Went in to take a look at a Jeep Cherokee at certain price let them know we would call them next day which they confirmed wanted to hear from us on the purchase. We call the next day as planned and they state would send over contract to finalize with my bank but nothing after whole day passed. I call again next day and all of a sudden out of no where they state the car was no longer for sale at same price advertised. Doesnt seem like a professional dealership at all. This could have been handled better on their part.
Absolutely wonderful experience. I got there and the car was out front and running! We were given a tour of the car and they almost immediately let us take it out for a test drive! Very respectful service and great people. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! They definitely exceeded my expectations!
They both directly lied to me and were irresponsible completing all aspects of the sale.They made a (verbal) promise to pay half of any repairs in the first 30 days, and the alternator needed replacing in about 14 days. They refused to pay their half. Oh, and they also told us they fixed a leak in a tire, which to them meant just filling it with air.They also said theyd take care of getting our license plates mailed to us, which they promptly forgot to do and when we called about it the first time they said they mailed them or will take care of it. Then when they still hadnt arrived they day our temporary plates expired, they said Oh yeah, weve got them right here for you. We live about 300 miles away from their dealership and they knew that.

Trying to solve an issue with a re-call on my vehicle and only wanted a copy of my receipt of labor done, and in the end they didn’t provide me it because it wasn’t “found” in their system. They easily get frustrated on doing their job!Do not recommend any service here.

Service was excellent they went above and beyond, We came to the Central Auto close to noon, right around lunch time after the tests driving on about 4 diferente cars and finding the right one We were starving I mentioned that to the manager that we needed to stepped out for a while to find a place to eat, there was no hesitation in offering to get the food for us and immediately send for the food being the Mexican flavor our desire they got us some delicious carne asada tacos that also love or to mention this great people decide to pay for it, Id like to thank you for all specially to Alex, Mr. Manager and Russ to ensure that costumer are not just a dollar sign but a person who they identified and say your name and take these curious costumers and turn them in a friend and make feel a bit more confident when buying a car from them and let you go home trusting that your effort in working hard and getting a car was a very good investment and the way they handled the warranty its really good, I could go on and on about they stand behind their sale but resuming everything this is a great place to buy a really good car even for a first time buyer, not even a week and recommended this place to a friend and he was very happy as well, kudos to this place and five stars all the way.

Horrible customer service! You don’t tell a customer you are holding a car for them once their application is in, then let them drive an hour to come look at the car because they want to drive it again, and then once you get there tell them it’s actually been sold for the past two hours. Slimey and untrustworthy. Possibly the worst dealership in Utah.

Had the truck I wanted, decent price. I paid cash. About 40% down and the rest when they delivered the truck. They said they would meet me half way. Didnt hear from them until they were an hour late saying they were still an hour away. If youre going to be late, thats fine but have the professionalism and courtesy to tell me, especially when I buy a vehicle cash from you. Everything goes decent at the lot, but as soon as you sign a contract they no longer care about you. Id be happy to change this review if I got a real apology, or they made it right some how, but they already got my money and its obvious they dont care about me as a customer past that. Im just a number and I promise you are also if you buy a vehicle from them. I cant recommend using them as of now. Ive been sitting on a bench for 2 hours waiting on their broken promise.
Recently purchased 1 06 Charger and 1 08 F350 super duty both vehicles as well as all that we looked at were clean in good repair, our salesmen ( J.R. and John) were more than helpful, cooperative, and patient our day of driving and going over numbers about different vehicles to find the ones that worked for us was long . they dedicated all of there time to us while we were there, most definitely helpful even before we arrived J.R. had been conversing with me for 3 days prior helping me to decide on the correct truck, he persuaded me away from a couple that likely would have been a disappointment for me. Bought a Truck in December 2015. Bought the extended warranty for the truck. This warranty sounds great. Told that the warranty will cover anything that goes wrong with the truck. That is WRONG!!! Very little is covered by this warranty. I now have a truck that I can not drive. It needs $4000 in repairs to get it running again. I have called multiple times and was told someone will call me back. Still have not been called back. I am about to call them again to see what is going on. The say 100% satisfaction guaranteed. I think that means they guarantee that they are satisfied.I did get a response and a phone call. That was nice. However I still have not been able to schedule a time to bring my truck up to have them check it out. I am glad that they are willing to take a look at it. However I am getting more frustrated about the fact that it is nearly impossible to get someone to call me back. I am getting conflicting information depending on who I talk to. I am really not sure what to do next except call them over and over and continue to update this until something is finally taken care of. Having a truck is great. Having a truck that you are not sure if you should drive is pointless!!! JR if you could help me with getting this issue resolved would be great. I hate that it comes to me having to update this in order to get a response or a call back.

The car they sold us was good and has driven quite nicely since we bought it in December, but their services are sketchy and their customer service is very rude. The salesman was quite nice, but the financial guy was very dodgy. He quoted us the interest rate and payments for the car based on our credit, but didnt tell us that he didnt confirm that rate with the bank. We were a little peeved by the $500 dealer fee (which is twice what it usually is in Utah), and he also tried to sell us on a warranty for $1200 that wouldnt even cover most of the car because of its age. When we declined the warranty, he was very sneaky and tried to play on our emotions. The car was nice, so we sucked it up and paid the dealer fee. We signed the paperwork and went on our way. They called us back about a week later saying there was a problem. They had failed to take into account the age of the car, which bumped up the interest rate. The financial guy was very condescending and claimed it wasnt his fault, even though he gave us the quote without actually confirming with the bank, and we had already signed paperwork declaring the final cost. The manager finally stepped in and told him to reduce the price of the car so that we could get the payment we agreed on. But our problems didnt end there. We requested them to mail our license plates to us. The day our temporary plates expired, we called in to check the status of them. The person on the phone told us they werent ready and they hadnt received them yet. Literally two hours later, someone else called us and said they were ready for us to pick up. I didnt bother to request for them to be mailed again as our temporary plates were about to expire, so I drove up to fetch them. Then I found out that they had sent the plates to THE WRONG OFFICE, so I had to drive down to their Draper office to pick them up. No apologies and extremely condescending. The car was good, but the nightmare of clearing up the mess they created was not worth it in the end.
This was a great experience. They made things quick and easy. I applied online, test drove, and the next day the car was detailed and ready for pick up. I will be spreading the name around. Sam was my sales rep and he went out of his way to get me in the car I wanted. Thumbs up! A great company.

Just purchased a 2009 chevy tahoe yesterday staff was friendly and nice. However we traveled 6hrs to purchase and within 3hrs of driving home the change engine oil soon notification came one. Also we have only had it for 33hrs and now the check engine light is on. This makes me very sad. Hoping its not a huge problem.
We were in the market for a truck and had been to all the big places in the valley and couldnt find what we really wanted. We finally decided to look at some other places and that journey brought us to Central Auto in Draper. They had trucks and good prices. The guys let us look around without the hassle and headache. Once we needed help Vince was spectacular and made the car buying experience like hanging out with your friend. He wasnt pressuring and was honest every step of the way. Chris handled our financing and was on top of it. We stopped in on Saturday and had our approval by 10am on Monday with no follow up on our part. Monday evening we go into the office to sign the papers and Tyler walked us through everything very professionally and answered our questions. Before you go to any of the other places go by Central Auto in Draper. You wont be disappointed.

I came down from Idaho to car shop around Salt Lake, this was my first stop. Online the price looked promising, especially if we could work on it with a trade-in. Right away, the salesman Alex was on top of things and was quite helpful. Not too knowledgeable about the specific car, (Chevy Volt), but he was professional and personable. Once we went in to the dealership to start looking at the price, some older guy took over and right off the bat, he wasnt exactly easy to work with. He clearly didnt want to be there, he didnt want to work with me whatsoever. I get it, working on a Saturday and whatnot. But I had some pretty reasonable requests. The price was obviously a couple grand over a good deal, so I asked if theyd put some decent tires on it or drop the price because the tires were also almost bald. Nope. He acted as if that was the most outrageous request. Then proceeded to offer me a hundred bucks for the trade in, the car was easily worth a grand open market. I would get more from literally scrapping it at a junkyard. He refused to budge on either subjects, so I promptly left. Not impressed with my experience, not impressed with the salesmen, not happy about any of it. Youd be infitely better going about 30mi over to Clean Fuels and buying from them if youre looking for a hybrid or electric car. The prices are spot on and they are STILL willing to bargain. Theyre all incredibly nice and they clearly know what theyre doing. Dont bother with these guys, especially if their other salesmen are ANYTHING like the guy I got.
They have very friendly salespeople that want to help you find the right fit for what you need while making you feel comfortable with your decisions. They are willing to help out with any issues you may have with they car! Another thing I find great about Cental Auto is that they advertise what each car is. They let you know exactly what you are are getting in a car.

This place has been fantastic! Before I came into Central Auto, I researched the van I wanted on KSL. When I can into the lot, the salesmen was very nice and gave me the time to talk to my spouse about our thoughts. We got the van we wanted and provided the price that we surprising got lower. They covered body charges for a little bump on the door. Im very satisfied.
Bought a car here. So far it has been a good car. It has high miles and some cosmetic issues but so far so good. I have to drive a long ways int he morning and hope it makes it. The staff that helped us were new and very helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Some of the older staff however seemed sneaky and rather grumpy. I would recommend buying a car her but stick with the new guys here! I got an outstanding deal and would come back if i could deal with the polite and friendly part of the staff!!
I have been looking for a Jeep for 2 years and I finally seen the add for the 2006 Jeep Rubicon. I actually called the Draper store and talked to a nice gentleman named Vincent, who informed me that the car was in the Murray store and that I would have to go look at the Jeep there. He told me to talk to Sam and so I did. Sam was wonderful to work with and the vehicles that they sell here at Central Auto are all very clean and in good condition. I will be back.

I bought the car from this auto and after two days I filled the gas and make it full tank, but dashboard meter shows 75%.After that I called to chris and he was replying we will not check if you want to check then pay the money, that was the worst experience in I have and I will not suggest recommended anybody to go in that shop and if you guys buy the car check everything even dashboard and all the functionalities.Now I am crying and planning to sale this car again.Chris you are the worst sales person I ever seen.

Bought a 2010 F-350 Ford truck and bought a warranty that was damn near $3,000 that was supposed to cover the entire truck, a bumper-bumper warranty and our transmission, after a year of having the truck, broke down on us. They sent an inspector to see what went wrong with the transmission. A lack of fluid is what they said even though there was plenty of fluid in the truck regardless of that they denied our claim. We spent thousands of dollars on a warranty that isnt actually bumper-bumper. False advertising! We are going out of pocket near $3,000. Dont buy a warranty from this place unless you would like to be screwed over and lose your money. Let them know to stick that warranty where the sun dont shine. Im extremely livid about this entire situation. This isnt the salespersons fault at all. Its the manager who made empty promises and filled our ears with lies. Dont get scammed out of your money!

We went to look at a car they had on their lot and we walked around the whole lot and not once did anyone ask if they could help us, so we walked into the building and asked if we could get some help and yet still no one helped they just ignored that we even said anything.

I bought a car from this dealership in April. Im happy with my car however they promised to get my car in for a detail because when I took it off the lot it was dirty. I followed up with them regarding the detail and I kept getting excuses as to why they couldnt get me in. Im not really upset about the detail itself, its the fact that I was promised something and they never delivered.

I have never written a review, but this really rubbed my husband and I the wrong way and he wanted me to add a note about this place. I would not recommend Central Auto to anyone. First off, my husband and I live a distance a way and were very interested in a vehicle here, which is just about 4.5/5 hours from where we live. We asked every question we could think of to ask one of the salesmen about this vehicle, because we were NOT going to drive all that way just to look at it. The salesman made the car seem like it was in great condition- the only thing it needed was a new strut and that they would replace it BEFORE we got there 5 hours later- otherwise, it was in great condition. We got there and the vehicle was a piece of junk. We found at least 5 or 6 things wrong with it just looking at it and within the first 30 seconds of driving it (my husband knows cars, so Im sure they thought we didnt know much and they could sell us a piece of junk). Then after saying no, we dont want the car, they tried and tried and tried to sell us vehicles we werent even interested in and TOLD them we didnt want. There were a few other sketchy situations but Im not going to get into it anymore. Like the other reviews say, stereotypical salesmen. We were SO disappointed and bummed out because we made a 9 hour round trip for the worse service.

Hands down the WORST car buying experience of my life. If I could give zero stars I would.Went in to look for a car for myself and 2(soon to be 3) kids. One of the salesmen was able to get us approved for a vehicle that was the perfect size for us. The first two weeks we had the car were spent trying to get in contact with the salesman about one final paper that needed to be signed but was never ready. Come to find out, he never submitted the paper to be financed so we had essentially been driving a stolen vehicle. He ended up getting fired and we went back to finish the paperwork with someone new. Fast forward to ONE MONTH later, and we get a call from the general manager saying that this had happened AGAIN, only this time we wouldnt be able to be approved and we needed to return the car because they had someone coming to look at it that day. Since Ive had the car its been back to the dealership twice for service and no one had bothered to mention any of this to us. We had originally put $500 down but when the first person never submitted paperwork we ended up having to put down ANOTHER $500 to keep the car and now they are saying theres a chance we wont be getting that back.This is the most unorganized and unprofessional business I have ever dealt with and I will never recommend them to anyone.

If I could give 0 Stars I would. They are so rude, they dont listen to what you want to do or answer questions when you ask. They were VERY VERY rude to my grandma when we went back in to talk to them about a car. Sam basically called her a liar. They also stated that the car was in the shop before I picked it up.! I have had NOTHING but issues with this P.O.S car now! I mean Tranny Control Module went out with in 1 day of having the car, and the service engine light they were Fixing yet to ever come back on with all the issues that I have had with this car. Obviously they didnt fix it they just shut it off. I have tried to call and ask for help WILLING to pay for the repairs, and diag just need help with the car and I keep getting hung up on. I will NEVER do service with this company again!

Bought a 2010 Lincoln MKZ back at the beginning of the year and it’s just gave me too many problems. The battery stoped working less than 1 month after the purchase. The wheels were painted and were already peeling and they didn’t want to do anything about it. The steering wheel liquid would leak. The tires were worn out. Had an oil change required light on they said it was normal they couldn’t take it off but had the oil change done when it wasn’t. The engine mounts were worn out had to buy those new. They didn’t even have an original key to the car. We drove over 3 hours and payed cash and they didn’t want to negotiate the price nor see the effects the car had. I won’t buy from this car dealership ever again and I don’t recommend their service. Wasn’t going to post any negative comments but I’ve had enough problems with the car.
