And so is Eddie.All safety precautions were followed for Covid-19 so that box is checked.Efficient and professional staff. I will definitely be back in the future.Oh, and the pupil dilation treatment was not as bad as in previous places I had been to so thats a big plus in my book!

I’ve always had such a wonderful experience at this office. I’ve been a patient of two different doctors and both were lovely. I adore Dr. Kim, she’s patient and always takes the time to explain everything so it’s easy to understand. She’ll even remember and ask about personal things we discussed a year before and you can really tell she cares about her patients. Any doctors appointment can be nerve-racking especially right now, but she’s upbeat and positive and makes you feel like you’re in good hands. The folks in the office and at reception are so kind and and helpful and a real pleasure to work with. When I had to reschedule an appointment because of a new job, they even called me back a few days later when they had a cancellation just in case I could squeeze it in. Such great customer service and Id very highly recommend them!

Dr. Lee Kim and the whole staff are fantastic. I havent had such a great experience at any other eye doctor. Finally, no need to keep looking for an optometrist I actually want to go back to!

Dr. Wang is excellent. She is personable and straight forward. Easy to trust. Most of her staff is helpful and efficient....most. Adam, on the other hand, is less so. He does not return calls in a timely manner on multiple occasions, does not follow up on orders (we had to have our sons lenses shaved down, we were quoted one week turnaround, and it ended up being two weeks, which wouldn’t be a problem under normal circumstances, but our son was without glasses during that time, and Adam didn’t follow up with the company doing the work or keep us informed unless we called him). I’ve also been placed on hold by him and forgotten about...had to call back after a ten minute wait. Then, when our daughter’s glasses were ready, he told us to come in (this was a Friday) and didn’t mention that they close early on Fridays, so it was a wasted trip.All in all, we would recommend the office, but try to avoid Adam if you can.

This was my 1st real eye exam and what a wonderful experience! Dr. Annie Lee is so bright and easy to talk to. Their equipment is state-of-the-art. The staff is well trained and friendly. Best in town.

My first visit at this optometry exceeded my expectations. I had a comprehensive exam done with Dr. Lee, who was attentive and thorough. She addressed all my dry eye concerns and explained everything in depth. She recommended a few products that I am excited to try. Although my exam ran a bit longer than the expected appointment duration, Dr. Lee was patient and did not rush through anything. At the end of my appointment, she found that my previous prescription (from a different optometry) was actually stronger than necessary. Dr. Lee gave me an updated prescription that I am more than happy with. My eyes are finally able to relax. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Lee for an eye exam; she really goes above and beyond to make sure your eyes are getting the proper care.

Best optometrist I’ve been to by far! I’ve spent quite a bit of money going from one optometrist to the other with no REAL results. Dr. Lee is very skilled and has helped me SOOOO much. If you’re looking for real result and kind professional soul, look no further! Much like Dr. Lee, her staff is extremely kind and professional too. Eddie in particular is extremely stellar at what he does. He’ll make you feel like you’ve walked right into your home and not just some random doctors office. Keep it up you guys!

My insurance was, as usual, a snarled mess. The woman who works the front desk at South Pasadena Optometric Group was patient, friendly and kind. My younger son gets chatty and wiggly when nervous, but the doctor and assistants were endlessly patient and kind. The man who helped him pick out his glasses actually enjoyed my son’s chatting. The entire experience was, as usual, calm and friendly and as good as can be expected when taking a little boy to get his eyes checked.

The office itself is beautiful with convenient parking.. all the staff is knowledgeable and cannot do enough to expedite your visit. Dr Lowe is so knowledgeable... latest equipment and checks documented images from previous visits... very thorough in helping you see what she sees... and with the new glasses... the staff and doctor help in the perfect selection .

I just had my first visit to SPOG, and it was the best, most thorough eye exam Ive ever had. Dr. Sang was patient, kind, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I do not have insurance for eye care, but all charges were fully explained to me at the time I made my appointment, and there were no surprises when I paid the day of my exam. It is a first-rate organization, and I will be recommending them to all my friends.

I had an appointment with Dr. Irene Sang. Great exam!! Everything was explained to me by staff and Doctor. I walked away knowing what was going on with my eyes and how the new glasses will help with my vision problems. I met with a Technician to pick out glasses. He had a well rounded knowledge of all the glasses in the shop. He made recommendation and helped me choice a pair of glasses that fit my budget and my face. What a great place to for your eyes.

Eddie, Dr. Lee, and Adam provided excellent health care. Eddie was friendly and welcoming while he ran preliminary eye exams. Dr. Lee had great bedside manners, and provided lots of information on the condition and preventative healthcare. Adam courteous and helpful in selecting eyewear. As always South Pasadena Optometric Group went above and beyond in taking care of my optometric needs.

I had an accident with a piece of clothing, a medal strap that hit me in the eye which hurt at the time but continued to get dress and left the house. I got in the car adjusted the mirror and saw my red eye! I couldnt go in that day but walked into the office the next day without an appointment, I was in an exam room within 15 minutes. It looked worse than it was, but always good to check that kind of accident out. The Doctor was vert reassuring, explained what I did, how to treat it and gave me some eye drops. It felt as if I had an appointment, not rushed, with the doctors complete attention. A patient for life, thank you!

My family and I are extremely happy with SPOG and the service we have received from the staff, particularly Dr. Irene Sang and the optician Pauleen. We will be patients there for many years to come.
