Retail home improvement store. Seem clean and orderly. Used self checkouts. In the electrical department seem to be out of the new construction items. Prices are average.

As soon as I walked in they were helping to direct me. In a calm and courteous manner. An old timer that worked to fill orders. I should have gotten his name. Thanks.

Great service, good people, large and complete selection of home repair, and building supplies. Complete garden center, well stocked. Large kitchen and bath display area. Large appliance selection. Overall can find just about everything you need.

They cant make special orders for door hardware and they are NOT helpful

Always have what I need. The app is a very useful tool to locate items in the store and each aisle is always clean and organized to make things easier to spot.

My home away from home people say. That might be true because as a handyman I do a wide variety of jobs and need a really wide selection and some tips from the Pro Desk now and then. They seem to always have what I need and are constantly updating their merchandise selection.

I always find what Im looking for, and if the store doesnt have it in stock, they order it up for me. Their prices are always the lowest, and merchandise is always high quality.

The manager of this store ordered over one hundred dollars of catering and tipped me zero dollars. Really appreciate that, Tia.

I waited by the saw for 20 minutes and no one came. I went to customer service and they paged someone to come help me. After waiting 30 minutes I almost left when Ean came and said hed help me. I only needed a 2x4 cut in half. Why dont you have someone at the saw all day? Lowes does! I asked for a manager and Nick told me that their understaffed. I felt like my business wasnt appreciated! Ean was very helpful and apologized for the long wait. I appreciated the help but it was too little, too late! I will not be shopping here again.

Only two choices around, neither are anything great, go there when you have to but dont expect much. They are not customer focused.

Horrible delivery. Driver dropped a pallet of mulch in the middle of my yard without asking. Horrible customer service. When I called to find out what was going on, I got transfered to a guy who didnt have a clue. He passed me on to his supervisor who also couldnt help. Seems they have no idea what there drivers are up to. Supervisor was VERY RUDE, she obviously couldnt be bothered with my issue. This store is the slum of Home Depots.

Great stores anywhere I travel, and often you find an employee who really knows the products and how to use them. The rental shop is a go-to place when doing bigger DIY projects that require expensive tools I only use occasionally. Much better than Lowes.

Stopped to pick up a couple items, both aisles closed off.. after waiting 15 min i left.

Bought a refrigerator from them and they couldnt reverse the doors when they delivered it. They were supposed to sent someone out to do it and I received no phone call from them.took care of it myself [they should have reverse the doors before delivering it.]

Previously gave one star due to extra frustrating experience but ultimately they are still my go to and preferable to Lowe’s.

Clean friendly good service and prices

The staff here is amazing. Greg in millwork made sure I got the exact door I wanted. Ricardo in flooring went way over and above when the amount I ordered wasnt available. Adrian was on his first day and was helpful getting our new windows loaded on our truck; with a smile and great personality. Its the staff there that keeps us coming back. And you may have guessed, a lot of renovations going on. Its not HD thats getting our business, its the people that work there.

They almost always have what I need and the service is consistently good.

Most employees are friendly and willing to help but the knowledge could be better rounded some seemed as lost as I was. Overall though very friendly people there

Jamie in the flooring department took his time today to help me with a “sanding the floor/peeling paint” questions. He helped me understand everything from the equipment I’ll need, to the total cost of the project. He was easy to talk to and very friendly! Thank you for helping me thru this heachache!

They didn’t have a truck to rent but had good customer service

There is a lady who helps me pick out some Sunflowers& Mulch and helped me figure everything out I needed to start my garden. She was an expert and she truly made my day. She took her time to find me the best sunflowers to get. She snipped the dead flowers for me & all. I hate I forgot her name, shes worked there awhile Im sure. She was an expert and I would go back to her just bc her customer service was so great. I could tell she loved what she does and Im sure her garden is beautiful.

As long as most times I am helped by female staff Im fine. Old white guys with bad attitude..not so much.

Excellent customer service. Went in to pick up some things needed for a project and to get my blinds cut and the staff was very welcoming and kind. The young man who cut my blinds offered me loading help afterwards, very courteous.

As a professional, and HD claiming there for tradesmen is a joke. HD has become a great store for DIY, as for real professionals, move on and have find a relationship with someone who can actually help. Tired of wasted trips to end up looking at homeowner quality stuff.

A location that represents the Home Depot brand excellently. Staff here are always pleasant to work with. In-store order pickup is easily accessible and speedy with getting your order completed. Ample parking, easy access from any direction of the mall area. Hands down my favorite Home Depot location to visit in southern Maine.

Recent visit to store I was pleased to see signs posted regarding mandatory wearing of face masks, however when looking for items in the gardening area we encountered a group of workers appearing to be assembling gas grills and other things but no one in the crew was wearing any face coverings. As they were in the area that we wanted to access to look at pavers, we felt very uncomfortable in that situation and left store without what we were looking for.Very mixed messages about stores policy and commitment to our health and safety.

There isnt enough space here for me to tell you about the absolute horror we went through buying kitchen cabinets. In the end we fought hard and got our money back. We then went to Lowes and it was night and day. Anything that came up, from a broken cabinet to a the finish on one door being wrong, no questions asked and immediately taken care of. I now shop at Lowes as much as possible.

Michael in flooring, without a doubt is one of the most wonderful people that I have ever dealt with at a Home Depot! Exceptional service! I am so grateful for his assistance! Becca, was very helpful and a wonderful sidekick! The two of them make an incredible team!!!

Putting my home on the market. Needed help upgrading my kitchen and bath, and selecting a paint color to repaint the entire interior of my home. Lisa was amazing in the Kitchen Design area. Helped pick out a beautiful, and inexpensive, Formica counter-top for both the bath and kitchen, new sinks and faucets, color for my kitchen and bath cabinets and hardware. She has amazing sense of color, style and design. The end product is amazing!!! If you are color-pallet challenged like I am, talk the the pros, they are great!!

Went in for toilet paper, with everything currently going on we didn’t see any and wondered if you needed to ask an associate specifically for tp (like some other stores were doing due to panic buying). We asked if we there was any tp and if we needed to ask to get some to which the response we got was “When we have it we sell it” and my boyfriend replied “So...don’t have any right now?” and we got “nope” as a response. Not very nice or very helpful.

The entry doors are on the right and exit on the left. A profuse selection of categories and items for almost every use for your home and property. Some items are seasonal. This location is probably similar to other large Home Depots. There is plenty of parking available.

Do not buy an appliance here if it gets delivered by Atlantic Transport Services. Took 5 delivery dates over 3 months, missed 2 days of work, waited around 2 Saturdays. They never followed up when they say they would, a total lack of respect for your time and unaccommodating. Manager at home Depot followed up, but didnt seem to think this was a recurrent issue even though there are 50plus reviews w similar stories. If you value your time and sanity, be sure you do not get stuck w Atlantic transport services.

Very good. The man that helped me was very helpful especially considering that what I was looking for was not in a department that he works in. I wasnt in a rush so I didnt mind that it took 5 or 6 whole minutes to find it. He did his job very well.

I visited the retail store to fix an absolute nightmare of deal that the Home Depot website offered. I was thankful to get non-judgmental help from Darrell, Chris and Josh. I was reminded that box store corporations are the devil, but the workers on the ground are decent and honest people. I avoided spending any more money here and will return to taking my business to a local hardware store.

I ordered a swing set for my sons birthday from home depot because they offered installation services. I even went into the store to make sure I was ordering the correct way to include installation. After the swing set had been delivered I followed up a few days later to see how long I should expect to wait to be contacted by the installer. They informed me that this service was not offered here in Maine. Since the only reason I ordered the swing set was them was because they could install, I asked them to return the set which they wanted to charge me $80 to pick up. After discussing with the manager they agreed to waive the fee but still left me without a present for my sons birthday. Luckily I was able to find a local contractor to assemble the swing set. Home Depot really dropped the ball and was not accommodating. This will be the last time I buy any big ticket items form them.

Sorry Home Depot - you not only let customers in without masks - you had EMPLOYEES without masks. That’s a fail.

This is a sort of smaller version of homedepot or so it appears the dozen times Ive been here or so. They do have rental equipment though. Thought that was great and seem to carry enough to do most anything you need to do.
