Had a date tonight with the hubby! Laura was awesome teaching us what to do! We had so much fun! We will be back!
This was such a fun experience! I actually enjoy it more than the wine and paint because I actually use everything I can make here. Its really awesome if you want to make something for loved ones as well. They give you so many options on what you can so ans how you want to decorate your craft to make it personal!
Attended gnomes set night and truly enjoyed myself. Wonderful relaxing atmosphere and the price for projects are very reasonable. I was greeted when I entered and friendly departure also. Laura (the owner) has always been positive and very hands on helping not only me but others during the night. I will be coming back, would not go anywhere else for wood projects. Thanks Laura for having great workshops. Here is my finished gnomes project.
Went to the oversized welcome sign with planter on 8/1/20. Tiffany did an amazing job at helping every participant and made the experience so much more fun. Did a great job with keeping safety in mind during these times! Can’t wait to do my next workshop!
I absolutely love this place! I dropped by to attend their open paint workshop yesterday and had so much fun. Not only did I walk away with a cute product, the staff made the experience so enjoyable! They were so helpful in guiding me through the steps and even suggesting color patterns that match my home decor. Every time Im there, I leave with a project idea for the next time I attend- I just cant get enough! 10/10 recommend to anyone wanting to solo paint, date night, or an activity with your girlfriends.
I attended an open paint workshop today and had the best experience! Not only was I super happy with the projects I made, the staff was friendly and patient. I wasn’t expected to know all the steps right away; Laura made sure to come by and help me frequently throughout the process. Great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Highly recommend. I’ll be back!
It’s hard for me to see the fact that the owner was so pleasant and assisted everyone else in having such a great time while creating their projects, when all of our group had such a different experience. The first smile that was cracked or pleasantries that were had were well into the workshop. We went for a low key bachelorette party and the bride felt like she was unable to even ask a question without getting into trouble. While the owner was able to come around in the end and be more friendly, she still did not apologize for the rude way that we were treated at first.I understand that she has a business to run and that if people are late, then that is frustrating and appears disrespectful to the person running the workshop, but even after we proved to her, from her own website, that we were only doing what we thought we were supposed to (which was arriving 30 minutes early to the workshop that occurred at 6:30), she still didn’t apologize or anything - instead she held her ground insisting that we were wrong and that it didn’t matter. In the end, it wasn’t really about the time, it was about the fact that she was incredibly rude to all of us right from the second we got there, with no apology. To reiterate, I had no clue what I was doing in this workshop. When I asked questions, I got snippy answers as if I’m supposed to already understand. It’s hard to remember everything that was said specifically, but personally I just feel that our group is owed an apology for the mistreatment that SIX people felt within an instance. And please make sure to verify your time and appointment, as I feel that will likely make all the difference when you attend.I love my project and I am thankful for the help that I did receive and the warmth (in the end), but we could have done without the rudeness in the beginning. It made me not want to return if that’s how I would be treated and was instrumental in me writing a review to help other people, since I never write reviews.
Even after dealing with a belligerent drunk individual, Christina (our host) still helped finish her project to take home when her sober ride was called.Highly recommend! Fun atmosphere where we could all laugh, create, and relax.Thank you again to Christina for your professionalism and loving words.
I enjoyed a class with a bunch of other ladies. We all enjoyed making our selected projects and the instructor was friendly and very helpful. My project turned out great!
Messaged the studio this morning on Friday, April 17 about getting a take home kit at 8:00 am this morning and received a really snippy response about not meeting the deadline for ordering kits. The owner was unable to accommodate my request and said that the ordering deadline 4/16 at midnight. She was said that she was unable to accommodate me. I have purchased items from her before. I am very disappointed.
I was very disappointed at the how the owner treated us. The website said the workshop started at 6:30 on the website. We walked in at 6:01, were told we were late without a welcome or even a thank you for being there. There was only one other lady there besides our entire party that filled the remainder of the slots. She told us all of the directions at one time; none of us had ever done a pallet project before. She didn’t smile for the first 40 minutes or so. We were very upset with how we were treated and should have just walked out when we arrived. Our projects ended up beautiful, but we all felt very uncomfortable. Sadly, we will never be back.
What a great time I had, creating a flower box full of colorful, wooden flowers. First class down, many more to go!
We were very disappointed with our experience here, and our interaction with the owner. We will unfortunately not be going back, nor recommending it to anyone we know.
Always fun. H&S makes the projects easy and fun to do.
Friendly atmosphere My barn quilt turned out great !
It was so clean and quiet
