This is a clean, well stocked supermarket. The staff are helpful and prices are reasonable. I would like to especially mention the young gentleman at the deli. He made a delicious custom sandwich for me today with great skill & attitude. Highly recommended!

First time I tried the chicken strips, from the deli section, they were delicious huge piece of chicken. 5$ Fridays best deals.

Got the fried clams, 2 for 1, cant complain. Blue Bunny ice cream, soft and on sale. Be careful when youre hungry!

Comfortable, clean bathrooms... Not well staffed due to poor willingness to serve customer needs.

They got really good cooked chicken here. Better than the one at Costco. Costco baked chicken has way too much fat and screws my stomach. Good taste and its not all fat like other places. The habanero has a spicy taste, the regular is not but tastes just as great. I recommend both.

Ive always wondered why they have two locations across the street from each other. This place is low quality compared to the other store.I hate how they change their tone depending on what card I use to pay.But you can find everything you need here. Some things are less expensive than across the street.

Its clean, well stocked, and the staff are careful about social distancing. Prices are about what youd expect at a store like this, but theres always decent deals if you check their sales. Website is pretty good, too.

Large selection of groceries in mostly well-stocked, clean store. Safe social distancing practices followed by employees and most customers. Shelf prices are high for many items requiring use of electronic coupons in the Vons app and a Vons shopper card account number to get available discounts. This in not an everyday low price store. Large parking lot with free parking.

Personally I like Vons, the store was clean and orderly and well stocked again I found what I was looking for.

Despite there being only one line for check-out (in an instant becoming long enough to curb up into the produce dept.), it was immediately remedied with back-up cashiers and was out of there with no real wait time. Given that it was a Saturday, when stores are most busy, this was very convenient and pleasant. Staff is always very considerate and friendly. I drive here from another municipality exactly for this; because my local Vons isnt as customer service oriented as this one.

Their recent policy during the Pandemic is creating so much inconvenience for the shoppers. They will not even put groceries back in the cart. I understand not touching the bag you brought but the CART!! its their cart and if you buy just the bags from them then they are willing to touch everything then they are not worried of getting infected. What a bunch of BS!!!

Always crazy long lines! Usually just one checker working whenever I go in there. You cant pay for a sandwich at the deli or flowers at the flower counter. Terrible!

Pretty great deli. I looked for 15 minutes to find some Doritos/lays/potato chips, but was unsuccessful. It was probably my fault tho🤷🏻‍♂️

This vons was my go to after work but during this pandemic, it’s been frustrating. First, they banned reusable shopping bags, then made you stand in one ridiculously LONG line that goes all the way to the produce for all lines. It makes it hard to distance from people shopping toward the end of the line. Please consider changing this for your health and safety of everyone.

Great place, very clean, and everything seems to be in order. Did not come to shop; it was work related. All workers were very friendly; both regular and after hour. To my surprise, there were a lot more workers than I thought; and they all had things to do. Never knew that Vons always had employees working around the clocks; never knew they are that popular in some areas, make sure you sign up for the club for special pricings; and it is quite a bit of differences in prices. You will be glad that you sIgn up.//

A good clean Vons in South Pasadena. Nothing special about it necessarily, but much less expensive than its sister store Pavilions which is right across the street.

I had a great shopping experience the other day and this is a place where they love to take care of you. Can always find somebody on the floor and if they dont know the department theyll surely get somebody that does and theyre always eager and willing to help you as well. The management through the staff very good at their job, ask for Alex hes a cashier hell take good care of you, love this place recommended to the world to come shop here.

This Vons has the worst and rudest staff among all the Vons/Albertsons/Safeway stores I visited. My previous experience visiting Vons was mostly great, but not this one.

Awesome Bakery,I ordered a large custom Birthday cake for my brother on Thursday @ 4:00 p.m. I picked it up on Friday @ 12 Noon.It was perfect and it tasted great.My brother loved his Birthday cake!They have a pretty descentmade to order, sushi counter.Better to shop late @ night or early morning.From 12 Noon to 7:00 p.m. the lines and wait times are long.

Vons is related to Pavilions at least in South Pasadena extremely closely there right across the street from each other but Vons usually carries a lot more and they have quite a wide selection and reasonable prices for being Vons. Unfortunately they dont always stock their shelves and they will advertise sales for stuff that they dont even have yet but other than that its a great store they have just about everything you need and if its extremely organic and rare theres a Grassroots store right next door that has everything oh and the other thing is you can get fresh sushi all week long at both Pavilions and Vons I love it it was very fresh and I was surprisingly happy! It is extremely rare to find fresh sushi at a grocery market! But they have like a little sushi bar thing. The decor inside the store is actually very nice to. And the employees are very helpful

Fresh quick fruit packages to go

The most extremely helpful diligent staff of any Vons I have ever been to. I make a point to go to the South Pasadena Vons due to the freshness of not only the produce but the bakery and Deli. Everybody on the staff is superlative getting you out of the line quickly and for what little time you do have to wait it is a privilege because the vibe is so high here and clientele engagement is amazing! I was talking to some colleagues at work and they said something similar so it was a pleasant coincidence that other people also shop at this location for the purpose of the customer service high quality of goods and great prices. I usually dont have the time to post reviews but this is extremely worth sharing; A+

Is there zero stars??! Always out of items. Bathrooms are disgusting. Just went in and there are 20 ppl deep in lines with two checkers open. I ask for a manager? Of course she’s on e of the two. How can any store be this run down and mismanaged??!

The South Pasadena Vons is a great store. They have so many long-time employees (such as Mary) that are super helpful & friendly and the Store Manager (Joe) is always very responsive to special requests for ordering items. Even if it winds up that he is not able to get it, he will follow up and let you know what the situation is.

Gio the manager is such a cool and copacetic manager. In a time of stress where I wanted to buy two single-serve juices- I went to the Starbucks to purchase since no check out lane. The barista called the manager- I was peeved and the manager took the high road and had me rung up at customer service. All 10/10s for customer service from GIO!

The are very nice, but always seem to not have enough cash registers open.

This location has better sales than pavilions across the street. However, their shelves are never fully stocked and the produce department especially needs help. Most items dont look fresh. Their bakery is not clean and the beverage by the bagels always has old crumbs from the bagel bins. Dont recommend coming here unless you are coming for a specific item or are willing to compromise service and quality.

I like shopping here I go here a lot lol wow its so run Ive been to them all over the state wow the state huh? Yes states like here is all the states I can named Hawaii, Canada, Colorado ney York and Jersey wow new York is so cool theres so many sparkly light glitter rainbow when I was little I saw a double rainbow it was so cool hahah have you ever seen one? I guess its pretty rare trho, well what ever hhahhahagaga.
