Went to store at 5:45 and they would not let me in because the attendant said they closed at six. This place is terrible

Its small but clean an has alittle of everything. Friendly cashiers, an they are food at what they do. They ring everyone up nice fast an friendly. Love dollar general ❤

2 days ago I would have rated one star. K go 3 times a week and love the manager and some employee but 1. He blatantly asked me if I was taking hair dye and clearly I didnt have it when it was time to check out. I was highly offended

Couldnt find hot chocolate in December and staff didnt know where it was supposed to be stocked.

Extremely rude I called and had the phone hang up on me four times . She literally picked up the phone and hung it up four times in a row... I wanted to know if they if they had something in store. Get rid of your phone number off google if you don’t want people calling you...

The Dollar General carry everything from groceries to home Essentials bathroom essentials laundry Essentials cleaning Essentials. They also have clothes. And entertainment. They are very reasonably priced. And going to One Dollar General you feel comfortable going to other Dollar Generals because theyre so similar in set up prices and product.

I have never been to the store. Id only been to Dollar Tree and Family Dollar I was impressed with the amount of inventory they had some of the stuff seemed a lot higher quality than the other dollar type stores

I am a everyday customer as well as both my kids walk down to this store i literally buy cigarettes everyday here to well today the tall slim guy there 1230pm to 1pm asked for id for wanting cigarettes though he is in there most times an knows i get smokes an has even sold them to me multiple times before an wouldnt sell them to me today i would like to get in contact with the top boss of the place asap

While I was in the store someone tried to rob them.

I done hopped out the getti, so hyped to get some feast with the boys then I realized Dolar General is closed at 9:15. When it says they close at 10. I thought to myself y’all are realllyyyy cappin™️. A fella is trying to feast so heavily but insteaf I took my talents to irving. WHICH IS OPENED DURING THE HOURS IT SAYD IT IS OPEN. DOLLAR GENERAL IS JUCK.

Local South Portland DG is great..clean and well stocked

No stars! I have been accused twice of stealing from this store. And both times the cashier was wrong... I even took it up with thw sweet older lady who works most mornings. But today around 5pm we went down to get a couple house hold items and food. As we were leaving a cashier came out ans asked my daughter young son (in a stroller) and myaelf to go back into the store. I asked why (of course) and the cashier said A CUSTOMER saw the women in the purple coat take something. I said she is my daughter ill check her. I checked her pockets in her pants and coat patted down her legs and arms and checked her bra area all to be a smart ass cause i know he hadnt taken anything.the cashier wven said thank you for understanding and checkikg. And asked my daughter to return into the store to talk to the manager. Before my daughter could gwt into the store the manager on (has a blue color hair in the back of her head) was yelling at my underaged daughter and saying IF I SEE ANYTHING ON THE CAMERAS THEN YOUR BANNED. So we get home and i check her stuff as She takes it off and nothing. So i call to put that straight and im told now that this manager saw her steal (not what we were told at all) and if she saw her steal it she should of stopped us before we left the store considering we brang our own bags and bagged it ourself by the entrance... and i get constantly hung up on.... Such rude customer service one and two this lady needs to make sure someone steals well before stopping them once they leave the store.... And make sure the person is not a minor.... I will be contacting whom ever i have to, to ensure she gets in reprimanded for hee actions.
