Sprouts, or Stater Bros. Produce still has an abundance of over ripe Avocados.Meats (Prime) are overpriced.I like El Segundo, So Pasadena has seen its better days. May as well go to Pavilion down the street on Fair Oaks. Sell it to the Chinese.Regards, Customer from Day one.
Excellent fish and meat
Besides enjoying the pastry/bakery and store in general, I enjoy having Lunch in their cafe. Whats great is if you want an hot food item from their to-go counter or poke, you can bring it over and sit in the cafe and eat it.
Great store to shop at if you are looking for fresh fruits and vegetables. They also have a terrific pastry counter and meat section. Service is excellent and the staff are friendly and extremely helpful.
So disappointed. While shopping there. My husband and I sat in the restaurant to have a lunch at 2pm. We were served quickly our drinks but never served lunch even after a 45 min wait. Now never eat their again.
I usually go there to find what I cannot find in other stores.
I decided to go in this morning on my way to work. The doors were open and there was a nice man at the front that said good morning so I went ahead and went in. BIG MISTAKE! I started shopping and I was startled by a cashier who very firmly told me they were not open yet. Of course I was shocked as the man had just said good morning, the doors were open, and he didn’t say anything at all when I walked up. Evidentially they do not open until 7am and it was ~ 6:55 am. So I left and they man stocking at the door even said he didn’t know what the issue was “it’s only a couple minutes”. I completely understand they were not open, however I didn’t know that! This could have been handled much better on the cashiers part! Needless to say I did not wait the few minutes until they opened and instead went down the street to another store where the cashier was very sweet and the prices were far more affordable. That was my first and last experience with this store and will never go back there.
Lots great options for cheese, meat and seafood. Their poke is surprisingly good. You can make poke salad or bowl of on your own!
My Market From Organic Meats to Organic Vegan Miso simply the Best Around The Neighborhood. Love The Staff. I am a Lifelong Customer.
Shopping on senior discount Tuesday. Great seafood and meat section. What happened to the caviar and pate section?
Great selection on cheeses, wines and breads. Pastries are delicious especially the chocolate chip cookies, fresh produce, meats and seafoods, beautiful flower arrangements and the employees are very helpful. Parking can be a bit hectic.
The best people to help you find what you are looking for. Al of there products are fresh.
Im only rating this Bristol Farms on one thing, but because its so rare to find in this area, its all that matters. Poke bar. Fresh ahi tuna poke is amazing, and you can buy it by the pound here. Its tasty and one of the only places I know of in the Pasadena area that you can buy it by the pound. Get some, cook rice at home, and have a poke bowl that doesnt break the bank too much.
The cafe is great for lunch! The grocery store is excellent, but at a price. Very clean, well organized, with a great fresh seafood and meat department, exceptional cheese selection, and lots of great fresh produce, dairy, and some unique imports.
Good selection of quality food items as well as fine wines and spirits. Hot food bar good deli. Cafe in back so, so.
Ordered a 20lb turkey for a special ‘English’ Christmas party today. When my wife picked it up it was there so they advised her on a different turkey. This one’s only 8lbs and they said that would be fine for 16 people ! So now I have 16 guests arriving this afternoon and only a small turkey to serve. Embarrassing !!! Thanks for nothing Bristol farms
Bristol Farms has great grocery products. Their produce is the best in town and their hot food is delicious.
A-to-Z shopping: full grocery, deli & cafe, beer-wine-liquor, gifts. Friendly & knowledgable staff. Very enjoyable visit!
We live far from Bristol Farms, so when we were in the area, we stopped by. The variety of cheeses is amazing. We were able to find Oolong tea in bags.
Great place to get quality groceries and quality meats. Theres a healthy, feel good vibe about this place that I dont get in Ralphs and other shops. I feel that people are more health conscious here and care about what they put in their bodies.
This is the type of specialty store where you can find things that you seem to drive all over town just to find. Here it is all in one store. This is the right store for the Epicurean in you or shall I say the Foodie in you! Bon appetit! Shop away here.
The store is clean, nice displays, beautiful produce. Prices are the highest you will have to pay for ordinary groceries, ie pasta sauce in a jar up to $9.99. I used to shop here years ago and always enjoyed it. Gorgeous floral selections, again at extremely high prices. Also, difficult to exit parking lot onto Fair Oaks...lots of traffic during business hours. The cafe is just ok. It takes awhile to get your food.
I love this market a lot. Most of their stuff are organics. My kids love their free samples.
Great staff, wonderful experience. Great deli meats and cheeses. Expensive though, but worth it
Parking kind of sucks. Employees are ok for the most part. But if you go in and ask for a specific wine, watch out. They may try to make you feel stupid if you ask for something that is considered seasonal.Doubt Ill be going back.
