This place is great! I just moved here locally. My computer was running extremely slow, it took a long time to boot up and it just wasnt working right. I took it another service previously, and he lost my flies and did not resolve the situation.Then I met Henry at Starbase! He got my computer running better then new, and then helped me recover Final Draft and purchase Norton. He spent a good hour with me after he fixed my computer to make sure it was running great (I am not a computer tech guy). I cant recommend this place enough!I accidentally broke the headphone port on my laptop and needed to get it fixed. I brought it here and I am so grateful I did. He diagnosed it quickly and ordered the part. Instead of keeping my laptop, he told me to just bring it in when the part comes in. After a few days, the part came and I brought it in. He was done within a few hours. Most computer places take days, sometimes over a week. The fact he did a wonderful job in such a short time was amazing. I hope to not have computer issues, but I know if I do, Ill definitely be bringing it here. Thank you so much for the help!

I went to Starbase Net Computer to get an external hard drive fixed in a critical moment. The connector port broke, and with a project dead line coming up, it was CRITICAL that I got my data back same day. Henry at Starbase was SO helpful, and worked after hours to get me a new external hard drive with the transferred data back the same day. He pulled out the magic today. 10/10 would recommend for personalized service when you are in a pinch.

My son’s gaming computer was having performance issues. We installed, on our own, a new motherboard and processor to try and increase the speed of his computer. To keep it short, after installing the new components, the necessary drivers would not install, so he couldn’t use it for gaming. Even tried to put the old components back to see if they would make everything work (did not). Searching on Google, I found Starbase and it showed a high rating and great reviews.I called Henry and took the computer over. He wiped the hard drive completely and installed the new components back. He noted to me that the hard drive was having issues and most likely starting to go bad. I had a new SSD drive to swap it out and about two weeks later, went back and Henry took care of everything.My son was blown away in how much better his PC was performing and was ecstatic to be able to play online without any issues in graphic lag or the speed on the computer itselfHenry was very knowledgeable and even took the time to explain the issue in detail (I know a bit on computer components, so I was able to understand what he was telling me). Excellent Service!!! went in to swap cases and upgrade my fans the price to do so was a lot more affordable than microcenter. Fast service and very helpful because I didnt have a part I needed and instead of driving to the nearest PC store to buy one which is an hour away (though it should have come with one) he scoured his store in order to find one and did. Drop off my laptop and my desktop for service at Starbase Computer.Both of my computers were running very slow.The tech Henry identify my computer problems while I was waiting and gave me a quote. One needed more memory from a 4GB to 8 GB or more and for my system my drive was going bad with many bad sectors.Henry was able to fix both of my computers and help me recover the data on a same day after I droped off before noon.It was a very good choice that I make. Very impressive to have it ready for pickup by 5:30 on the same day.I dont know of any big box store that can offer that type of service.Will knowledgeable staff with tons of experience. This is a good computer store to have your computers service. Highly recommended.

Paid 500 dollars for a repair that lasted just 8 months. Henry said “sorry, there’s nothing I can do.” Appalling business ethic. Not willing to stand by his work or his customers. I would never go here.

Henry repaired my desktop with the installation of a new SS drive and completed the installation of WIN 10 from WIN7. Most importantly he was able to transfer most of my programs to the new drive. He then spent time with me to be sure I was happy with the installation. I can certainly recommend his shop.

The owner of the store was very kind and took every step to make sure I knew what I was getting into and to educate me on what was wrong with my laptop and how to prevent that going forward. I took my MacBook in on a Saturday, and his estimate for getting it ready to pick up was the following Friday. However, he was able to complete the job and return it to me by Monday! Obviously every case will differ, but it goes to show that he cares about his customers and their experience. Wonderful service. My main desktop computer died this morning. I called Henry and brought it in. Within three hours he had diagnosed the problem and had it back up and running. I had expected it to take at least a day with all the other work he had to do. He has repaired my broken iPad screen, helped me set up a difficult RAID drive system, and fixed many other computer problems that were just out of my league. Friendly service. They wont talk down to you. Henry has always been respectful of my sometimes, technical ignorance, and tenacious at finding the problem or providing a solution. Local, Friendly, Fair and Competent. Very fast, but also very meticulous. Did an excellent job on liquid damage repair on my gaming laptop, an Asus ROG Strix G. Went over every detail with me and even sent me pictures and updates during the repair. Prices were very fair. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I wanted my new Apple Mac Book to be connected to my brand new printer wirelessly. He couldnt do it. He finally managed to make a connection via the old school way - via the printer cable. Even that doesnt work now. He charged me $200 for the failed connection. NOTE re: their response below - the response doesnt make any sense. I was never in their store and certainly not with my printer as they describe below. A, man called Henry came to my house and was unable to wirelessly connect my new printer. It worked for a week and then stopped working. I am unable to print at all. My previous printer worked fine with a cable connection, but I wanted wireless connection. Henry was unable to set up either one.

Just picked up my Dell laptop from Henry at Starbase Net Computer. My laptop had a hard drive that took, literally, forever to boot up and bring web pages up.I ordered an SSD drive to upgrade it, then I called Henry. He said bring it in.... Henry runs Starbase Net. He rescued me from a computer software disaster and was infinitely patient. He threw in some hardware fixes also. To tell you the truth, I felt guilty getting so much of his time for so reasonable a price. They don’t make them like Henry anymore. I am not going anywhere else from now on. My FORMER IT technician helped me set up my business emails, but over the years, I have encountered multiple issues with him (calls always went to voicemail) and the host server...not being able to send/receive emails through my business email account. I stopped by Starbase Computer one day to see if they could help. Because the emails were not working, it greatly affected my construction business. I came to Starbase to fix my computer but it was the worst experience in my life, first off they were really expensive and they dont know what theyre doing, also they left it worst than how it was, they just overcharged me and they have a really bad attitude. when I tried to have them check my computer they didnt want to even bother to check it for warranty so I would definitely never come back. Next time I would rather go to bestbuy or Apple store to get a better service.

Far, Far, Superior. My PC died on a Sunday night while rendering some AfterEffects video (translate: working very hard!!). 9:30am Monday, I carried the PC into Starbase Net and told them I suspected that the power supply had died. They confirmed that and before I could walk out the door, they had the power supply out. Less than half a day later, they called to say it was ready, and at a very reasonable rush price. They also cleaned up that fearful rats nest of power supply wiring I had caused by doing a little of my own work on my PC. Superior service, a great attitude, and you can tell they really care. This was my first visit, but they have my business permanently for the smallest issue. USE THESE GUYS - they are great.

Bought a brand new wacom mobile studio pro from amazon.It was soon infected with a virus for which neither wacom nor microsoft could find a solution for, even after four hours of remote help.I took the device to henri at starbase and he got me a clean install in two hours.Really saved me cause I needed it done fast and clean.Cost 150$ which isnt cheap. But after wasting an entire day trying to solve this by myself, im really glad I could find someone who could take care of it for me.So over all, for me, the cost was really worth my peace of mind.
