Two days ago i went to South Port Marine to get some paint and information on how to prep and paint an old aluminum boat. The parts manager Travis gave me detailed information on how to do that. Gary in parts also helped. Thank you to both of them. Theres more to this story but i dont want to turn this into an essay.

Such a great full service marina and Mandy was amazing at getting us in and making our stay comfortable after an awful experience at FORE Points Marina ( not even marina its a mobile home with docks)

Eric at Southport Marine who is not only super easy to contact. which included extremely quick response times and the ability to call at any time. Which is something that can not be said about every boat dealership. As the captain of my families boats and more of a eye for detail I was tasked with looking for out next boat. Being in my early 20’smany dealers or boat shows would even let me on the boat. Eric not only treated my twin in I with great respect, but also worked with us to comeuppance with a deal I have no regrets about. In all highly recommend South Port Marine and will be back for our next boat in a few years.Thanks Eric!

After an awful experience at FORE Points Marina it was a breath of fresh air working with Mandy at South Port Marina which is full service Marina unlike Fore Points and their mobile home facilities....

We had secured/paid for a reservation to rent a boat for the day as a milestone b-day gift. We arrived to find out our boat (the only rental they have) had been double booked and left the harbor as we were waiting to be helped. We were told there was nothing they could do and offered no suggestions about where else to rent spur of the moment. We finally found one on our own which cost $125 more for the day since it was a bigger boat and the only one available. We were refunded our deposit and the staff communicated with the owner who provided no defined compensation for their error. Staff thought a replacement day at no charge would be doable, but we had to leave to get to our replacement boat before it could be resolved so we wouldnt lose anymore time on the water. Called Skip the owner 5 days later who now only offered a discounted rate for another rental and refused to either pay the difference for the replacement rental, or a free rental on another day. Said the event was unfortunate and only apologized when he was reminded that he never actually apologized. Very poor customer service, very poor attitude from the owner. We were looking forward to a great day and a marina we would use again since we just moved to the area.This is clearly not the marina.

Had my boat there they replaced the fore stay and did a bad job . the mast came down why I was sailing thankfully I didnt have a boat fully.Three years later and $5500.00 they did nothing!!Now the boat filled with water and did a lot of damage. To make matters worst they took my money for storage. I had to scrap the boat.

Great family atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoy all the time we spend there! Couldnt say enough good things! Plus a wonderful restaurant next door- The Snow Squall.

Great little harbor area. Craft vendors when cruise ships are in. Chowder House has the best clam chowder, get a large bowl!

Great marina and very accommodating. Staff is pleasant. And it is close to stores, very important when you don’t have a car

Its another sprawling marina that feels they have the right to charge you outrageous sums of money to spend the night in close proximity to their property on the land...their showers are lame at best, their dryers dont dry your laundry and the 17 year old on her phone behind the counter couldnt even give us directions to the restaurant next door.

The professionalism of your sales individual was beyond disgraceful. I responded to a Craigslist ad for a private sale of a [1999 Seaswirl 2300 with Trailer 377 Hours] for which I was promptly contacted by a salesman to set up an agreed time to meet.We agreed on 12:00pm on Thursday the 27th, for which was rescheduled by the salesman to 3:30pm Thursday when I contacted him the morning of the 27th. I arrived at about 2:15pm on the 27th to viewthe boat until the salesperson was available. A manger, for whos name I was not able to get, informed me he was currently busy finalizing the sale of the same boat I had scheduled an appointment to view.When I confronted the salesperson about this issue he had only Sorry, This gentleman just walked in. At no point did your sales team demonstrate any real remorse or an attempt to provide me with an alternative purchase.This is not how any person let alone a customer should be treated.
